Four Points by Sheraton York

A very nice hotel with good customer service. We used the gym and hot tub during our stay. Our room was clean and smoke free. The bathroom could use more counter space and a fan. Could also have benefited from another nightstand next to the bed.

Overbooked the property and was not able to comfortably accommodate us when we booked a room with two doubles; gave us a king. One elevator was broken and we couldn’t get off on our floor; Had to go up or down one and walk. Hot tub was broken. Pool staff was friendly. Overall poor experience. We weren’t the only people with room issues

The pool was out of service. 😓that made me sad

Stayed here fore the state fair and very convenient. Room was nice and spacious, and super cute. Elevators were a bit questionable, and was out one of the nights so we ended up taking the stairs the rest of our stay until checkout, and even then we were so nervous to use it because of the questionable sounds. Other than that, we loved our stay.

Room was nice, but they gave me room 201 which was right by the elevator, pool entrance and ice machine, so very loud. The pool is indoor, but has a nice outdoor deck with loungers, which was nice.

Very happy with our stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Room 220 - outlet next to left of bed not working. Toilets are very low to ground. Not much you can do about that. Coffee valet sparsely stocked. Pool and hot tub very nice, clean. We went to the hot tub at 830 - 930pm, we had 3 children well under the age of 10 accompanying us the entire time. They were sweet children but kids are kids and it would have been nice at that time of the evening to have some down time. The beds were very comfortable, nice big TV. Quiet at night. Breakfast had plenty of choices with real dishes and flatware. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was very good, and the property has a heated pool and hot tub. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Parking has an awkward layout, the rooms were on the small size, and the elevator has a mindnof it's own. Overall, we had a very nive stay. We will stay here again.

Pleasantly surprised by how lovely the hotel was. The pool was great, the room was great, the hotel looked and smelled good, and even though the bar/ restaurant was understaffed it was a pleasant experience.

Great indoor pool! Fun place to stay for a quick getaway!

If you like to wake up to a cold shower in the morning, this is your place. Clean enough. Spent two nights, as did the a groups of young cheerleaders, hockey players and lacrosse teams. Our door apparently locked but could be pushed open easily by anyone. We didn’t let any of this spoil our trip..

We had no hot water at all

It was okay for a quick hotel. We needed something last minute and picked the most reasonable priced hotel in the area. There was a sports tournament happening and the walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything with a very full hotel. Upon entering our room, everything looked nice-ish but there was a scent of urine in the room. We let them now and when we came back to the room it did smell better. Part of the floors are wood and when walking with white socks, they were covered in dirt. Time in bathroom has a lot of grout. It’s obvious this hotel was very quickly and cheaply renovated and the photos are a bit deceiving when you actually see the state of the room. The elevators were also extremely small so carrying bags up may be a bit challenging.

property was ok, renovated but poorly. The elevator buttons didn't work and they had a sticker on the elevator doors asking people to press buttons (for a few seconds) until the elevator registers the request. One staff member (who checked us in, out) lacked any customer service skills or care. drain in shower of room 504 was very slow and within a 3 minutes shower the tub had almost 2 inches of water.

I stayed for two nights for a weekend birthday party. It looks very clean and kept up on the outside, the lobby was nice and the person at the desk was very helpful. I got up to the room, and the security latch was slightly broken. It looked like someone had tried to open the door before with it locked previously, and it was one push away from breaking out of the wall. Bed was comfortable, bath wouldn’t fill up more than 1/4 of the way up. I was given 1 towel and 2 wash cloths, even for a one person booking, you’d think they would out another towel or two in the bathroom. It wasn’t terrible, but for the price I paid, I expected a little more.

It was very very noisy. At 2:30 am we were woken by people speaking and laughing extremely loud in a room either above us or next to us. The room has hardwood and tile floors and they were walking around high heels. We were traveling for my daughter’s volleyball tournament so we needed to be up and out early in the morning. Most hotels we stay at observe quiet hours between 11pm and 7am which is super convenient. But all night long we heard running through the hallway and slamming doors. It was very uncomfortable. Would definitely not stay here again for next year’s tournament.

This was a one night stay after going to a Renaissance faire. Booked primarily for having a pool and hot tub and it delivered. Nice large pool and hot tub, clean and conveniently located. The room was clean and updated, beds firm but not hard. Squishy as usual pillows big that's a given. Was quiet around and in the hotel, with amazing black out shades. Woke at 9 am and no light was in the room-so set an alarm! Quick check in and out, lovely staff. Never made it to breakfast, so can't speak about that. Will definitely stay at this location again in the future. Great cost, centrally located to many food and shopping options. Only con was a loud flush for the toilet. Totally not an issue with high water pressure in the shower, comfy sleeping conditions and quite/dark rooms. Worth it!!

Right off the highway so very easy access. Place is nice but I feel like the sound proofing wasn't the beat as all I heard all night was doors cloaing which kept me wide awake.

Was a nightmare, terrible customer service

We checked in at 8 PM. And our room wasn’t ready. The staff were eating pasta in the hallway. Hope it wasn’t a customer’s food .

This was one of the worst experiences ever. My family and I traveled to PA to see the Noah show at Sight and Sound theatre. I researched this hotel and booked the two queen wheelchair accessible room that was available on the website and also requested a roll away bed because my mother in law has mobility issues and can’t climb into high beds. I called the hotel the same day of booking AND paying for my room to confirm that a roll away bed would be available. We arrived at 7:30 pm after a long day of traveling and events only to be told that the room actually only had one king bed and that all of the roll away beds were given away and that there was nothing they could do, even thought they did see the note from the employee I had spoken to days earlier for the roll away bed. The manager tooo us around to several rooms in an attempt to accommodate us, but none of the rooms were suitable for our family and for wheelchair accessibility. He did offer to put a mattress on the floor as a consolation for all the roll away beds being occupied. I was also charged an incidental fee that I was assured wasn’t charged to my card, but that I discovered was actually charged to my card and now I have to call this god forsaken place back in an attempt to retrieve my funds. I had to spend my evenings calling around trying to find an alternative. I was never offered a consolation for my inconvenience and I will never stay at a Sheraton aver again.

The night manager Maria was amazing. We were coming into town for a family emergency and had no idea when we would be able to check in. Maria worked with us to ensure we would be covered and not lose our reservation. Even at 3:30am when we showed up, she was all smiles and very sympathetic. We apprecioated her approach and candor and would stay again simply because of her

Our stay was solely for the purpose of being closer to the Wellspan Hospital York for a surgical procedure and not having to deal with early morning traffic from Lancaster county. We have done this before and found it to be very convenient. We do not use any amenities available. However the bathroom did not have a floor mat nor wash cloths. The front desk clerk was very apologetic and offered us a complimentary breakfast. However we could not take her offer because of eating restriction prior to surgery. We would stay here again.

Hotel was in a convenient location, quiet and clean. The only thing I would change is the alarm clock which we didn't know was even there until it went off at 6am. The room next door to us went off automatically 15 min after ours but there was no one there to shut it off...

It felt like a little getaway on top of a hill. Like, we weren’t even in the city it’s located in. The pool was great! We will def be coming back to use the Four Points as our private getaway from all the chaos.

The room we booked was not what we got! The Expedia representative I spoke with before the trip assured me this was what was booked. I asked her because their were five of us! She said it would be a separate living area and separate bedroom with two queen beds. We stayed for the weekend and wanted room to move about in our hotel room but that didn’t happen. Our room we got was totally cramped with five people in a room. The breakfast was not a hot breakfast there supposedly were pipes broke in the kitchen. Nothing was as expected. The hotel said they couldn’t do anything because we booked through Expedia and had to change it through them. The hotel tried to give us a king suite but we had five people. Just ridiculous and a Bummer! This was Expedia’s fault for not verifying everything with the hotel! You just have the representatives say whatever and take our money & run! The hotel blames Expedia and Expedia blames the hotel. Makes no sense.

We felt safe at the property. However our room was never cleaned. We arrived on Friday and left Monday morning. The hotel bar did not open until 5 pm which we felt was a bummer. The toilet, when it was flushed, sounded like a cannon went of. Would have preferred dresser drawers as opposed to shelves.

Checking in was funny, the front desk guy insisted on me having a physical driver's license when I have the real ID and MD approved online photo. He tried to say I MUST have the license- I said I don't have it- now what? it's 1145 pm. And look at that- he was able to review the government issued ID. When asked to provide a credit card, I asked for touch-pay- and yet again- can't do touch pay. But can do insert or tap? No clue where these rules are coming from, however, I don't carry a wallet anymore because I don't need to. This is the first time in about a year where I've had to figure some alternative out or just shrug and say 'oh well'. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom door wouldn't open. So at Midnight- we had to get maintenance to come up and 'jimmy' the lock to get it open. In the morning, at the breakfast, the most pleasant lady was taking care of us and she couldn't have made the experience any better. We really appreciated her attention to us and all those around us.

Horrible experience. The cleaning crew took all our dirty towels and didn't replace them. Got in at 10pm after a long day playing volleyball at a tournament and had no towels. Called the desk, etc. and was told that they didn't have any towels and wouldn't have any until the next morning. Unbelievable. And they told us breakfast was until 11am. Went down at 10am on Monday and it turns out that breakfast is only until 11 on the weekends. No info in the room, etc. stating the hours so we had to go out and pay for breakfast when it was included in our price at the hotel. And it goes on and on... Horrible management.
