Great location in Sitges!! The hotel had a shared reception area that was down the street. It felt a bit detached from the main hotel with all the amenities- Hotel Medium Romantic!! If someone had been in the reception area and there was a small breakfast, it would have been better !!

Las instalaciones son preciosas con un estilo unico “romantico” que hace la estadia una experiencia maravillosa. Los empleados son super amables y el desayuno es una sensacion de diferentes sabores que hace especial empezar el dia !!! Super recomendado !!!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were very polite and welcoming throughout our visit. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location, and for the price we paid, we really couldn’t complain. There was always plenty of hot water for showers, even for two people, which was great. However, one frustrating issue we experienced was with the room keys. They frequently deactivated, and after coming back in the evenings, we often had to walk up all the stairs only to find the key wouldn’t work—then wait for someone to let us in. We did make sure to keep the keys separate from everything else to avoid this, but it didn’t seem to help. Despite that, it’s a fabulous hotel overall, and I would definitely stay here again—though next time I’d probably book a room in the main Romantic hotel building.

The hotel has a real challenge with its door system. As the hotel lays detached to the reception, you have to go to another hotel to fix your room card. In the end we were so annoyed that we got a normal key to at least be able to enter the main door without having the feeling to gamble. It feels like you are a bit forgotten in this annex. Which is really sad because we like our stays in the Medium group before. In addition you will not get the same treats like in the main house (like pastry next to the coffee machine). The coffee machine was in fact dangerous as you felt the electricity when you were touching the metal.

Shabby side of shabby chic. A grand old building in the centre of town. Reception at its sister hotel around the corner was fine. We had a nice terrace from our ground floor room and there's a roof terrace on the 3rd level which was very underused.

Beautiful hotel. But for some reason check-in takes place in the neighboring building. The room is excellent, clean, towels were changed every day. But you can hear everything that happens in the hall, because of this it is impossible to sleep in the morning. My reservation included breakfast, but it was not provided. Probably breakfast was served in the neighboring hotel, but I am not ready to get up in the morning and go to the neighboring building

I loved the charming period hotel with lots of details. The location could not be better. The breakfast was outstanding, especially with the outdoor garden area. Be aware that this is a couple of historical houses and not everything is in one building. There are no elevators and the friendly staff is not always available to help with luggage. The wi-fi was terrible. Slow and spotty at best, and there are very few outlets, and no power strips. But I really disliked the DATA HARVESTING to get into the wi-fi. There's no need for DOB, gender, etc. just to get into wi-fi.

El hotel bien. Pero se ha de tener en cuenta que no dispone de recepción y el check in / out se hace en otro hotel de la misma cadena y que está cerca. No tiene ascensor. El aire acondicionado bien por el calor pero hace tanto ruido que por la noche tienes que apagarlo.

The hotel has much character and charm and is located very close to the main attractions in Sitges, and it is 7 minutes Walk from the beach. It is also very close to the main transport links to Barcelona. The train, bus and taxi service are at the end of the street with a great cafe and supermarket. It’s clean, it’s quiet and the staff were very helpful

This is an old building but the rooms are renovated and everything is new and clean. But what I liked most is how pleasant and helpful the staff have been at all times. Check in and out times are great plus the staff will do all they can to let you in if you arrive early. The location is perfect.

Very outdated property. There was ants on the walls in the bedrooms which I was not happy about. Other than the good location of the property, I would not recommend it to friends and family. However, staff was good during check in.

It's a lovely hotel with very grand rooms .... The staff were very friendly and the rooms were cleaned daily. I wouldn't want to stay in my particular room again (room 1) as it was right next to the main entrance to the hotel and wuite noisy withvthe door opening and closing constantly and all the people coming and going. But I would stay at the hotel again.

Decor is rather eccentric and fascinating, but I had room one next to the main entrance and it is Quite noisy with people coming in and out all through the night, Also, the window blinds did not shut properly so it’s not terribly private at night, but I have to say it is very good value for money and Alex on reception was really nice man

I've stayed at this hotel before and can recommend it. Central in Sitges. Close to the railway station. Lovely historic building with a nice patio. You can hear your neighbour talk through the wall, so if this bothers you - bring ear plugs. Very nice breakfast.

Greit hotell. Veldig lytt. Hører tydelig vanlige samtaler fra de på naborom. Litt hard seng men den fungerer. Ellers veldig bra. Rent å pent å hyggelig betjening. Frokost er ikke å anbefale da denne er noe overpriset.

Teleurstellend verblijf deze keer. Kamer 3 was koud door slecht werkende verwarming en warm water was na 5 minuten douchen op. Jammer.

Pour cause de grève de la SNCF (impossibilité de trouver une place dans un train pour faire le trajet Bretagne-Paris), j’ai dû annuler mon billet d’avion Paris-Barcelone : aéroport à 30 km de Sitges où se trouve cet hôtel que j’avais réservé. Lorsque j’ai voulu ensuite annuler ma réservation à l’hôtel, nous étions au delà de la date-limite pour que je sois remboursé à 100%. Néanmoins, j’ai fait valoir ce cas de force majeure qui rendait impossible mon voyage jusqu’à Barcelone puis Sitges en proposant que l’hôtel me crée un avoir à valoir pour un séjour ultérieur. On m’a opposé un refus catégorique. Alors que j’avais déjà été client dans cet hôtel, il est clair que je n’y retournerai jamais, tant on peut imaginer que même en produisant un certificat de décès, la direction ne saurait faire preuve d’aucune compassion pour proposer un geste commercial.

Only one key for 2 people told only one available but when I offered deposit 2nd key appeared as if by magic On the return of the 2nd key was told nothing in the system to say deposit paid!!! So no money could be returned I can only find 2 explanations 1. The guy I paid 30 euros to must have kept it? 2.the person on reception (rather full of her own importance) was hoping I would leave key then she could collect my 30 euros? I eagerly await an explanation My WARNING to other guests make sure you get a receipt as fortunately I did Cleaners very noisy in the mornings The last night noise from bar just down the road music and most customers out in the street shouting did not not stop until 03.25 So avoid a room facing the street

There was always plenty of hot water for showers, even for two people, which was great. However, one frustrating issue we experienced was with the room keys. They frequently deactivated, and after coming back in the evenings, we often had to walk up all the stairs only to find the key wouldn’t work—then wait for someone to let us in. We did make sure to keep the keys separate from everything else to avoid this, but it didn’t seem to help. Despite that, it’s a fabulous hotel overall, and I would definitely stay here again—though next time I’d probably book a room in the main Romantic hotel building.
We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were very polite and welcoming throughout our visit. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location, and for the price we paid, we really couldn’t complain. Decor is rather eccentric and fascinating, but I had room one next to the main entrance and it is Quite noisy with people coming in and out all through the night, Also, the window blinds did not shut properly so it’s not terribly private at night, but I have to say it is very good value for money and Alex on reception was really nice man

The hotel has a real challenge with its door system. As the hotel lays detached to the reception, you have to go to another hotel to fix your room card. In the end we were so annoyed that we got a normal key to at least be able to enter the main door without having the feeling to gamble. It feels like you are a bit forgotten in this annex. Which is really sad because we like our stays in the Medium group before. In addition you will not get the same treats like in the main house (like pastry next to the coffee machine). The coffee machine was in fact dangerous as you felt the electricity when you were touching the metal.

The hotel has much character and charm and is located very close to the main attractions in Sitges, and it is 7 minutes Walk from the beach. It is also very close to the main transport links to Barcelona. The train, bus and taxi service are at the end of the street with a great cafe and supermarket. It’s clean, it’s quiet and the staff were very helpful

This was our favorite stay during our trip to Spain. It had a lot of charm, friendly staff, and very walkable but not right on the main street so it was quiet and safe as well. We would definitely stay here again!

I've stayed at this hotel before and can recommend it. Central in Sitges. Close to the railway station. Lovely historic building with a nice patio. You can hear your neighbour talk through the wall, so if this bothers you - bring ear plugs. Very nice breakfast.

Shabby side of shabby chic. A grand old building in the centre of town. Reception at its sister hotel around the corner was fine. We had a nice terrace from our ground floor room and there's a roof terrace on the 3rd level which was very underused.

I loved the charming period hotel with lots of details. The location could not be better. The breakfast was outstanding, especially with the outdoor garden area. Be aware that this is a couple of historical houses and not everything is in one building. There are no elevators and the friendly staff is not always available to help with luggage. The wi-fi was terrible. Slow and spotty at best, and there are very few outlets, and no power strips. But I really disliked the DATA HARVESTING to get into the wi-fi. There's no need for DOB, gender, etc. just to get into wi-fi.

Great location in Sitges!! The hotel had a shared reception area that was down the street. It felt a bit detached from the main hotel with all the amenities- Hotel Medium Romantic!! If someone had been in the reception area and there was a small breakfast, it would have been better !!

Whilst we loved the age and charm of the hotel, having to walk to a neighbouring property for breakfast was not ideal. Only because the streets of Sitges are filthy! Dog mess, vomit and urine everywhere. Put one off eating. A very good selection of things to eat at the breakfast buffet. But I would suggest the hotel stops serving hot food - as you get it in a cold room (probably perfect in Summer) on very cold plates. Pointless. Further note - the photo's on the web description are decidedly out of date/not of the same hotel. As we checked out, I mentioned all of the above to the receptionist - who just told me to 'put it in writing'. So - here you go! Did I like it for the price - only just. Would I stay again - no.

Greit hotell. Veldig lytt. Hører tydelig vanlige samtaler fra de på naborom. Litt hard seng men den fungerer. Ellers veldig bra. Rent å pent å hyggelig betjening. Frokost er ikke å anbefale da denne er noe overpriset.

Beautiful hotel. But for some reason check-in takes place in the neighboring building. The room is excellent, clean, towels were changed every day. But you can hear everything that happens in the hall, because of this it is impossible to sleep in the morning. My reservation included breakfast, but it was not provided. Probably breakfast was served in the neighboring hotel, but I am not ready to get up in the morning and go to the neighboring building

Plein de charme cet hôtel désuet fait mon bonheur lors de mes séjours à Sitges. J'y suis client depuis 25 ans ! L'été je préfère l'hôtel voisin Romantic qui ferme l'hiver. Le petit-déjeuner est fabuleux. Le stationnement urbain payant qui se généralise oblige à garer sa voiture de plus en plus loin si on veut éviter d'alourdir la facture pour le séjour.

I thought the place was really cute when I arrived. It’s very traditional. The problem is that there’s no elevator and there is absolutely no help with the baggage and you have to walk up 50 or 60 stairs for to get to the second floor if you have heavy luggage is there is absolutely no help from the staff and upon asking they just simply saying the answer is NO. Upon asking twice she says it’s a one star hotel, and that they don’t have any services. It seems a bit better than a one star hotel. The breakfast is really nice. Typical European outside patio is nice. It’s pretty adequate overall. It’s just that I don’t like the fact that there is absolutely no help with anything. Also, the keys locked me out of the room two separate nights had to go back down to the desk, which is across the street to get them to re-code the keys in the middle of the night.

Prima hotel, authentiek, dus geen lift 😉. Ontbijtbuffet was fantastisch, heel compleet en zelfs tot 10:30 uur. Je kon buiten in de tuin of binnen in de airco zitten. Super snel gereageerd op een klacht. Echt top!
