I recently stayed here and I wouldn’t stay again. But you get what you pay for. My usual hotels were 800+ for two nights and this one was around 550. You have to pay $12 a day to park here. There are so many different elevators/walkways it’s very confusing. The waterpark closed at 5 when check in is at 4. None of the lazy rivers or kiddie pools were open. The bathroom in the room had dirty floor mats, the tub was dirty, the cabinet handles were broken. The only thing I liked is the rooms setup and decor. I liked that the den had a door you can close, since someone can sleep in there and have some privacy. I will just stick to the oceanfront hotels I know and I’ll pay the $5. (IYKYK)

Perfect location for my family with the water park, indoor & outdoor pools & lazy rivers for my grandkids to enjoy. My only 3 complaints are the elevators (1 was inoperable) during the morning hours were a nightmare & secondly, the running out of wash clothes. Tad of an inconvenience but nothing major. Lastly, i just wish the wristband situation was explained a little better. Overall, my wife & I will definitely be back with the grandkids again.

Great place to enjoy the beach, pool and water park. You can't walk to the boardwalk, if you want to go there necessary to drive. Very nice hotel. Outdoor pool have a dj playing music, great vibe.

We just got back from a short three night trip. We had a standard room which was perfect for our short stay. Overall our stay was great. We loved the amenities such as the indoor and outdoor pools and lazy rivers. The resort is also right on the beach which was great. They had a DJ playing music outside which we enjoyed. Location wise we loved being a four minute drive from the airport. We did not feel the need to rent a car. We do wish we stayed closer to the sky wheel and boardwalk but we used Ubers and it was not an huge inconvenience. Prices were fairly cheap and Ubers were readily available. The resort itself seems a little outdated. There was only one elevator that seemed to work so getting to and from the room would take over ten mins at times. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would probably stay somewhere else next time.

The trip was fine but the hotel was not. Half time there one elevator worked. The indoor pools are dirty and not well kept. Sand in the bottom of everyone and just stuff floating in it. Not sanitary. The rooms are dated but ok. The restaurants varies on what they actually could provide or if even open. Not worth the stay with no perks.

Our stay was just what we needed! The Landmark offers amenities for the whole family! SO many pools to choose from! The elevators SUCK. Literally the only complaint which every guest we had the joy of waiting for the elevator with had the exact same complaint. The bridge over to the parking deck is also a plus!

Over priced; very outdated; check in too late 4pm & very slow; water park closes too early 5:30pm ; extra fees; parking is too far; elevator slow and scary; onsite store not stocked; neighbor Walmart was near by; staff was friendly; lots of pools and hots tubs. My grandkids loved it! I felt like it was definitely over due for a renovation!

Indoor pools and hot tubs were closed! And outdoor lazy river! I wish I would have know, we would have stayed somewhere else. 60+ people in the pool and I stopped counting at 30+ in hot tub.

Every where inside and outside was very dirty and nasty to the point we didnt want to stay there. Sheets were dirty with hairs, tub nasty, pools and lazy river so dirty it was brown.

This place was ok. The lazy river pool was really dirty. The water was brown and you could see stuff in the water. The kiddy pools were dirty. All the pools were pretty nasty. The rooms were ok. Very Old and you could smell weed and old dust. Being on the beach front was very nice. The place is very old and needs some significant updates. But overall, it's Myrtle Beach. Everything is old.

The place is DIRTY!!! There is garbage, food, used qtips tissues, etc. all over the floors. The place smells like cigarettes & weed mixed with mildew and mold. The carpets in the rooms were damp, dirty, stained, and just disgusting. The stairwell in the parking garage smells of urine. There was hair in the bathroom sink & shower upon arrival and we immediately requested a new room but the new room wasn’t much better (it at least didn’t have trash or someone else’s hair). The blankets on the bed are of sheet thickness. If you get a double queen room- there are no queen beds, they are full beds. They only supplied 2 very small towels, 2 hand towels and 2 wash cloths. They didn’t supply any soap, shampoo or conditioner. They don’t have house keeping available at all per a piece of paper they gave us at check in). The water slides scratch up your back. The worst hotel we’ve ever been to. Save yourself& your money and find somewhere else to go. Don’t make the same mistake we did. The photos they have of the insides of their rooms online look NOTHING like the place in real life.

I have stayed here a few times. The past times were not bad except the bedding one time. This time... the room was FILTHY! I asked for blankets the first night and they told me they didnt have any. There were NONE on the bed nor the pull down bed for my children. I had to go out late at night and buy some after I was told they would bring some up to us. It was just ME AND MY TWO SMALL CHILDREN on a vacation and it was terrible! There was a staple on the floor that I found out by stepping on it. Told the staff the next morning but they asked why I didn't call the night before. I have two small children with me and couldn't even get a blanket for us! I booked two nights and my sister was gonna book the other two nights but after my own stay I told her I could not stay there another night. So disappointed. Took until 2:45 AM the NEXT morning to find a night to stay somewhere else because my children didnt want to end their one vacation for the year. For the price... its totally unacceptable. I could have stayed at the little run down hotel down the road for half the price and did have to and my children had an awesome time there. I also was told I was gonna be refunded and have NOT! There was also bugs in the room and the room we booked had a small kitchen which was very disgusting. I had to use all the towels to clean the floor after pulling out the distrainer to wash any dishes we were using. The staff was also disgusted when I checked out and showed them these photos.

Room smelled like sewage, had to switch rooms 4x to finally find 1 room to stay in. Hallways/ elevators were nasty with trash and dirty floors. Indoor lazy river was cloudy and nasty looking.

The Landmark Resort did not live up to my expectations at all. The description of the room I booked stated it would be a court yard view. The view was actually of the roof of what I am assuming was the convention center with heating/cooling units all over the top. The balcony and roof was littered with cigarette butts. When we stepped off the elevator, the rancid smell of mold and trash was enough to make you gag it was so bad. There was hair stuck to the walls in the bathroom. There is no daily housekeeping service. We had to ask for toliet paper daily since they would only allow you have have 1 roll of what had to be the cheapest toliet paper I have ever seen. We asked for clean towels and wash cloths and were told we could only have 2. While my family was at the indoor pool, we witnessed a man come through and grab another mans phone and backpack and take off running and jumped the fence outside. There were other visitors that attempted to assit in stopping the thief, but he was apparently very skilled at his chosen career path and got away. The security guard seemed to have a look of here we go again on his face once he arrived. The night we arrived it was 3 am and the guests upstairs had their music blaring. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience and I would not recommend to anyone.

The room was dirty, had to by a swiffer mop to clean the room after arrival due to sandy and black floors with constant water seeping through the floor. The odor coming from behind the trundle bed smelt like pure BO. One elevator did not work properly, for a non smoking facility, couldn’t hardly sit on the balcony for the smell of marajuana. No room service cleaning, have to take your own trash out, and pay for daily parking on top of the resort cost. Check in/out staff was very rude, and non-communicative. Have stayed at the landmark several times in the past, but this will definitely be the last.

I would not choose to stay here again. The property feels dated and in need of significant renovations, more like a budget motel than a quality hotel. In my opinion, it’s closer to a 2–3 star experience at best. Cons: A huge hole in bathroom door Visible rust on shower bars and door hinges Pools were not well-maintained and appeared dirty No room service available after 5 p.m. The property looks very different from the promotional photos Overall décor and facilities are outdated Pros: Large televisions in the rooms Beds were comfortable While the few positives were appreciated, they weren’t enough to offset the outdated facilities and lack of upkeep.

The resort was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We booked 2 rooms and one of the rooms was outdated with old carpet and there was an air purifier placed in the room. The other room was updated with hardwood floor and was very nice.

We loved our stay. It was perfect for the price. It wasn’t the most updated but it was super clean and the beds were probably the most comfortable I have ever had at a hotel. Definitely loved the easy access to the beach. We would definitely stay again.

Overall I thought it was a good stay. Our room was clean, I do think the room needed some updating and the beds were pretty hard but the room was decent. The only other problem was one of the elevators in the parking deck didn't work and with all the people using them it took forever to get to where you needed to be. The outdoor areas were decent and the indoor pool.

Everything was great except my bed. It was hard i could only sleep 2 hrs then start hurting. But the 1 of 5 hottubes helped that.

The furniture in the room definitely needs ti be replaced! Couch was nasty and the recliner has been better days the back was falling off. Loved the veiw from the balcony. That was probably the only thing I liked about the whole place. Didn't want to get in the pools they were pretty gross too. The whole place needs a deep cleaning.

Many things in the suite were damaged including the refrigerator, toilet, table. There were roaches dead and alive in the room. Not a ton but they were there. The manager Sherman was very responsive but his manager never followed up to have us moved or comped another night as we were sharing the rooms with a family of critters. The amenities are great the breakfast bar was dried out and looked recycled for almost $25 each and that was disappointing.

On first day after check in, called desk and reported that bottom sheet had large tear in it; hair dryer did not work and couldn't determine how to work safe. Staff never entered room to fix anything reported; had to put trash in hall; had to go to cart to get towels; staff not friendly or attentive, on check in, even though had reservation had to wait in line around 1 hour; when checking out staff made no effort to show me where the luggage cart was and watched as I made several trips to the room to get luggage; not enough chairs in lazy river area; no attempt made by staff to get chairs; never very much staff present in lazy river or pool area; a lot of parents just seemed to let their children run around by themselves

Unfortunately there must have been just a huge turnover and we didn’t check our rooms until 4.5 hours after pre-check in and 2.5 hours after standard check in. We had to wait in line for an hour the first time and 30-40min the 2 additional times until finally getting our rooms. If I had to guess, I’d say maybe more house cleaning staff is needed during the weekend turnover. Other than that and a fair amount of trash in/around pools presumably from guests, it was good. I would not even give a one star. I would never ever recommend this establishment to anyone even if it was for free. They don’t communicate well. The photos are old. The rooms and hallways are inhabitable. I tried to be patient, check in was horrible, long lines, and very unaccommodating. I refused my first room and they gave me a second room and it was just as disgusting. There were plenty of people at the front desk complaining about issues. All they said was they would do what they can to help, in which they did not. I wasted a whole 5-6 hours and I refused to stay so I said I would like a refund if not for the first day, then for the remainder of the stay. I was refused the refund and had to go to a different place to be treated with the upmost respect and dignity that I could have received. My children said please do not let us ever book at that landmark resort ever. Let’s also talk about the so called waterpark, that thank goodness we did not use, nasty and dirty and which closed at 4. So the website has false information, the pictures are old, the bad reviews are true and don’t even exactly detail how inaccurate they display information on the site. I hope with the money they took away from my children’s vacation is even an inch of some much needed improvements that they need. I would say they should start from scratch. Shame on them for the way they treat their customers and the fact that they would not consider a refund is even worse. Worse establishment ever!!!!

The room was dirty, had to by a swiffer mop to clean the room after arrival due to sandy and black floors with constant water seeping through the floor. The odor coming from behind the trundle bed smelt like pure BO. One elevator did not work properly, for a non smoking facility, couldn’t hardly sit on the balcony for the smell of marajuana. No room service cleaning, have to take your own trash out, and pay for daily parking on top of the resort cost. Check in/out staff was very rude, and non-communicative. Have stayed at the landmark several times in the past, but this will definitely be the last.

We stayed here while in town for a basketball tournament. The location is only minutes away from John Rhodes’s Sports Center. The pools provided relaxation for the players. The staff was personable and friendly. Nice family atmosphere.

We just got back from a short three night trip. We had a standard room which was perfect for our short stay. Overall our stay was great. We loved the amenities such as the indoor and outdoor pools and lazy rivers. The resort is also right on the beach which was great. They had a DJ playing music outside which we enjoyed. Location wise we loved being a four minute drive from the airport. We did not feel the need to rent a car. We do wish we stayed closer to the sky wheel and boardwalk but we used Ubers and it was not an huge inconvenience. Prices were fairly cheap and Ubers were readily available. The resort itself seems a little outdated. There was only one elevator that seemed to work so getting to and from the room would take over ten mins at times. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would probably stay somewhere else next time.

Pros: This was a good value, families were there having so much fun and for a great price! There were many pools to choose from and the mini waterpark was nice and new. They have Starbucks coffee in the lobby, great snack bar at the pool, awesome Italian ice serviced at the pool, and a restaurant, plus the service was friendly all over the property! The pools are clean but old so the bottoms look brown or muddy, but the worst part of our stay and probably the reason we will never return is the strong smell of mildew and probably mold in our room. It was so strong that we all smelled of it, and the smell came home in the car with us. It was DISGUSTING and unsanitary. If it wasn’t for the smell, this place would rock… maybe it was just our room but I doubt it. Also the curtains in the bedroom are short and let light in from the hallway… it was weird. Also the area surrounding the property, like a few blocks up or down is the straight up ghetto. We were trying to go to a pizza place near by, but abandoned the idea due to the surroundings.

I went to this hotel for the weekend. I am from New York. The first room they gave me. Had towels all over the floor and pizza boxes in the sink. The next room was ok but the kitchen light kept cutting off. The lazy river didint work. The hot tubs water was brown. There is no room service and we didn’t have any wash rags and face towels. Never again!!!! Plus only one restaurant was open for dining.

I was not happy with the condition of the room. It wasn't very clean. It had an old dirty carpet and it smelled. The furniture in the room was very old and stained. The light in the kitchen inconsistently worked. I was really disappointed with the room. Elevators were very slow and crowded. one person we know got stuck in the elevator. The hall and elevator floors were wet and slippery from the pool and beach traffic. Only one restaurant on site. We went only one night because the service was terrible.

Wasn’t too impressed, room wasn’t like the pictures a little outdated, pillow cases were dirty, tub was dirty. Elevators were always hot and dirty hallways always smelled and water everywhere. A lot of the ice machines were out of order. But we enjoyed the bar and the food from the bar. Front desk was kind. Very convenient to the beach.

Im a person that reads all the reviews before i book a hotel. This is my honest opinion, are room has ocean view, a full refrigerator, we had towls,wash clothes. There was a little kitchen nuk with a sink and a microwave, there was plates, bowls,spoons and forks. I read reviews about mold and bed bugs are room had none of that. Check in was about 20 minutes, there is no housekeeping to clean while your there, if you call down to the front desk they will bring you everything you need, place your trash outside your door and they will pick it up. Parking is behide the slide area. The pools were clean. They up at 9am til 11pm, there is a bar inside and a bar by the pool. We had a good time here, we stayed a week.

The front desk staff was rude, the restaurant inside was out of most items on the menu, the designated smoking areas had no shaded areas leaving guests outside in the baking sun (the area weather was under a heat dome with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees). Will not go back to this hotel.

We loved it. We loved the pools, the lazy rivers and our room. The only thing we didn't like to much is how expensive their breakfast was but it's to be expected with it being at the beach

The staff is friendly and very helpful. I was surprised how quick the check in was considering how busy it was. The restaurants and bars were all open and very good food for a reasonable price. The rooms was dated but clean. If I could change anything about the place it would be to upgrade all rooms. It’s to nice of a resort to have 2000s curtains and no comforters on the beds

Where do I start? It was horrible pictures definitely taken a long time ago when maybe the room was done, carpet is dirty and holes and stained at other sections ! Refrigerator didn’t work I message about it and they claimed it was unplugged but it wasn’t they didn’t fix it also microwave didn’t work ! Bathtub was so dirty I need it to buy a runner so I could shower otherwise I would have to shower elsewhere with the fear of getting fungus on my feet. They claimed they came to clean and fix but did nothing ! So this place has been so horrible I actually stayed another hotel for one of the nights ! And the renter wouldn’t even talk about a compensation for everything that was wrong ! Would not recommend to even be listed on your site !

Stay was good except that the hot and cold water were hooked up backwards in the shower. Pools were good rooms were good. Have stayed here multiple times and love it.
