This is a great place to stay in the heart of Arroya within minutes of the train station. The room we had was absolutely spotless and looked like it had been recently updated. Towels were fluffy and white and changed every day. Sheets were changed every three days and were sparkling white. Wifi was good and no charge. The bathroom was lovely and clean with a good powerful shower and plenty of hot water. Toiletries were supplied every day. The staff were all very friendly and there was someone on reception 24 hours a day. Sattelite TV was provided in the room. You can have breakfast in the bar/cafe but you are very close to several excellent cafes if you prefer to eat out.

It is located in the heart of everything and walking distance to the beach and has easy access to trains and buses. The rooms are small and it can be a little noisy in the hallways when people are coming and going, but otherwise it is a great little place to stay and perfectly priced. Would happily stay in the future. Wished they had a communial microwave and coffee maker but not essential for short stays.

I've stayed at the Sol y Miel many times. The recent refurbishment especially in reception and bar areas is very good and a nice place to sit and relax. As always the staff are very helpful and friendly which made our stay a pleasurable experience.

Excellent place to stay. Minutes from the station and right in the centre of town so close to all the shops, cafes and restaurants. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. Good WiFi. Plenty of hot water and a good powerful shower. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Would certainly recommend if you want to be in the town rather than on the seafront.

Just a bit pricey for a room with no real view, tea making facilities. Kettle would’ve been fine we could’ve provided our own tea. Great friendly staff though.

Det var veldig lytt der. Jeg fikk ikke balkong pga. at det var fullbooket. Jeg bodde der i 5 netter. Mange folk som løp i trappene og smelte i dørene mellom midnatt og 02. Slitsomt. Det var ikke kjøleskap på rommet, så det var ikke optimalt.

Its a pretty basic room, with thin walls. Which is to be expected from a hostel. Theres a really uncomfortable wooden chair. Garden chairs would have been an upgrade. I was working my day job from the room and its internet connection. My work was interrupted after the wifi password expired. And I had to go to the reception and get a new one (it automaticly expires after 1 week. Nobody told me about this). That system is inconvenient. Make it expire on check out date. The bed and pillow (yes 1 flat long pillow) gave me back pain if I slept for too long. I even slept on top of the duvet. It was still painful for my back. The cleaning crew are constantly knocking on the door. And sometimes they just walk straight in, no knocking or anything. As I was working from home during the afternoon, evening and nights, I constantly had to tell them "no thank you". Please get a "do not disturb sign" It would have saved me alot of interactions.

Great location, great room for the price but the walls are so thin that if someone flushes the toilet anywhere else in the hotel you hear it. I was on the top floor and could still hear staff talking during the night on the bottom floor.

Excellent place to stay. Minutes from the station and right in the centre of town so close to all the shops, cafes and restaurants. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. Good WiFi. Plenty of hot water and a good powerful shower. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Would certainly recommend if you want to be in the town rather than on the seafront.

Well maintained and beautiful property. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and room was spotless. It is located in the heart of everything and walking distance to the beach and has easy access to trains and buses. The rooms are small and it can be a little noisy in the hallways when people are coming and going, but otherwise it is a great little place to stay and perfectly priced. Would happily stay in the future. Wished they had a communial microwave and coffee maker but not essential for short stays.

I've stayed at the Sol y Miel many times. The recent refurbishment especially in reception and bar areas is very good and a nice place to sit and relax. As always the staff are very helpful and friendly which made our stay a pleasurable experience.

La verdad un hostal bastante recomendable. El servicio muy amable, limpio y buen descanso. Lo único que en las descripciones aparece que estaba a 10 minutos de la playa cuando en realidad está a 20, y cuando vas cargado se te hace duro. This is a great place to stay in the heart of Arroya within minutes of the train station. The room we had was absolutely spotless and looked like it had been recently updated. Towels were fluffy and white and changed every day. Sheets were changed every three days and were sparkling white. Wifi was good and no charge. The bathroom was lovely and clean with a good powerful shower and plenty of hot water. Toiletries were supplied every day. The staff were all very friendly and there was someone on reception 24 hours a day. Sattelite TV was provided in the room. You can have breakfast in the bar/cafe but you are very close to several excellent cafes if you prefer to eat out.

The location of this hostel was the best possible! It was in the heart of Benalmadena, near to railway station and bus stop. The hostel was in quite old building, but our room was very silent and clean and there was comfortable beds and clean bedlinen. . Furniture was traditional spanish ( no Ikea!) and there was tv in the room. There was a small balcony, too wich was a nice addition. Under our balcony was walking street, so no noice in the night. Staff was friendly and price was ok, so we do not need anything more .

Fantastiskt läge (om man inte är ute efter stranden förstås), mitt på en charmig gågata några få minuter från tågstationen. MEN, tänk på att det är lyhört. Har du ont av att höra när andra gäster pratar i korridorerna, om du behöver komma i säng tidigt eller att det hörs när någon spolar på natten, då kanske du ska fundera på om detta boende är för dig. Jag var supernöjd och kommer definitivt att boka här igen om jag ska besöka denna del av Spanien igen.

This is a budget hotel and great value for a central location close to the trai. Station. Rooms come with aircon, cleaned daily and most have a balcony. There is a small elevator in the building which is helpful. Rooms also have a tv but there is no safe or fridge. Rooms were clean but pillows were extremely hard. It suited me but I know it would be uncomfortable for a lot of people . I would stay again due to location and value for money.

This Hotel is perfect if you want to be near the train station from Malaga airport and be able to get food and drink in the local restaurants until midnight. We always stay here if we have a late inbound flight as it's easy! The rooms are basic but clean and it's quiet although it's very central. Staff are helpful. Air con is good. Shower pressure good. Comfortable beds. Nice little balcony. Continental breakfast available if you wish for it. Midday check out too. It's all good
