We loved the e-bikes! Really nice way to see the town. We enjoyed our meal at the restaurant and empire coffee shop. We used the gym too which had everything for a good workout. Keep up the great job.

Love this town Coffee shop —AMAZING Lake path runs -awesome Sunday brunch-unique and delicious This hotel is lovely with large rooms and great beds Location can’t be beat. Walk up the hill to dinner or enjoy the path along the lake.

I booked for a funeral, I was a speaker and had to drive for 2 days to get to Nelson. Figured I’d splurge since it was a sad trip, and wanted to be well rested. My first night I was woken up by the alarm at 5 am, I guess from the last guests.. I couldn’t figure out how to stop it until I got up completely.. and then that was it for the nights rest. Then that night- after the funeral, there was a MASSIVE bachelorette party across from my room. The music was blaring, there was a giant clear plastic bag full of empty white claws and Champaign bottles.. eventually staff came and asked them to please be quiet as it was after 9 am, and they said they’d “ok be quiet after 10pm” and slammed the door in the staffs face. As it wasn’t getting any quieter I asked if I could please have a different room. Which they gave me.. but sadly it was only a couple doors down, and under their room, so I couldn’t open the door for fresh air without all the music coming into my room.. sadly I did not enjoy my stay. I thought I’d spend the extra money and at least have a nice place to come crash at after burying my best friend.. and at least I could charge my Tesla with the only charger in town- hassle free.. but that also wasn’t working.
