Very slow wifi, no mini fridge, unclean, vending machines not stocked

No frigde in the rooms. No microvave in the rooms. The commercial on line shows microvave and a frigde but in reality it was a dis appointment. Was soo shock about the situation with such a hot weather.

We had to clean upon arrival. Could not reach anyone at the Front desk most of the time. No refrigerator or microwave as shown in photos.

The phrase, "you get what you pay for" was made doe this hotel. Shower head leaked, the tub appeared to be deteriorating under our feet. Towels were only somewhat changed out. Only soap, so bring your own shampoo and conditioner. Safe was not operational. All staff encountered were pleasant and a short walk to the bus to the metro. Also wifi did not seem to work. But it was cheap.

Photos are false. Mold in Airconditioner. Furniture broken and missing drawers. Shower didn't work, wall paper and ceiling peeling. Staff from the Days inn needed to check me in because Travelodges lobby was torn apart. Hopefully for renovations, unlikely.

Best travelodge I’ve stayed at. Great central location, nice up kept rooms. A little confusing on the office location but great overall stay for what I needed.

Microwave and refrigerator were not present in the room. Did not get king bed that was reserved in booking.

The lobby of the Travelodge appeared to be abandoned, with a badly faded, hand-written sign on the door that said to check in at the Days Inn (which occupied part of the same building)- it was nearly impossible to make out the "Days Inn", frankly I was just lucky I had noticed the Days Inn on the way in and was able to guess that the barely-visible remnants of a few letters might be spelling that. I arrived late at night, and would have been stranded in a rather sketchy-looking motel parking lot if I hadn't figured it out. The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and the shower floor was cracked and broken (not in a way that leaked or anything, just in a way that made it clear that maintenance and repair was not a top priority). The bedsheets were fine when I checked in, but I noticed some small stains on them after housekeeping came by the next day, which was quite odd. Fortunately, my personal standards aren't especially high- I was in town for a concert and some museum-going and really just wanted a bed to sleep in for a couple of nights and a bathroom to use, and it at least met those needs... at least, it did once I managed to piece together where to check in, which really shouldn't be a challenge. The fact that the sign telling me where to go to check in was barely legible was truly baffling- who oversees this property? Have they visited any time in the past 5 years? It would have taken some time for the sign to fade like that, and it's a pretty obvious issue.

The property does not exist, vacant, no office redirected to the Day's in which was equally as bad, cancelled all of my reservations.

Was supposed to be Travel Lodge. Ended up staying at Days Inn. We stayed in a room that was slated to be renovated. The fridge was outside the room being replaced. So we didn't have one. The shower curtain was hanging off the bracket allowing water to get all over the bathroom floor. The carpet had was super gross. Should have been replaced years ago. Overall, one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in.

As soon as I walked into our room, there were cockroaches running across the walls.

It was nothings like it was presented on the site. The place is unsafe and filthy I have stayed and 100's of hotels I travel for work this is far worst I have ever booked we didn’t stay we left after we seen the room 1 no a/c 2nd room no bathroom door and smelling or mold and urine 3rd room they changed us to filty sheets and no covers and the 4th room couldn't get in cause the occupant in the next room let himself into the room they were switching us to and yelled at us for trying to get to the room and when you try to get a refund for the place being so feilty and unsafe they will try to charge you extra and say that since you went into the room you have used it and will not refund you ur money do not stay there you will probably get sick how disgusting and filthy it is I had to checkin at the Day's Inn next door cause they didn’t have a office for the Travel Lodge or I call it Travel Dodge please do not stay you would have it better at a homeless shelters homeless people would've left cause how terrible it is.

This hotel was horrible. Room was filthy and smelled of urine. Bed was so uncomfortable that we had to sleep at head of bed and foot of bed. We only stayed one night because we couldn’t find another hotel. In the morning when leaving 2 huge rats ran out of drainpipe by our car. This hotel needs to be demolished.

Absolutely disgusting. I have stayed in several places across the country and this is by far the WORST ive stayed at.. door looked as if it has been kicked in. Toilet didnt function correctly. Dirty sheets. Roaches running up the walls.

It was very disappointing to see roaches and mice in our room and around the facility. Therefore we left and stayed somewhere else

Filthy. Bathtub had a cigarette puncture in it. Even saw a cockroach!! It was disgusting!

There was a dead rat Infront the lobby that stayed there for days! Paint was stripping from the ceiling and door. No mini fridge or microwave. Mold! Black bold was in the bathroom! The room smelt horrible. There were cockroaches! It was a real ****hole. Worst place I have ever stayed at a Travelodge, and I'm not picky. Run! Run! Do not book!

The rooms are extremely dirty, the toilet was broken, couldn’t flush, the carpet was very wet, the room smell bad, worst hotel room ever stayed in. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Staff was ok.

From the outside it seemed ok, walking up to the room you can clearly see it’s very poorly taken care of. Finding our room was difficult because the numbers were crazy. When we figured out how to get to the other side to locate our room a HUGE rat ran by us, this wouldn’t have been a issue if not for the fact we were in a area with rooms on both sides of us. People were standing outside smoking in odd places, that shouldn’t have felt odd, but the way they watched us gave strange vibes. Once in the room it was so nasty. The desk broken. Holes all over the door frame. The bathroom was so gross. Black specks on towels. The fridge didn’t work. Microwave was so outdated. We looked at the sheets and they had stains on them. We then heard people (probably the smokers, but no idea and didn’t wanna find out) start having a whole yelling fight outside. We ended up leaving after 20 minutes we didn’t feel safe or comfortable. We booked a different hotel 12 minutes away and the difference that 12 minutes and maybe $100 more made was amazing. I will say tho the lady at the counter was not rude at all she wasn’t like amazingly kind but she didn’t seem upset at us for leaving rather very understanding.

I think this place is simply being kept open while it waits for the wrecking ball. I tend to stay in "business inn" type places, where I'm far more comfortable than in a hotel. But this was a new low. The staff were great, and the room cleaned more often than the every third day listed on the mirror. But aside from that . . . large chips out of the walls, the dresser was missing a drawer, the handle of another, and the third wouldn't open. The light on one side of the bed wouldn't work, and the whole thing actually rotated and hung down when I tried to make sure the bulb was snug. The bathroom light would shut off for a second or so out of every several once it warmed up after a few minutes. The power sockets in the lamp desk didn't work. And so forth.

Like: economical rate. Did not like: very weak intermitent WIFI signal; floor not vaccumed; bathtub water tap exceedingly tight(should be replaced); no shampoo; overall physical condition of the hotel looks worn-out.

The area was very quiet. The beds comfortable pillows were small half size of standard pillows. Bathroom door did not lock. Room had no chair .

The condition was poor tv didn’t work the front desk never will answer, they took my pizza i ordered the delivery driver supposed to came to the room door but went to front desk i went and said did my food come they said no but looked out the window and seen the driver try to wave him down he didn’t see me. And i don’t know if you got bed bugs but my last night i woke up my arms was itching tremendously i almost went to da hospital and I’m feeling my arms it’s a-lot of bites going from top to bottom and its false advertisement from what i seen on the internet and the wifi kept giving me issues i didn’t take pictures because i was just going let it b but then i got this email and maybe you can upgrade for the next guest

The room in poor condition and the keys won’t work well in the door slot.

The bathroom had mildew on the ceiling and in the corners of the tub. I chae NOT to shower. The toilet was brand new. This was the only new thing in the room. The TV had lines through the picture and there weren't enough working outlets. Lastly, I had booked a single King bed, but was put in a 2 double bed room. It was too much of an ordeal to move rooms, since we arrived at 1am.

Not happy at all. Rooms run down and dirty. Woke up with roaches in my shoes. They say you get what you pay for I would not have paid 20 dollars for this room. I have stayed at better priced places in much better condition. Expedia check out says noon house keeping was knocking on my door at 10:38 telling me I missed 10 am check out. Fridge did not work. Door jam looks like someone tried to kick in the door.

The hotel is under renovations so hopefully it will be better. It looks very dated from the outside.The bathrooms are tiny, and the door didn't close right. The beds are very hard. There were little gnats in the room- not a lot, just a couple but annoying. The people were very nice, and tried their best to help us.

Went to check out and no one at desk. Waited 15 minutes and called front desk with no answer. Another guest and I just left the key with message “checked out”

My experience was horrible. The first room I received was occupied. The second room didn’t have any of the amenities I requested and there were flies everywhere.

I would not recommend this place. I checked in and checked out right away. I chose it because my usual hotel and back up hotels were fully booked. This Travelodge had the Wyndham name and I used to work for Wyndham and trusted the name. I guess Wyndham has really lowered their standards. The outside of the property was in disrepair and dirty. The room had a weird smell and did not seem clean. Too bad I had prepaid and was told I couldn’t get a refund.

The room was clean, the staff was friendly! Only issue is the room didnt have microwave or refrigerator!

Did not have my reservation after I already paid. Had to wait an hour while they manually entered a reservation and then, the following day, my key card would not work. Plaster falling from the ceiling in Travel Lodge room 311. No recourse from either Expedia or Travel Lodge. Terrible experience. I will not ise Expedia in the future.

Nothing is good and receptionist was rudely said to my wife calling police because she said we entered our room 103 Days Inn 1 st of October 2023 yesterday/we just checked out today 11 40 /the receptionist called to our room yesterday we have to leave our room she told to my wife we entered our room without permission, which is rude and lie.

The beds were very comfortsable. We got what we paid for. Convenient to Metro stop and restaurants.

Are you the cheapest person that you know? If so this motel may be for you. I needed cheap, walking distance to metro, clean sheets, tv, running water, and electricity. If you expect anything more do not stay here.

The outside area was extremely sketchy. But we proceeded to check in. Arrived at rooms (2) and was horrified. Someone was already occupying in one room and the other had only bottom sheets and no top sheet or blanket. Room smelled. We went immediately to get refund processed and left.

There was warm water throughout, the toilet was good abd clean that using allowing someone to use little water efficiently, the room was big but not attractive the AC was not working, no refrigerator in the room, no microwave in the room, the microwave was one located in shared at the lobby but also was not working!!! The reception was smelling badly!!! Like the sewages or airhole left unattended throughout, the ladies at the lobby was protecting themselves with the masks throughout due to bad smell at he reception, although the toilets were clean.....there is no breakfast close to hotel you should walk around 10 to 15 minutes to find restaurants, there is no transport around, and metro station is located around 15 to 20minutesvwalk, so with bags becomes more challenging, i won't advise anyone to stay in this hotel unless major renovation is done, not worth it, and not healthy, not inspired at all.

Overall the room was clean, quiet and everything worked, we had appointments in downtown Washington DC and the location for this hotel was good, easy route and traffic was not bad. The price and location was very good for our purpose.

I don't recommend anyone to stay there, especially if you don't smoke or you're just a girl. I booked a non-smoking room and got a room that smelled of marijuana. After my complaint, they changed the room, but that one was even worse, and the hallway smelled of urine.. (sorry). I didn't feel safe there (and I'm a strong middle-aged man). There is one plus, I realized that you shouldn't save on a hotel 😁

good location, great public transit options, and several stores within walking distance. But wifi stopped working on my day-2 and was down for 2 days.

The hotel is worn out and needs to be remodeled. Peeling paint, leak in ceiling, filthy carpeting, peeling tub surface, no in room amenities, such as coffee, no coffee in the lobby either, sleeping hotel clerk at 7 am, stair wells were filthy.

Trashy hotel, didn't even want to take a shower. I booked a room with a refrigerator but the actual room did not have one. Vending machine didn't work.

The worst ever! Place was dirty, lacking basic amenities and supplies. Finishes on walls and furniture were shabby. No ice, no coffee, no internet. Sheets were badly stained. The place needs to be closed for renovation or demolished.

From the moment we opened the room door we wanted to leave. The door didn't shut properly. The carpets were filthy. The wallpaper was peeling off. Sockets were hanging off the wall. The shower was broken and ran hot water constantly all night long and made the bathroom a sauna. No coffee/tea facilities. We felt very unsafe as other rooms had been broken in to. We didn't sleep and checked out the next morning asking for a full refund! This property should not be open to the public!
