Our day was disappointing to say the least. Arrived at the hotel lobby and the first thing you saw was the public bathroom that was “closed“ and the limited seating look worn and stained. Went up to the room and the floor was visibly dirty. One of the first thing my wife does when we go to hotel is check the sheets for bed bugs. Lifted the sheets to see that the quilted mattress cover was worn with significant holes on both side sides of the bed. However, there were no bed bugs. Bed was uncomfortable and contained four pillows that looked like little squares. Bathroom did appear to be recently updated. However, the quality of the update made the shower stalls very narrow. Air condition is a wall unit and was noisy, which is to be expected, However, when it blew cold air the air smelt musty and damp. A very limited breakfast was put out each morning (no eggs or bacon, just cereal, sliced bread, and pre-packaged muffins and yogurt,. The fruit looked several days old. And you could tell that the bread from the first morning of our stay was served again on the second morning and was all the more stale. Plastic utensils were so cheap you could not spread butter with the knife or spoon. While the room was reasonably priced, they were certainly plenty of other hotels in the area whose accommodations are definitely nicer, but marginally more expensive. In short, spend a little more, don’t stay here. Nothing quality about this Quality Inn.
