Beautifully appointed and situated hotel at premier Positano location, on the beach near the ferry wharf. Nice bar and restaurant, classy breakfast room in the water . Maria in the breakfast room makes you feel at home . Rosario , of the waiting staff, is wonderful. The front desk staff is always attentive, even before arriving with responsive emails. We could not have asked for more.

Location, 3 pools, views, food, and staff all excellent. The room and bathrooms were large enough for travel with 2 kids and the balcony was a treat to unwind in the evenings. Watching the fireworks and views of the beach and town are amazing.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. We were in a basic room and it worked great for what we needed. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. The breakfast spread is awesome and the pool is amazing as well. My only negative thing to say is we got two massages and they charge you an arm and leg for them and they come to your room to do them. We had a very small room so they brought us to a bathroom upstairs and the lights couldn’t be turned off. So for 180 euros I wouldn’t say the massage was worth it at all. But they did their best. The location is excellent when wanting to be close to the beach but you will have to climb stairs to get to the hotel and to do anything else. The only downfall to the location and the basic rooms is you are right in the heart of it so it’s extremely noisy at night. There’s a club across the way and can hear the music, people outside yelling at all hours and they come to do some sort of bottle pickup & drop off seems like anytime from 2:00 am to 6:00 am and it’s super loud. Other than that we would definitely stay here again no doubt!

Great property and right next to the beach and ferry dock area. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. But a serious hike up the hill if you made reservations too far up. Be aware. Parking is at Gennaro Garage and space is limited there and all over Positano, so we spent the money on a taxi from Napoli and it was worth it. Had no reason to have a car. The view from the balconies looking over the water and up the hillside is outstanding. The service by the hotel staff is as quick as we have ever received anywhere. Daily breakfast was top notch and with the same view. Great pool and bar area. Their business center room has the most ridiculously beautiful view of the bay and hills that I can’t imagine anyone getting any work done in there. Loved Covo dei Saraceni. :)

Wonderful stay, couldn’t have asked for anything better. Pool area is gorgeous, we ended up spending most of our time lounging on the pool deck. Service was impeccable, every single employee went above and beyond to make it a fantastic stay. Room was a great size and beautiful - clean, comfortable bed, well air conditioned, gorgeous views. Only minor complaint is our room seemed especially loud at night and in the morning, some of it seemed like loud pipes but just general working hotel noise seemed very loud in the morning, banging and clanging of things, loud talking, etc. Rooms are not soundproofed the best which is expected with older buildings, but was still a bummer, we did not have the quiet peaceful mornings exactly. Our room was on floor 2, the furthest from the center so perhaps that was it, that on the edge we caught more noise from back rooms or higher floors. Overall it didn’t massively impact our stay, was a bit annoying but we’re still thrilled we stayed here and will definitely be returning. Location is excellent, short walk to everything and no uphill climb after the beach, you just walk back in the front door which is basically next to the beach.

Clean, large nice rooms with balcony overlooking the bay and Positano.10 minutes after we got into our nice room staff came serving a bottle of prosecco on the house to celebrate. We booked anniversary dinner at the hotels restaurant and had a nice evening with great food and a nice table overlooking the bay and the promenade. Pool was nice and preferred over the beach. Reccomend to take one of the day trips to explore Amalfi and the coast.

Amazing property. We absolutely loved this hotel, the best location in town, very comfortable beds, clean rooms, delicious food, incredible sea views.The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is right beside the port so we were able to just jump on ferry for quick day trips. We travelled Italy for 10 days staying a various hotels along the way and this one is hands down our most favorite! We highly recommend!!

Loved this hotel! Located ON THE BEACH! In the walking section of old Town. Staff, all of them, excellent. Especially Rosario in the bar, Alexandra Concierge, gino front desk mgr. Room spotless, large balcony w seating, comfortable beds. Located right at the ferry dock so we didn't have to haul luggage up a bazillion stairs to a taxi (hotel also has porters to do that. If you taxiing here, i Hightower recommend the baggage porter both ways!

property is old and has a musty smell in the room. the hotel is right on the beach in a very noisy area. i suggest having ear plugs in the room and a hair dryer. otherwise hotel is excellent with superior service.

Great property and right next to the beach and ferry dock area. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. But a serious hike up the hill if you made reservations too far up. Be aware. Parking is at Gennaro Garage and space is limited there and all over Positano, so we spent the money on a taxi from Napoli and it was worth it. Had no reason to have a car. The view from the balconies looking over the water and up the hillside is outstanding. The service by the hotel staff is as quick as we have ever received anywhere. Daily breakfast was top notch and with the same view. Great pool and bar area. Their business center room has the most ridiculously beautiful view of the bay and hills that I can’t imagine anyone getting any work done in there. Loved Covo dei Saraceni. :)

Service was impeccable, every single employee went above and beyond to make it a fantastic stay. Room was a great size and beautiful - clean, comfortable bed, well air conditioned, gorgeous views. Only minor complaint is our room seemed especially loud at night and in the morning, some of it seemed like loud pipes but just general working hotel noise seemed very loud in the morning, banging and clanging of things, loud talking, etc. Rooms are not soundproofed the best which is expected with older buildings, but was still a bummer, we did not have the quiet peaceful mornings exactly. Our room was on floor 2, the furthest from the center so perhaps that was it, that on the edge we caught more noise from back rooms or higher floors. This is a beautiful hotel and we feel we found a gem. Our incredibly big room (junior suite) was very comfortable and overlooked the beach, which was a bustling hub of activity. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend this hotel. Loved it.

The Covo dei Saraceni hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The rooms are very big for European standards with AC. The rooms and hotel are very clean. The staff is beyond friendly especially at the pool and at breakfast. The pool is gorgeous and you have the best views. The location is prime to all restaurants, shopping, the beach and boats. It’s a short walk from the parking garage but well worth it!

The 6 night stay at Covo was great. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Maria at the restaurant along side her the manager greeted us and served us with so much love and care every morning. We had a great stay overall and Mainly because of the staff’s hospitality, good food and proximity to the beach. Will visit again.

Amazing property. We absolutely loved this hotel, the best location in town, very comfortable beds, clean rooms, delicious food, incredible sea views.The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is right beside the port so we were able to just jump on ferry for quick day trips. We travelled Italy for 10 days staying a various hotels along the way and this one is hands down our most favorite! We highly recommend!!

It was nice having the property near the port. But having construction done right outside our balcony was horrible. The management only cares about making the dollar. We needed to leave early due to a family emergency. We booked for 5 nights and left after 3. Management refused to allow that and would not refund last 2 nights. I now have to deal with my credit card company on it. No compassion whatsoever.

Room spotless, large balcony w seating, comfortable beds. Located right at the ferry dock so we didn't have to haul luggage up a bazillion stairs to a taxi (hotel also has porters to do that. If you taxiing here, i Hightower recommend the baggage porter both ways!

Ferries come in and can cause some fumes...sisnt notice at all at the pool, but on our terrace ir was noticeable and coyld be a little hectic below with travelers. But overall we liked being able to see the action and not far from landing for our boat excursions.

This hotel is literally worth 50 dollars a night not 2300 a night! The customer service is horrible, they don’t have a coffee machine, no iron, or water! It’s very outdated! The breakfast has a small menu, it’s very outdated! - I regret spending a penny here! They don’t even care about their guests and they don’t care for the high price guests are paying to enjoy their stay! They over charge you for the luggage pickup and drop off!

The best location of any luxury hotel by far. Easy to walk to all attractions, yet quiet and relaxing when at the pool. Great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, impecably clean. Highly recommend.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice and we enjoyed sitting on our balcony drinking our complementary Prosecco. Breakfast was delicious and we really like the pool. Nice place to stay in Positano.

Our stay at Covo dei Saraceni was beyond magical! The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The views from our room were breathtaking! The cleanliness was top notch. I cannot say enough about the welcoming, friendly and kind staff. They all work so hard to make sure you have everything and anything you need. Lisa in guest relations goes above and beyond each and every day. She was constantly checking in with us to make sure all of our needs were met. Rosario was absolutely outstanding and so much fun! He welcomed us daily with his vibrant energy and waited on us hand & foot nonstop! He did an outstanding job training a new employee, Vincenzo and Guiseppe worked so hard everyday to make sure we were well taken care of. Sasha at the front desk was so very helpful and informative with all of our questions and needs. She constantly had a vibrant smile on her face and very eager to help. I cannot express enough how hard the staff works each and every day to make sure you are at your happiest and to make sure you enjoy every minute of your vacation. Thank you all so much for making our trip the most memorable of our lives. We cannot thank you enough ❤️
