The room was very nice and super comfortable. We enjoyed watching the snow come down in our large window. Everything was clean. Favorite part was the pool and hot tub, it was busy but still enjoyable. Desk staff was kind and knowledgeable. We will be back.

Nice and clean property. Convenient location. Only bummer was not being able to use the pool because there was a kids pool party going on for a while.

Only thing I would say I didn’t like was that the jets in the whirlpool needed to be cleaned out. There was mold and hair floating in the tub after jets were turned on. Other than that, we enjoyed our time there and would go again.

Hotel was clean and the staff was super nice. The suite had a lot of options for tables and seating, so it was great for my family if 4. The hotel is Located right near caverns and a great restaurant called the Bayou. The nearby town was great with lots of food options. I would stay here again. Had some little disappointments with the breakfast selection…very repetitive and the pancake maker broke for 2 out of the 4 days we were there (and the temp needs to be set a little higher, still tasted very battery). We also, several times in a short stay, needed to change our key cards because they just kept getting demagnetized…and no, they were not kept in our wallet with credit cards but rather were separate from everything else. And this is dumb, but I’m a hot tub lover and even I thought the hot tub temperature was way too high. It actually made it uncomfortable to be in there for even short periods of time. I couldn’t last more than a few minutes and I’m a heat lover. Maybe in the winter when the pool Room holds more cold it would be better, but for August, way too hot.

Very clean. Every single staff member encountered was very friendly and accommodating! Also loved the Dove products available for use. Has a clean, perfect temp hot tub and indoor pool. Plan on staying there again next time we are in the area!

Incredible location! We stayed there to see Brit Floyd at the casino - it was awesome! Breakfast was delicious and the entire hotel was immaculate. THe hotel and hot tub were sooooo relaxing!

The bathroom was disgusting. Black mildew everywhere. The chair in the room was worn out. The corners of the rooms all had dust. The walls were filthy. They gave us a top floor room and it was so gross the guy at the front desk said “i got you” and gave us a key to a 1st floor room that was literally just as bad. Bathroom floors had stuff growing on them. Shower head had other stuff growing on it too! Our beds looked slept in when we arrived too. But we were so tired so we just fell asleep- but not for long because the traffic noise was so bad. Only nice thing about this place was the morning coffee was surprisingly good and they tried hard for the breakfast. Also the staff was nice. But the place is so run down!!!! Nothing like the reviews. I kept wondering if I accidentally booked a wrong place!

I’m pretty surprised hotel.com users ranked it a 9. It had mold under the grab bars on the tile of the shower, some rust stain on the corner of the shower and on the grout of the tile. The ceilings and hallway had tons of settling cracks. It just left us feeling a bit grimy. Staff was great.

For a relatively new hotel, this property is dirty and worn out. I understand it was built in 2006 and renovated in 2016, but it appears to be time for another renovation. The grout in the bathroom was filthy. It has a shower over a tub, which I guess some people might like, but I would prefer having a shower rather than taking a shower in a bathtub. The bed and carpet look very worn out. The sheets were stained and wrinkled. Breakfast was included, but it was mostly inedible. They had scrambled eggs that were rubbery and tasteless. I've never experienced eggs that tasted like nothing. The biscuits were over cooked and dry. There were sausage patties that were OK, generic sausage. I didn't dare try the sausage gravy. I did try the pancake machine. You push a button and it makes two pancakes on a conveyor belt inside the machine. They came out very flat, dense, and rubbery. They had fake maple syrup that tasted like sugar water to put on them. I ended up throwing away each thing I tried after taking a taste of each, hoping that the next item would be better. Even the coffee tasted like flavored water. The only thing I could eat was a Chobani yogurt from a refrigerator they had there. I cannot recommend this property.

I figure if you’re going to spend $135 for a night at a hotel that it should at least be cleaned from the last occupants. It almost feels like they didn’t even clean the room considering that there were boxers hanging over a shower that did not belong to us. This is upon check-in. I’m just frustrated for paying top dollar or at least a reasonable amount and getting mediocre response or services. There are over 500 hotels in the area, could have chosen any of them within the same price range, but I chose this one believing that this is the one that provides and has a history of excellence. I was mistaken.

The entire Hotel was very clean. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and the shower pressure and temperature were great. Breakfast area was clean and food was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great location near Wind Creek Casino as well as shopping and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

The stay was not bad. There were a few things that I wish were better. The bathroom floor was not as clean as it should have been. But, The rest of the room was clean. The breakfast could have been better. The bacon was really good but the eggs were cold. Custom service at the front desk was really good.

Front desk staff is friendly. Breakfast is nice. The hot pool is nice. Room is not clean. My wife picked up a small piece of poop under the table inside our room. The bedsheet for the couch bed got yellow stains. The toilet in our room was somewhat clogged when we checked in so we called for service. We were given the plunger to clear it by ourselves.

The property and room were promising and nicely organized. The Staff was efficient, friendly, polite and helpful. The noise in the room was not welcome - not only could I hear doors slamming in the hallways, but heard noise from the street, the neighbors on both sides and upstairs all during the night. I got a few naps instead of a good nights sleep. The plugs by the nightstand seemed inactive and did not allow phone to charge, had to plug into wall outlets.

Room was old and makes loud squeaky sound when you walk on the floor, and the highway traffic noise can be clearly heard despite the window was closed. And the worst part is the constant floor squeaky noise coming from the room or rooms above. I checked in at 12:30am due to delayed flight, hoping to get some good rest before another full day of schedule and driving. Squeaky noise from upstairs started around 1am and didn't stop until 3am. Tried calling front desk but no answer, and it was too much hassle to get up to go to front desk to change room. Got very minimal sleep then woke up again by squeaky noise from upstairs. It was unbearably loud and sharp like walking on old wooden floors. The highway traffic noise was already very loud, but its nothing when compared to the squeaky noise from the floor above. I am not super sensitive to noise but never had I stayed in such a noisy and poor constructed hotel before. You can't stop people from walking and that's where the noise was from. Will not stay here again and does not recommend here if you are looking for just a simple night of sleep.

Beds were very comfortable which is most important. No USB ports anywhere in room. No water pressure in shower, had to turn on bath faucet and rinse conditioner out of my hair.

The room is well design. Nice bathroom, the room has comfortable beds. Nicely decorated. I liked it.

Was put in a room that borders the very noisy freeway. Could not get the room changed due to no availability, which I understand. I was looking for a nice quiet rest, and did not get it. Truck stops, where as a truck driver I normally stay, are much quieter.

This hotel was a good inexpensive alternative to casino hotel. The neighborhood felt a bit iffy. There were flashing police lights for over an hour the first night. Highway noise made it noisy. Hotel itself was clean and very quiet. Staff welcoming and helpful. There were moldy bagels out at the free breakfast. That was gross. We would not stay there again because the bed was horrifically bad. Very old, squeaky bed frame. Mattress felt like it had been there way too long, it was broken down and a killer on the back. Mixed bag but much cheaper than alternatives in the area.

The only negative is the hotel uses an outdated keycard system and the cards tend to stop working after one use--I spoke to many other guests in the hotel that had the same experience of getting locked out and having to get new cards. No, we did not have them in a pocket next to our cell phone either.

Hotel was clean and the staff was super nice. The suite had a lot of options for tables and seating, so it was great for my family if 4. The hotel is Located right near caverns and a great restaurant called the Bayou. The nearby town was great with lots of food options. I would stay here again. Had some little disappointments with the breakfast selection…very repetitive and the pancake maker broke for 2 out of the 4 days we were there (and the temp needs to be set a little higher, still tasted very battery). We also, several times in a short stay, needed to change our key cards because they just kept getting demagnetized…and no, they were not kept in our wallet with credit cards but rather were separate from everything else. And this is dumb, but I’m a hot tub lover and even I thought the hot tub temperature was way too high. It actually made it uncomfortable to be in there for even short periods of time. I couldn’t last more than a few minutes and I’m a heat lover. Maybe in the winter when the pool Room holds more cold it would be better, but for August, way too hot.

The property was very convenient, traveling wise. Not too far away WindCreek casino. Very good cleaning grounds. However, our stay was not that enjoyable due to disturbance by staff member Tracy waking me & my husband up at 2:45am New Year morning about our hotel payment failing. Her accusations for our stay yet to believe we didn’t pay and we sleeping for free. In all this It wasn’t true to believe that during check in my card said approve and funds was taking out my bank account when another staff member named Jimmy took care of us with ease. I was furious when we got the call and I couldn’t enjoy the rest of my stay for being falsely accuse by Tracy. Tracy is rude, unprofessional and will be reported for her actions.

The front desk representative said she couldn't find my reservation nor the confirmatio number I showed her from Expedia. The staff including the manager with braids that does the breakfast, hair not tied back and hair in scramble eggs. I love Holiday Inn Express, but this one need some staff training. Holiday Inn Express is our seven year old favorite hotel chain.

Front Desk Attendant was very nice and made the checkin process very easy and conveniently with a smile. Great customer service goes a long way and he did a very good job making sure I had everything I needed. Would definitely stay again.

I booked a room paid for it and received confirmation. I called them to tell them that I would be arriving late at night, and they said that would be fine. Then, that night, they called me to tell me that they had given away my room to someone else and that I could not come there, but they still charged me for the room

When we checked in, we were assigned a room that faced the interstate yet after an inquiry about overnight noise, the staff member kindly offered (and without prompting) to change our room assignment to the other side of the building. Attentive and proactive customer service!

Clean room and bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast (both quality and selection). The hotel is right off the highway, so even numbered rooms face the on-ramp. Had I known, I would've requested an odd numbered room as it was noisy from cars getting on and off the highway. Otherwise, the hotel and experience were great.

Night staff was very helpful. We arrived late and tired and she was very efficient and kind. Room is very large with great amenities. Waffle House right next door for breakfast and so close to the highway entrance. We were up and on our way.

The entire Hotel was very clean. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and the shower pressure and temperature were great. Breakfast area was clean and food was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great location near Wind Creek Casino as well as shopping and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

For a relatively new hotel, this property is dirty and worn out. I understand it was built in 2006 and renovated in 2016, but it appears to be time for another renovation. The grout in the bathroom was filthy. It has a shower over a tub, which I guess some people might like, but I would prefer having a shower rather than taking a shower in a bathtub. The bed and carpet look very worn out. The sheets were stained and wrinkled. Breakfast was included, but it was mostly inedible. They had scrambled eggs that were rubbery and tasteless. I've never experienced eggs that tasted like nothing. The biscuits were over cooked and dry. There were sausage patties that were OK, generic sausage. I didn't dare try the sausage gravy. I did try the pancake machine. You push a button and it makes two pancakes on a conveyor belt inside the machine. They came out very flat, dense, and rubbery. They had fake maple syrup that tasted like sugar water to put on them. I ended up throwing away each thing I tried after taking a taste of each, hoping that the next item would be better. Even the coffee tasted like flavored water. The only thing I could eat was a Chobani yogurt from a refrigerator they had there. I cannot recommend this property.

Well, first of all the front desk person who I checked in with was amazing the Night shift one was also great. The 2 issues I had were the communication between shifts about my late checkout was never communicated so I was disrupted during my stay because they didn't know I set that up. The other thing was the breakfast. I was told that breakfast was until 10 am so I went to the breakfast area around 9:30 am and there was no hot food out at all. An employee stated she's cleaning up already and walked away. The only thing that was available were 2 bagels, 6 slices of bread, a little bit of cereal in the dispensers, and yogurt. I couldn't eat the yogurt or have cereal because I'm lactose intolerant. That wasn't the biggest issue. The thing that bothered me the most was when 2 other guest came down to eat also I heard who I believe is the supervisor of that department say to someone in the back "Did you throw out the food already" and a lady responded "Yes!" and the gentleman replied with "Oh, well I guess no one else is eating" with a chuckling voice.

We stayed here on the way to NJ. The room was on the side of the highway, 50 yards away, and you could hear trucks engine brake. There was a hole in the hallway wall next to our room with a fan running. The real disappointment was the breakfast. The gal on duty was as unmotivated as I have ever seen. She ran out of coffee and there was a very long wait before she returned. The eggs were depleted and burnt. This is the worse Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed .

Easy check-in Lobby was clean, room was clean and beds comfortable. Room was a bit noisy from traffic outside. Breakfast area was not clean, out of a lot of items. It was 8:00 so there was still plenty of time for people to come. Only saw young lady once as she replenished forks, spoons, plates but never the food. Another couple had to ask her to clean a table and she did just that- cleaned one table. Good place to stay but may need to pay to eat somewhere else.

very clean room- I stayed for 2 nights, breakfast was very good as it changed daily- the only downfall was the hot tub in the pool area, wasnt warm enough, force was great, spoke to the maintenance guy and he told me he was working on it, but the water temp never got really warm, but it still was refreshing and relaxing. I would stay at this location again.

We arrived and I am recovering from major illness and exhausted from travel. First thing I go to do is take a nap. I pull back the covers and there is a dirty tissues in the bedding... Yuck!!!! The "box spring" type support had the material ripped all around it and was sagging. The corners and edges of things were dirty and dust filled. The ceiling had a major crack over the bed I slept in and it looked as if water had leaked at some point. The food was poor at best, items like the pancake maker were broken and not working correctly. We were in town for a funeral. I would have switched hotels had I felt better and we had had more time. It just felt gross and icky. The double beds are also small, hard and cheap. I could feel each spring in the mattress. I normally like Holiday Inns... not this one. Will not go back again. Do yourself a favor and just don't stay here....
