Super great staff, who made you feel very welcome. Food was also great and filling. Car park at the rear was easy to access. A good place to stay for a couple of nights. We really enjoyed our time at Plas Coch.

Lovely friendly staff. Good variety of food on offer in the evening and for breakfast. The room was nice and big, although because of the old building, the floor was uneven. Pretty limited parking round the back. Overall a good stay.

The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful, only disadvantage were the two flights of stairs up to our room which wasn't the hotel,s fault, but lovely views of the high street when we got up there !!!

The bedroom would benefit from a new bed and the replacement of all bedding. The shower and towels were good. Breakfast was excellent and evening meals were substantial although all items on the menu were not always available. The staff were friendly and helpful. I found it difficult to use the car park due to a marquee being erected and in position all week. Other parked vehicles resulted in limited space to manoeuvre. On street parking was however available

The place is run down and really needs updating the reception area looked like a bomb site with rubbish and boxes all over the place. We couldn't make a hot drink as when we boiled the kettle there was black bits inside it and the kettle it's self was black. The room it's self smell and we couldn't even lock the toilet door. We definitely won't be going there again

It was somewhere to stay for one night. The beds were clean and comfortable. Generally the room was clean but the paint was chipped in many places and the furniture hasn't aged well. The shower had mould around the base and the bathmat was threadbare, torn and holy. The bar was okay. The staff were good. Interesting that the single beds were completely different heights/sizes.

Staff were great, rooms are just too tired. Holes in towels, holes in duvet cover etc. everything just seems it was probably at the end of it’s usable life 10 years ago.

They do have a parking lot in the back but it fits maybe 5 cars from what I could tell. Luckily street parking right out front was free overnight so it wasn’t a problem. The place is a bit dingy and the mattress was awful. There was an actual hole in the ceiling of my room from possibly an old leak? The en-suite bathroom was fine. Staff were friendly enough and breakfast was decent. Very convenient location to many restaurants and shops. It was what it was if you need a quick stop off on a budget.

It’s a pub. Cheap. Friendly. Toilet didn’t flush properly, shower didn’t feel super clean and it was quite small. Bed was comfy. But it’s a characterful old pub and it’s cheap! Not many food options in Bala.

A comfortable stay and we were in luck having a room facing the back away from the traffic. There is a pelican crossing nearby which is set to a ridiculously high volume and this would have been a source of unnecessary noise had we been in a room facing the front. Please have a word with the local authority as it should be turned down. It only needs to be heard by people using it!

This is a nice comfy hotel. We stayed bed and breakfast, which was cooked really nice . The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly. It maybe a little old fashioned but it was a really nice and comfortable along with being good value for money, and we will definitely be back.

The hotel is definitely in need of a refurbishment but it is in an ideal location on the High Street and only a few minutes walk to Bala Lake. All the staff were helpful and friendly, especially Tony, the chef, who cooked us a lovely breakfast too. All in all, we had a lovely short break here.

The hotel is definitely in need of a refurbishment but it is in an ideal location on the High Street and only a few minutes walk to Bala Lake. All the staff were helpful and friendly, especially Tony, the chef, who cooked us a lovely breakfast too. All in all, we had a lovely short break here.

Très bon séjour. Personnel très agréable et serviable. Grande chambre familiale avec salle-de-bain. Très calme la nuit. Très bonne insonorisation malgré le pub en dessous. Petit déjeuner très bien avec beaucoup de choix. Seule chose il faudrait bientôt prévoir de changer les matelas.

Great value stop over when travelling north through Wales. We were looking for a family room for one night and could see that it was a busy weekend with very little availability across north Wales. Plas Coch was available, great price and decent big room for the three of us. Ok, so it could do with a lick of paint and a polish in a few places but it was clean, well situated and the staff were helpful in helping us park. Perfect for our needs, thank you.

Dismissive employees. No car parking spaces. No fans despite absolutely sweltering heat wave. Uncomfortable beds. Poorly maintained property. Loud revellers til all hours. Would really recommend staying elsewhere

Basic but clean. Bar food wasn’t good and was quite pricey. Plenty of alternative places to eat on the high street. Put me off having breakfast there, went to the cafe next door which was very good. Room was fine for an overnight stay, slept well and decent bathroom facilities.
