Easy check in with pleasant helpful staff. My room was on the top floor and was perfect for my one night. Had a great sleep aided by brilliant blackout blinds. Had an iron too which not all hotels offer. Had fantastic food for dinner including an amazing pulled pork scotch egg and fish pie. Breakfast in the morning was of the same standard, served with a smile and good background music adding to the experience. I chose this hotel on recommendation. It was 12 miles out of my way but worth the extra travel time in my opinion. I managed to finish the final hour of my day with my laptop and a cold pint of San Miguel in the beer garden soaking up some sun. Overall a brilliant relaxing experience and will return next time I’m in the area. Many thanks to all the staff!

Excellent small hotel in a quiet setting. Ample parking the taxi only took 10 minutes to get to the centre of Northampton. Staff very helpful and called the taxi each time. Restaurant food was excellent and tables need to be booked at weekends as it is popular with non- resident families and couples dining out. Lovely building ( built 1902) and there is also an outdoor dining area.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hopping Hare. Service was exemplary, room was clean and plenty big enough. Restaurant food was a notch above your usual pub grub and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others. We stayed one night for a World Cup rugby match at Franklins Gardens which was within walking distance.

We have stayed at the Hopping Hare a few times. It is a great pub, the food is very good, and the staff are very helpful. We would recommend the Hopping Hare to anyone. Only down side is getting to the rooms can be a little tricky - narrow passage ways and stairs.

Hotel & Room are a bit tired and needs a bit of an update/refurbishment. Noticed a bit of mould of a couple of windows but room was very clean. Breakfast was good and of high standard plus plentiful.

Jenny (staff) is efficient and caring about customer service. I watched her working hard at a busy lunch hour managing multiple tasks. She was courteous and helpful, answering my transportation questions and taking care of so much at once. The food is excellent and room quiet, clean and comfortable.

Everything was great, friendly staff, great welcome, clean well equipped room and bathroom. Only slight issue was mold in shower, but obviously ingrained in silicone not on surface, so maintenence rather than cleaning issue.

Our stay was perfect from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. The room was spacious, stylish and spotless. The bathroom was great. The staff who work here are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Everyone has a smile. We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were delicious. We couldn’t fault anything and will definitely be back very soon.

I booked this for our staff who were away training. They fed back to me that they really enjoyed staying at the Hopping Hare. The hospitality was amazing and the food was really delicious. It’s definitely somewhere to return to. Thank you for looking after them so well.

It was 12 miles out of my way but worth the extra travel time in my opinion. I managed to finish the final hour of my day with my laptop and a cold pint of San Miguel in the beer garden soaking up some sun. Overall a brilliant relaxing experience and will return next time I’m in the area. Many thanks to all the staff!

Easy check in with pleasant helpful staff. My room was on the top floor and was perfect for my one night. Had a great sleep aided by brilliant blackout blinds. Had an iron too which not all hotels offer. Had fantastic food for dinner including an amazing pulled pork scotch egg and fish pie. Breakfast in the morning was of the same standard, served with a smile and good background music adding to the experience. I chose this hotel on recommendation. Food was exceptional for both evening meal and breakfast and staff was on hand and very helpful and friendly to deal with during my stay. Rooms were of a very good and clean but of an average standard but would stay again just for the food.

Excellent small hotel in a quiet setting. Ample parking the taxi only took 10 minutes to get to the centre of Northampton. Staff very helpful and called the taxi each time. Restaurant food was excellent and tables need to be booked at weekends as it is popular with non- resident families and couples dining out. Lovely building ( built 1902) and there is also an outdoor dining area.

The team were very helpful and friendly, my room was cosy but spacious with a great cooked breakfast. The food in the restaurant was absolutely amazing, far and way above average pub grub. I travel a lot of work and this is now one of my favourite places to stay.

It was lovely, I am planning to come back to stay for dinner and and a night's stay to really make the most of it - it was a fantastic room, very large and the bed was huge! The breakfast too was amazing as others have mentioned - absolutely stuffed and was one of the best I've ever had at a hotel. Literally already planning a comeback!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hopping Hare. Service was exemplary, room was clean and plenty big enough. Restaurant food was a notch above your usual pub grub and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others. We stayed one night for a World Cup rugby match at Franklins Gardens which was within walking distance.

Our stay was perfect from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. The room was spacious, stylish and spotless. The bathroom was great. The staff who work here are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Everyone has a smile. We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were delicious. We couldn’t fault anything and will definitely be back very soon.

We stayed in room 19 which is lovely and spacious with an equally spacious bathroom. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom was immaculate. There is a sofa and additional chairs which is a real treat in any hotel room. Having windows that open is so rare and very welcome. Breakfast was amazing … we opted for poached eggs on toast and a mushroom and cheese omelette. Both were delicious … we could tell it was cooked by a professional cook or chef. The staff at the Hopping Hare are first class … nothing is too much trouble and they are friendly, helpful and very welcoming. It’s always a pleasure to stay here and we’ll return soon. Thank you as always.

Lovely hotel. Plenty of parking. Nice restaurant and bar. Room was well decorated. Had a very good fan for the hot weather. Well stocked tea tray and a nice bottle of water.
