The property is a little dated. The room was clean, staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was hot the day we stayed and there was no A/C turned on in the hallway, although our room was very comfortable. Would have been nice to have the bar/restuarant open.

Very misleading for the price. I paid $325 for two nights and couldn’t check in until 4pm. We arrived at 3pm, were told our room was ready, but they wanted to charge $20 for the extra hour. We had a room with two queen beds, yet there were only two bath towels provided. The coffee was stale and lukewarm, and the “continental breakfast” was just cheap items—oatmeal, cereal, and muffins. The room looked like it had only been given a quick coat of paint. The large convention center felt deserted, and the bar/restaurant shown on the website wasn’t open at all. There is no actual bar or restaurant on site. The “fitness center” is just a narrow room with three machines. The place itself has a lot of potential, but until it actually offers the amenities shown online, they should charge less. Right now, you’re basically paying for a place to sleep and a cheap breakfast.

The facility met our basic needs. Unfortunately the restaurant is now closed, so no food services availale, no morning breakfast, they don't even have ice machines available. The other down side is the facility does not have ducted air conditioning so the lobby and the hallways are warm and uncomfortable.

Advertised to have Lounge, Restaurant, Pool. None of which were Open. Went to get ice the ice bucket had mold inside it did not need it because all ice machines were out of service. The price was out of line for the services. Hotels.com sent an offer for the next night of $43.00. Thanks!!

Loved the back patio. All the workers were super nice. We picked this place because of the big pool. But when we got to the pool there was poop in it. Totally ruined our night. The tv was fuzzy and the Return air had a bubbling noise in it the whooooole time. The website said they had cots, no cots. We needed one for our toddler. That was another reason I choose this hotel. The wifi in the room was horrible. We had to leave the room to do any work. I would rate 6/10!

The hotel was hot from lobby to room. The room AC kept being turned off. It was 86 when we got into the room, there was blood stains on the bed sheets. I also had bugs in the bed. No breakfast, will not be ever going back.

We tried to cancel but weren't allowed, so paid for rooms we didn't use. Family in the area notified us of filthy rooms, poor food. Comments were condoms on the floor, beds made but with used sheets, mold, dirt, bugs. Then at 2am we got called to ask if we were still coming. That was intentional. Not at all happy!!!!!!

The hotel room was uncomfortably hot, and the beds were not great—you could feel the springs. We also found leftover trash in the room, including empty wine bottles, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the staff was incredibly nice and friendly. Unfortunately, due to the room conditions, I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

This hotel was extreamly dirty all the garbages were over flowing only saw the front desk person. carpets looked like they never get vacummed and had to move rooms and look at 6 other rooms before finding a clean one and was not offered any kind of discount for the inconveniences. The lady working the front desk when I checked in was very kind and friendly and was discussed with the pictures I provided for my first room id give her 3 stars for that would have given her more if I would of gotten a discount for the troubles of having to move. Also they have cameras in all the hallways but yet we had kids running around at 1230am knocking on peoples doors and running away. The breakfast is not like any other continental breakfast I've had it was messy no storage cabinet for the bread and muffins they came right out of the bag no eggs or sausage pancake maker didn't have any stuff in it for pancakes and the syrup was in a reusable bottle that looked like it never gets washed. Also looked like drugs were being sold out of hotel all in all I was extreamly disappointed with my stay pay that much for a night I would have expected a lot more.i will defently travel little further from my family's home for a nicer hotel next time sucks because that's the closest one and the drive down there was already 6 hours

It was the most expensive super 8 I’ve ever been too, the halls had a weird smell, the room had blood stains on the ceiling. The room was reserved for 4 and they only gave us two towels, I had to call for more and the front desk got upset.

So many disappointments. It took over 15 minutes to check in. The Front desk clerk should be trained to NEVER say your room number out loud, especially when you are a single female and there is a stranger in line behind you. He ended up having the room across the hall from me, even though the occupancy was very low (I asked). Everything is outdated. TVs are old and do not work. You only get two bath towels. The coffee maker did not have cups and was filthy (hair, built-up dirt, etc.) The furniture was put together wrong (the drawer wouldn’t shut). I called down to the lobby to address my concerns, but it went to an answering service, and I was told to leave a message (it was 8:00 pm), and I never received a call back. I was not advised there was a breakfast bar, and I wish I hadn’t stumbled upon it. When I was there, it only had cold tater tots, hard pancakes, and a meager choice of bread and cereals. For the price of $150, I was shocked by the condition of the property. Go to Yorkville for your hotel and stay with a trusted chain.

The hotel was filthy! Our toilet obviously had not been cleaned for quite awhile. Soon after checking in, I asked a cleaning person in the hallway if she could please clean it, she said she will have someone come and clean it. Then the front desk clerk came up to us as she wanted to discuss something with the cleaning person. I also explained the situation to her, told her our room number and she also said she will have someone come and clean it. We were there for 2 days and no one came….YUCK! Towels were dirty, even though we just had one bath towel. My daughter’s experience was just as bad. They had items left in their room from other people, dirty towels and sheets plus a large blood stain on the carpet in the middle of the room. Definitely will not stay here again!

Immediately upon waking into our room it felt very muggy inside. We had to keep the AC on most of the time in order for it not to feel that way. The toilet had stains inside the bowl, like no one has been cleaning it properly. The bathtub had a soap leak all inside running down because of the shampoo / soap dispensers on the wall. The pillows were not great nor the beds kind of uncomfortable usually hotel beds are my great for me.

Hum! My room was 90 degrees when I arrived. No gluten free or protein options for breakfast. Close to family and fairly quiet with trains running by. Staff are friendly.

The pillows were small and Itchy, the room was super out dated,TV was the size of a laptop with a very grainy picture. Wi-Fi was slow or not working. The pool was nice and the lobby was beautiful.

Needed a room while working in the area. Room was pretty quiet and clean. Could not find any outlets near bed, only one on desk lamp. No way to plug in phone and laptop for working. Room was dated, pillows were small, thin, misshapen squares. Overall decent enough. Overslept a little the next morning so missed breakfast before needing to head out for work. Used a lot of key cash for this booking and without it, I’m not sure this room would have been worth a price tag over $100

I wish i could give a better review but the staff was wonderful. The rooms were dated, free wifi that couldn't connect, the tv picture was snowy, rooms were very dusty, the hot water only worked if we ran the sink hot water while trying to shower, the shower was so slippery i actually fell trying to step out, key cards had to be replaced 3xs in 2 days they would quit working. Location was convenient for food and shopping.

The night time front desk gentleman was great, showed us to our room. But the room was strange, the pillows were super small, there were 4 on each bed, not enough blankets and the beds uncomfortable.

I booked a room on 08/17 called to let them know I would be checking in late around 2 am I was told by Michelle I would not be allowed to check in at that time and that she would cancel my reservation it has been a week yet haven’t received a refund I called for an update & was told by Michelle there are no refunds & that I was given wrong information when it was her I talked to when calling the first time asked for a manager and turns out she is the manager completely rude and no help at all I will be calling corporate to see about my refund

Our first room had a dirty toilet, beer cans in the garbage can, soap dispenser in the bathtub had leaked all over the tub(dried residue), dead lady bugs all around the edge of the carpet and the alarm clock was off by an hour. So obviously, this room had not been used for a while. I went back to the front desk and the lady said she would put us in another room. Only had excuses for the other rooms condition, no I am sorry. Second room, the tv didn’t work at all, so the maintenance man replaced it. Next morning the manager Frankie checked us out and I told him of all the problems and I asked if they could take off $50 for our troubles. He said he would, but couldn’t do it until that evening. So I kept checking my credit card statement on line and no $50 refund. In fact, they had double charged us for that one night stay. So I called and they took off the double charge no problem, but still no refund of the $50 promised to me. After a good month of calling and talking to Frankie, I gave up on ever getting a $50 refund. We will NEVER stay at this place again!! Horrible customer service and flat out liars!

So many disappointments. It took over 15 minutes to check in. The Front desk clerk should be trained to NEVER say your room number out loud, especially when you are a single female and there is a stranger in line behind you. He ended up having the room across the hall from me, even though the occupancy was very low (I asked). Everything is outdated. TVs are old and do not work. You only get two bath towels. The coffee maker did not have cups and was filthy (hair, built-up dirt, etc.) The furniture was put together wrong (the drawer wouldn’t shut). I called down to the lobby to address my concerns, but it went to an answering service, and I was told to leave a message (it was 8:00 pm), and I never received a call back. I was not advised there was a breakfast bar, and I wish I hadn’t stumbled upon it. When I was there, it only had cold tater tots, hard pancakes, and a meager choice of bread and cereals. For the price of $150, I was shocked by the condition of the property. Go to Yorkville for your hotel and stay with a trusted chain.

Every day was a new adventure with our room. There seemed to be a major disconnect between the booking system and the front desk computer system. The room we were booked into seemed to daily disappear from the system cousing an almost daily stop at the front desk to correct. We were booked in for 6 days. On the final evening, another guest attempted to use a key card to come into our room, unsuccessful but returned 10 minutes later with hotel staff and opened the door but were unable to enter as we had the security lock in place. When I brought this up the next morning, the front desk showed we were already booked out and that no one was in the room. The week seemed to have us checked in but a mystery of what room we were in. The front desk was very helpful, however it all seemed like a needless waste of time. We understand the staff shortages in all areas of hospitality, however I do not think this a staff issue and more of a technology issue.

When we first arrived we had no hot water in the shower, went down to the lobby and the lady at the front desk had an attitude as if we were lieing stating well you are on the 3rd floor it can take a while to get hot, I then advised I let the water run for 20 minutes and it was ice cold , ended up having to change rooms due to the maintenance man found it was a bad valve. We then kept getting locked out of our room multiple times a day due to the keys stop working. There was only one gentleman at the front desk that was professional and respectful, the two lady’s had horrible attitudes and always seemed to be annoyed they actually had to do their job and would argue if you told them something was wrong.

Decent stay. Nearby train track made for one difficult night of sleep. Stayed in a two queen room since a king room was about $50 more/night…seems very weird. Prices are too high for the hotel but they have you over a wheel barrow since there aren’t many options in the immediate area.

Very misleading for the price. I paid $325 for two nights and couldn’t check in until 4pm. We arrived at 3pm, were told our room was ready, but they wanted to charge $20 for the extra hour. We had a room with two queen beds, yet there were only two bath towels provided. The coffee was stale and lukewarm, and the “continental breakfast” was just cheap items—oatmeal, cereal, and muffins. The room looked like it had only been given a quick coat of paint. The large convention center felt deserted, and the bar/restaurant shown on the website wasn’t open at all. There is no actual bar or restaurant on site. The “fitness center” is just a narrow room with three machines. The place itself has a lot of potential, but until it actually offers the amenities shown online, they should charge less. Right now, you’re basically paying for a place to sleep and a cheap breakfast.

The facility met our basic needs. Unfortunately the restaurant is now closed, so no food services availale, no morning breakfast, they don't even have ice machines available. The other down side is the facility does not have ducted air conditioning so the lobby and the hallways are warm and uncomfortable.

Just over bad experience. Said bar and restaurant but neither. Sais breakfast. None. Took almost 20 minutes to get the water hot in the room to shower. Had to go to front desk 3 times to gerlt room keys to work when we got their. Checked out 2 days early and they didnt care. Will not stay their again

When we arrived we found no blankets on the bed which we thought strange, also no liquid soap in the shower dispenser. The breakfast barely qualifies as "continental" with only oatmeal, cereal and some muffins. However with the negative I would say the beds were quite comfortable.

Our stay here was incredibly frustrating due to a severe lack of staff and terrible organization.We arrived to check in at 4:30 PM, only to find the front desk completely empty. We had to wait around for 15 minutes because the only staff member was upstairs still cleaning the room.After finally getting our key and checking in, we left the hotel for the evening. We returned around 9:00 PM, and guess what? Our room card didn't work. We went back down to the lobby for help, but once again, there was no one at the front desk. They were apparently still upstairs cleaning rooms.The complete lack of customer service and unavailable staff made what should have been an easy stay a massive headache. I would not recommend staying here.

Horrible experience all around. I can't think of one good thing. Staff was rude, room was a dump, had to switch rooms at midnight, spiders, false advertisement etc. You name it. We left early very disappointed. Avoid this place at all costs.

I stayed here and it’s a beautiful hotel but there was no hot water and the tv and WiFi wasn’t working and the AC wasn’t working in my first room, the pool area was beautiful but the water was cold and the breakfast was cold and i don’t know what type of breakfast was it

We were so disappointed. No wifi and no tv without paying extra money. The room didn’t smell clean. The couch looked dirty. As much as we paid for two nights, I would have expected a perfect experience. So sad. We won’t stay here again. We will go to Yorkville next time.
