The staff was amazing, despite not being given information about our room change, which caused us to find out when we got to our room. The window was busted, the cover was stiff, and the hotel itself just seemed dated and in need of some TLC. On top of everything, the elevator was out. The staff really was the saving grace in all of this.

Horrible-arrived around 5 pm-took about 30 minutes to check in because she had to physically go see if a room was ready-elevator broke-with luggage and toddlers we had to climb stairs to 3rd floor-room looked like art barracks-appeared clean/smelled fresh but furniture all scratched up, yellow stain on bedspread, windows dirty & full of dust, stove burners burned and rusty, toilet seat cracked & paint peeling, tub faucet dripping, table & counter but no stools or chairs / could only sit on beds. Terrible, terrible!!! We left!!

Horrible-arrived around 5 pm-took about 30 minutes to check in because she had to physically go see if a room was ready-elevator broke-with luggage and toddlers we had to climb stairs to 3rd floor-room looked like art barracks-appeared clean/smelled fresh but furniture all scratched up, yellow stain on bedspread, windows dirty & full of dust, stove burners burned and rusty, toilet seat cracked & paint peeling, tub faucet dripping, table & counter but no stools or chairs / could only sit on beds. Terrible, terrible!!! We left!!

The main lobby area was not cleaned, needs to be upgraded. The bed had no blanket, just sheets. The room was not appealing. Upon entering the floor you could smell fried food cooking. A screen was out of one of the front windows. (not a good site). The desk clerk was very nice with trying to accommodate my family with another room because they had overbooked rooms.

We stayed less than 5 min The room was filthy dirt on the the floor— hair in sink in bathroom & toilet definitely not cleaned. The check in staff tried to tell us they needed $ 100 cash for security deposit instead of a credit card — told them that we didn’t have cash & they backed down. Elevator broken & stairs filthy ! Broken glass in the parking lot from an obvious car break in ( should have been my first clue to leave before we ever walked in! I’m going to try & get my $ back from Expedia — we usually aren’t picky & this place was AWFUL!!

I arrived to check in and learned they had no first floor rooms and the elevator is out. My knees can't handle stairs. Said I had to go to Expedia for a refund. Expedia refuses to refund because I did not cancel before check-in. I don't know if Extended Stay or Expedia are robbing me, or if they are sharing their ill gotten gain.

So, where do I start? Let me point out the positives to start with. The bed was comfortable, so I slept well. It was a quiet location and so the hotel was quiet. There were no rowdy customers to have to interface with. So all that was good. Oh, and plenty of parking there, so no worries about people hitting my truck opening their doors into my new truck. Now the bad parts... Commode leaked constantly, as did the tub faucet, so had to keep the bathroom door shut in order to not hear the dripping water, but I do have to say the water temperature and volume remained good throughout my shower, so no complaint there. No coffee or snacks or continental breakfast or even blankets for our beds and no changing sheets, emptying garbage, etc. for the second night's stay...bottom line, I guess you get what you pay for.

The room was very nasty, the tub was dirty, very dusty, looked like it hasn’t been clean in idk how long. I waited for check in for like 20 mins after arriving with another guest. Looked like the clerk had been in the back sleep because she never heard the phone ringing or answered. I will never ever stay here again! Walking in it stunk really bad and was dirty, if it wasn’t already super late I definitely wouldn’t have stayed and tried to go somewhere else, the only thing that was clean was the bed, tv didn’t work.

Easily the worst hotel I’ve stayed in and I stay in a lot in Fort Worth. Filthy bathroom, every area had a stain of some sort. The tv didn’t work. The room was supposed to be a non smoking room but reeked of cigarette. The bed was the cleanest part of the room. The night stands were dirty and one had a small puddle left on it. The staff at check in was kind.

From the moment we walked into the lobby it was a horrible experience. The smell of marijuana was suffocating. When we got to the room, the issues got worse. There were no pillowcases on the FILTHY pillows, no bedspread, there was no door handle on the filthy bathroom door, the toilet seat was an oval and the toilet was round, there was hair in the tub and shower, there was clothing in the dresser, there were no hangers, and when we asked for cups and other utensils for the kitchenette we were given 4 paper cups. When we asked for ice we were told there should be some in the freezer in ice trays- disgusting. The microwave was dirty. There were someone's hairclips on the lampshades, the led clock was sticky, and half the lights didn't work. The tv had a blue hue to the screen and the remote was taped together with medical tape. My husband walked over to get ice form the Sonic and, on his way back he witnessed what appeared to be 2 drug deals, and a solicitation for prostitution. Our hallway reeked of marijuana and cigarette smoke in a NO Smoking property. We were and are beyond disgusted with this property, there is NOT one nice thing to say about this property, room or experience. I am SHOCKED and DISAPPOINTED that this is property is part of the Extended Stay group.

Room was filthy, there were red spots on the sheets right next to the pillow case. White flecks all over the floor like paint, sink was full of debris and furniture was so dirty it could be wiped off with a finger. When I went down to complain was informed they have a no refund policy. Was staying for work because of the threat of an ice storm.

The first room I was given, the fridge didn't work and I was told someone was coming to fix it so I went to dinner came back 2hrs later and maintance never came, so now at 930pm the desk is finding me a new room, I go to make sure the air is on and it is not blowing cold (only cool), then I get another room And that room has no toilet paper, no shower curtain, mold in the ceiling is the bathroom and mold all over the outside fridge I ask for a blanket and I get handed a crinkle sheet and told that is the blanket. I had to move all my things by hand as they had only one cart and it was in use....I had a full ice chest and a case of water among my regular luggage

The first room they put us in was a “non smoking” room. It smelled like cigarette smoke. A/C filters were covered in nicotine. Second room they put us in was a mess. We had to go get bedding and made the bed. Floor was dirty. They brought us towels. Water leaked all night in the bathtub. Sink drain leaked

The staff were great! The place needs repairs done with something other than tape. The frig was unplugged and sitting in a pool of water, it did work gang busters when plugged in. The toilet had no water in the bowl or tank, got that working too. Unfortunately the last day was when i checked the shower, which had no lever to switch from bath, so it was a quick luke warm rinse with a cup.

Was unable to check in due to over booking after being told an hour after check in time that i would be able to come back and check in. No one ever called me to notify me that they changed my hotel to a different one that was 30 minutes away from the hotel i booked, making it an hour away from where i would need to be the next morning. I had already gone by 2 times prior with no room available. I called the other hotel they rebooked me to and had to cancel since it was too far away.

I made a reservation with Hotels.com and upon arriving within 45 minutes, was told they were FULLY BOOKED and I was turned away without any options other than NO ROOMS from the Hotel when I arrived at the counter. When I booked on Hotels.com interface showed the hotel had 5 rooms of the type I requested and 8 of a different kind of room, but Customer service at the Hotel had to call the hotel, but they never answered, so I was in limbo.... Spent an hour on chats with Hotel.com - had to restart the chat 3 times and it disconnected repeatedly, requiring me to start over with the process - as told, I had to have my refund reviewed later, and I would get a response via Email. So I had to book a hotel with a different service to get a hotel for the night.

I made a reservation with Hotels.com and upon arriving within 45 minutes, was told they were FULLY BOOKED and I was turned away without any options other than NO ROOMS from the Hotel when I arrived at the counter. Extended Stay America Fort Worth City View was very disappointing! We showed up at noon and asked if we could check in early. They said no, come back later. We came back at 6:00 and they told us that they had over-booked, no room for you, call Hotels.com. End of story. Who overbooked them? What were we supposed to do? Not their problem. They showed no customer interest or empathy at all. This has never happened to me at any other property.

When we arrived at check in time, we were informed that our reservation was cancelled. Dee, the lady working the front desk, was apologetic and went above and beyond. She got Expedia on the phone and got everything straightened out and handled. She was definitely the best part of our experience

Hands down the worst hotel experience of my life. We were in town for a funeral and got in the night before. Went to the hotel, inside reeked of smoke. We waited for over 30 minutes and no one ever even showed up at the front desk. We called a number we found and eventually someone came down. She then rudely told us they have no rooms. I said I had a reservation and she replied with “ so what I still don’t have a room” we left and called Hotels customer service. They tried to reach out but got no answer. I got an email a couple days later saying they spoke to the hotel and they would hopefully not still charge us. They still charged a $68 cancellation fee when they sent us away stating no rooms. It was also extremely filthy and smelled awful. I would not have been comfortable staying there.

The front desk staff was very pleasant but the quality of the hotel was not good. Nothing like the pictures portrayed on the site. The entire place smelled of marijuana and body odor. Bugs on the towels. Wasn’t able to rest due to being worried someone would break in to our vehicle. I was told there was a security guard but I didn’t see him the entire time we were there. It was not a good experience.

So, where do I start? Let me point out the positives to start with. The bed was comfortable, so I slept well. It was a quiet location and so the hotel was quiet. There were no rowdy customers to have to interface with. So all that was good. Oh, and plenty of parking there, so no worries about people hitting my truck opening their doors into my new truck. Now the bad parts... Commode leaked constantly, as did the tub faucet, so had to keep the bathroom door shut in order to not hear the dripping water, but I do have to say the water temperature and volume remained good throughout my shower, so no complaint there. No coffee or snacks or continental breakfast or even blankets for our beds and no changing sheets, emptying garbage, etc. for the second night's stay...bottom line, I guess you get what you pay for.

I walked in past the numerous dope smoking people in the parking lot and homeless campers to a very rude desk clerk who obviously did not want to be there. I arrived at 2:30pm and was told I could not check in until 3pm. After looking at the lobby and surrounding area. I felt very scared to stay there, so I went to a different hotel and paid extra money to stay there.

Facility was mis-represented on Expedia site. Pictures make it look like a clean, safe place which it is not. We walked out after seeing the dirty carpet, unclean room, standing water in bath sink and people hanging around the property. Looked like a halfway house for homeless. I'm sorry for those that have to stay there but it should not be listed as a travel site on Expedia at any price.

Tall black guy at front desk checking us in was pretty cool. Rooms though stunk, sheets were stained along with furniture. The hot water would go in and out. So you had to take a very quick shower before it got cold. The stopped the coffee and muffins at 930am. Not a real breakfast.

Stayed over 10 days and room never cleaned, no fitted sheet had to ask for one, no kitchen utensils as advertised, had to take off bedding and towels and take to front desk to be washed, and had to go back later for them. Dogs off leashes, smoking marijuana by doors, broken glass, etc.

I called ahead to make sure the kitchenette would be stocked with cooking items and utensils for eating. The lady said yes. Upon arrival I asked, since the kitchenette had nothing and was told that at that time there were no kitchen packs available. Also, the bed was a full-size, not queen size as described in the booking. The front desk staff person, Brian, was very apologetic and helpful to the point that he could be. He seemed to be doing his best to make the guests happy. We moved to another hotel after one night.

The room had roaches, room and bathroom weren't clean properly, had 2 USED TP rolls, the pictures made it look nicer than it was, the floors always felt wet. Had a weird smell when you'd enter the room, drawers and cabinets were basically falling off, someone was dealing outside the property every day, and buttons for the elevator were broken and elevator felt wonky. Only good thing was the lady working the front was very nice and helpful, and the AC worked well but the window was cracked. Breakfast minimal, like coffee and muffins, better than nothing though.

When we returned, the TV remote didn't work and there were no bath towels in the bathroom. There was a shift change while we were gone, and that person was a bit rude and told us we could check out if we wanted, rather than try to solve the issues we had. Then at check out the person working the desk could not be bothered with coming to the front. She just hollered for our room number and asked us to leave the room keys on the desk. The overall maintenance of the building and what we saw in our room was poor. Make do plumbing fixes to poor drywall patches in our room, broken elevator buttons, and overall a very dated decor.
