Fabulous Condo at Fishing Lodge Marina Cap Cana

Property was awesome, had everything listed and needed with an amazing location. Ricardo was great, made the check-in very easy and answered any questions we had quickly.

Cleanliness is an issue mirror, sinks and toilets. Property in need of TLC lots of little maintenance issues. Don’t be fooled by photos. WiFi is not included in rental. Lots of good properties in Cap Cana I would not recommend this unit

This was my first time at Punta Canta. Check in was 3pm. I had trouble getting into the condo. I arrived to the property promptly at 5 pm . Keyless entry was broken and not functioning properly. And we could not get into the property. I tried to call the host but he claimed he was flying and could not call so we communicated via text. Someone from the condo had to climb through the Terrance and enter the condo and let us in from the inside . We were able to enter the condo after 9pm. The following morning the host did sent someone to fix the keyless entry, but the door still had some mechanical issues . In addition the shower and plumbing in the main master bedroom had clogging and plumbing issues. It gave a could smell sewer smell . There was odorous leaking from the drain into the master bedroom and we could not flush the toilet and the fouls odor disseminated throughout the house. The host never offered to have us stay at a different place but we stayed a at with foul sewer smell of leaking draining water

We had a very good stay while visiting friends in Punta Cana. The place is convenient to the airport and I would strongly recommend renting a car to enjoy the area. (Driving seemed safe.) The condo is as nice as it looks in the listing and Ricardo was very responsive and proactive with instructions. If you want to go all inclusive you can buy a day or a night pass for food, drink and such at the TRS Resort. Internet was the only issue, so plan to rent or use your phone phone as hot spot. The area is pretty quiet most evenings, so if you're looking for nightlife this is probably not your place, but the restaurants in the Marina were very good. We very much enjoyed Juanillo Beach, about ten minutes away. We will for sure try to stay here when we go back to visit our friends.
