The property looked like it had not been updated since the 1950’s. The towels looked like they were just as old. They were small and rough. The hotel listing says there is a continental breakfast but that’s laughable. On weekdays they have cereal, juice, and coffee. On weekends, they add bagels to the mix. Had I known that was what the “breakfast included” meant, I would have stayed at another hotel. I would not recommend this motel.

Breakfast could use a bit of help everything else was great

Perfectly fine for what it is - an inexpensive dated relatively clean hotel 8 minutes from Asbury Park. No amenities and a bare bones continental breakfast (coffee, orange juice, and a few types of bagels), but the bed was comfortable and the hot water was copious. Didn’t love that when I came down for a second coffee a few minutes after 9 (breakfast is until 9:30) and it was out, the short curly haired girl working told me that she couldn’t make any more. Would still stay there again, because - despite the rough edges and general wear - it’s a bargain for the area. Note: we had a non smoking room, but, while clean, it smelled like someone had at the very least smoked on the balcony with the door open before us - so bring an air freshener.

3rd year in a row staying here. Property is alway clean and well maintained. Staff is excellent. Highly recommend

It’s the cheapest hotel Near Asbury Park so you get what you pay for. The beds are small, the rooms are small and pretty lack luster. It works for a quick sleep after a show at the stone pony
