A traditional pub within walking distance from Kings Cross station. Pleasant stay, comfortable bed and excellent food. The staff were very helpful and friendly helping us navigate our way around London for my daughter's graduation

The staff was great. We loved being above the pub which was very popular. Although it was quite loud, the staff was diligent about moving the crowd indoors at 10 and closing promptly at 11. The breakfast was excellent! We ate both nights at the pub. We felt like like we had an authentic experience.

Room is a bit dated, with a shower that you have to mix from the bath taps and is a bit weak but adequate. Oddly small pillows that were not very comfortable. Friendly staff and great breakfast.

Very happy with our stay overall. Room was clean and staff very friendly. Just one thing we wished for and was missing was baked beans with English breakfast. Nothing to complain about just it was like a cherry on the top and we didn’t get it. Overall highly recommend.

The pub itself is nice, the food at breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately the room itself let down the experience. There was an awful smell of drains coming out of the bathroom, even with the toilet lid closed and door shut. We left the extractor fan on all night and had a window open most of the time because the smell was so disgusting. The rooms look tired. While everything looked clean in general, I did notice the bathroom had a few spots which looked like they needed replacing or had buildups of limescale-type stuff. The shower wasn't good - very little pressure and even at the highest temperature it wasn't very hot. I'd maybe return for food, but I probably wouldn't stay here again.
