What a great experience! Things I loved: amazingly friendly and efficient check in experience Grey towels and rugs in the bathroom felt more like a home and less like a hotel The bar has such a relaxed atmosphere and the prices were unbeatable Walking distance to all the fun things in the town square The room was spacious and comfy Used a local company for the in-room shampoo/conditioner/body wash Even though the place was fully booked, I didn't notice any hallway noise from our room Very comfy firm mattress and pillows The a/c kept our room cool, despite outdoor temps in the high 90s. Things to be aware of (not negatives, just a heads up): Room keys are actual keys, and the doors do not automatically lock behind you, so be sure to lock the door as you head out. Does not have some of the typical hotel in-room stuff: laundry bag, box of tissues, disposable plastic cups. I think this is a great way to reduce landfill waste, so I was good with this. This is a perfect place for a girls' weekend, a weekend away with your spouse, or a place to retreat and recharge on your own

Old Texas charm with modern furnishings. Great products in bathroom. It is a block from downtown Blanco so made it a great hotel for Lavender Festival. Staff exceeds in customer service. Only downside is menu posted on website is not up to date. They only served Smashburger and Fries. No breakfast
