In the heart of beautiful Drammensmarka, you'll find this charming log cabin called "Fjellro". Here you have no neighbors, but fantastic views of the fjord. Here you really get the feeling of being all alone in the middle of the forest, even though the distance to the city and where you park your car is only 2.5 kilometers. In winter, you should feel comfortable taking your cross-country skis to get to the cabin. Although the log cabin is traditional and more primitive, with no electricity or running water, the design choices are lively color palettes, rustic details and warm fabrics. The cabin has plenty of soul and warmth, which can only be experienced in its entirety when you visit it. With stunning fjord views, the cabin can be enjoyed all year round. In the area around the cabin there are many beautiful ponds, such as Skinka, Skimten, Goliaten and Tverråsvannet, where you can enjoy the tranquillity of nature. Head to the viewpoints along the edge of Tverråsen, just a short walk from the cabin, and enjoy the spectacular views. After you've spent a few hours exploring the pine forest with its large rocky outcrops and red Drammen granite, head to the cozy Tverken café for a hot coffee or freshly baked waffles. Ski in / ski out: Cross-country ski trails right outside the cabin. Ski resorts nearby: approx. 29 min to Drammen ski center.
