The beach is popular with families and is a great spot for swimming and sunbathing. In addition to the beach, Greatstone-on-Sea has a number of other attractions for visitors. The Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, a miniature steam railway, has a station in the village and provides a scenic and unique way to explore the area. The nearby Dungeness National Nature Reserve is a must-visit for nature lovers, with its diverse range of plants and wildlife. For those interested in history, Greatstone-on-Sea is located close to a number of interesting sites, including the medieval town of Rye, the ancient city of Canterbury, and the stunning Leeds Castle.
