Lost Horizon Resort - Khao Sok

We had a really great stay at Lost Horizon Resort and would happily recommend it to others. Overall, we were very satisfied. The resort is new, beautiful, and well-maintained, and everything was clean throughout our stay. The pool area is lovely, and the staff were consistently very friendly and welcoming. The food deserves special mention. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection, and both the restaurant and bar served high-quality food and drinks. That said, the restaurant service could be improved. The waiters were friendly but often seemed confused and made several mistakes with orders. Fortunately, the quality of the food made up for it. We also joined two excursions. We were lucky to have Nong as our guide on the night trekking—she was fantastic and made it truly memorable. On our trip to Cheow Lan Lake, however, our guide was quite disengaged and uninterested, with very little communication or effort to enhance the experience, which was disappointing. Luckily, we switched to Nong, who completely turned the day around. All in all, a wonderful stay with just a few minor areas for improvement.

special and peaceful. The rooms are large and comfortable, but there were quite a lot of insects inside the room, which was disturbing at times. The bedding also felt a bit dusty. Breakfast was overall good, with several options to choose from. The hotel restaurant serves lunch and dinner, but the menu is quite limited and does not change, and the food quality is average. The staff is very kind and polite, but seems inexperienced. During meals, plates were not cleared from the table, which made the dining experience less comfortable. The pool is small but nice. The dining area is very warm and there were mosquitoes and flies, which made it less pleasant to sit there. Overall, the location in nature is amazing and the hotel has great potential, but improvements in cleanliness, food service, and comfort would make the stay much better.

Le cadre de l'hôtel est exceptionnel

Le personnel était au petit soin avec nous, très serviable et aimable. Ils ont répondu à nos attentes concernant les activités. Le restaurant de l’hôtel était bon ainsi que le petit déjeuner. Petit point négatif pour le taxi qu’ils nous avaient réservé n’était pas à l’heure à l’aéroport.

Det var et rigtig dejligt sted, flotte værelser, god rengøring, god service alle var virkelig søde. Det ligger lidt øde, men dog var der mulighed for at tage en smuttur igennem over floden og op til et par små spisesteder, nationalparken og en grotte. Men perfekt sted til at kunne tage på ture fra og samtidigt komme retur til god mad, en god pool og dejlige værelser. Restaurant, bar mm. er rigtig flot. Det er dog lige blevet færdigt og man kan godt se tingene lige skal vokse op og personalet lige skal falde helt til. Men vi vil helt sikkert anbefale det og komme igen når vi er på de kanter.
