New, clean, nice room Only issue was we were beside the outside door & it would slam shut every time someone went in & out but maintenance was notified

Staff was very friendly and welcoming, our room and the lobby was very clean. They had issues with their fire alarm that night where it would trigger randomly, but the staff was already aware of it. It did not go off when we finally settled in, but when we first got to our door on the 3rd floor, we ended up having to go back outside. Mostly adults walked out with us, but it gave me flashbacks to my college dorm days where we had weekly grease fires - some people were claiming it was from other guests with poor cooking skills since there are kitchenettes. Our floor smelled clean, in a way it reminded me of a shoe store with all brand new shoes, but a brand new type smell nonetheless. The bed was very creaky like an old box spring though was probably the only downer on our stay. Otherwise we were in a room that sleeps 3, which was very, very spacious. Furnishings felt new but overall somehow the room had a boxy feel to it, which was neither here nor there regarding our stay, but to speak to style if at all, though like other places ultimately evolution through time will tell
