Beautiful setting and my room was excellent. The pool swim-up bar is shown as operational, however, it is closed down and filthy. Not pleasant to look at. The food in the restaurant was very good.

The setting and the property were beautiful. Hard to realize that you were in the middle of the desert. Manager was helpful and friendly. There were two problems. One was that there’s no elevator in one building. The hotel and hotels.com should have revealed that. They had a luggage lift which helped. The reception area wasn’t accessible either. That being said, one can make a more informed decision when given more information. The main problem was the front desk staff. They were not friendly or informative. It was as if they had chips on their shoulders. I was not helped with the luggage lift upon leaving. They brought my bags out and left them in the middle of the lobby and walked away. There was a major discrepancy between what their info map/guide said and what Google and Apple said. When this was pointed out, they were rude and essentially said they were right. I realize that Alice Springs is not a big city/cosmopolitan place but to get cross with a customer when their error was pointed out, was uncalled for. This property could be filled every night if it were staffed with people who cared about the customers.

Pleasant hotel. Our room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Nice pool. Everywhere in the hotel was quiet as it was their low season. Restaurant food for breakfast and evening meal was mixed standard. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were advised not to wander around Alice Springs in the evening.

A good property but bathrooms showing signs of age. Not having soft close toilet seats is an example and aging showers. Also adjoining room was not soundproofed. But overall, a safe property, easy parking and decent amenities on site.

The room was absolutely spotless and well equipped. The bedding was comfortable and the bathroom was large enough to comfortably accommodate two people. The location and layout was impressive, with the large swimming pool being a welcome and refreshing relief from the heat. Staff were friendly and overall we had a very pleasant stay.

I couldn't fault the staff, they were all friendly and helpful. However, there were a few negative points: The chairs in the dining room needed a good clean. The glass fencing around the pool were smeary and needed cleaning. The rubbish bin by the pool wasn't emptied for at least a couple of days. Alice Springs itself did not feel safe at all, even during the day, so we did not venture out in the evening - I realise this is no fault of the hotel but it would have been nice if we were warned about this when checking in. Finally, about a month before we were due to arrive our flight got changed which meant we wouldn't arrive until a day later. Despite contacting the hotel they wouldn't refund for the first day and didn't even offer a room upgrade. It is a shame about these points, as it wouldn't take much effort to bring it round. But instead it just felt a little tired and neglected.

Room’s dirty cockroaches in the bedroom and bathroom very dirty and In your picture it’s says it has swim up bar but doesn’t operate so should be taken down and not shown. I would like some sort of refund I was supposed to have garden view but was a road view with lots of noise hard to sleep only got 8 hours sleep in 5 days not happy with the motel at all would never every stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

The hotel was generally very good, what let it down for us was the single bed was a little on the narrow side and the bathroom although functioned very well we did notice some rust staining just below the bottom hinge of the shower door. There was also some grout missing from the tiled area on the outside of the shower. We also saw some small cockroaches appear late on in the evening in the bathroom. They might have come through the gap in the grouting previously mentioned. But overall it was a great stay with great facilities and close to the town centre. I would recommend staying here

Room was 3 star for a 4.5 star price There was rice on carpet from previous occupants and the bathroom floor had dirt around the edges Toilet seat had rubber stops missing so moved around when seated if you were not careful Uncollected used dinner plates and cutlery outside our door from previous occupants Parking was hit and miss as all occupied unless you got lucky so had to park in no s parking area overnight

My recent stay at Mercure Alice Springs Resort had its highs and lows. The room in building 2 was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space. However, the promised internet proved unreliable, which was a significant inconvenience as i work remotely. The standout feature was the welcoming and helpful staff, who were always ready to assist. Unfortunately, my room's proximity to the street led to early morning noise, attributed to aboriginal individuals. In summary, Mercure Alice Springs Resort offers a comfortable stay with excellent staff, but the inconsistent internet and street noise may impact some guests' enjoyment.

Garden rooms have glass panel with curtains that don’t completely block out the security lighting in the car park which made it hard to have a good sleep. There staff were helpful and courteous and Barra on Todd is a nice place to eat.

朝食は無料でサーブされる訳ではなくて、レストランで購入するだけです。部屋は綺麗で、ベッド1、机1、テーブル1、冷蔵庫1、クローク1、トイレとシャワーと洗面台それぞれ1です。夏は特に暑い場所ですが、クーラーがあるので問題なし。ただし！Wi-Fiはほぼ期待できません。PCでなら何とかなりますが、スマホはほぼ繋がらないです。パインギャップというアメリカ衛生基地を経由するため、とか言われることもありますが、関係ないです。受付までいけば良くなります。が、部屋でWi-Fiが使えないのでは仕事にも関わるので、要注意です。

I gave a 5 starts review because I think the current grades do it some injustice. The beds in this hotel are simply fabulous. Regarding the room -in our first visit we were upgraded to a room starting with 3 (in the river block) and this room was excellent. In our second visit we stayed in a rooms starting with 2 and the room needed some update, and more intriguing - was located on the main road so noisy. So in order to fully enjoy - ask for a room in the river block or at least a room not facing the road. The coupon provided in reception makes the breakfast buffet a great deal. It was too cold for the pool and it is less inviting than the picture they publish.

The bed was so comfortable, I had the most amazing sleep. I also asked for a quiet room and staff were very accomodating of this (though it's not a noisy area anyway, so I think most rooms would have been fine). However, the shower head in my room dripped constantly and needs replacing. Staff were mostly indifferent, with the exception of an older Australian man, who was very friendly and welcoming. All up, I would happily stay there again.

after six nights on the larapinta trail we were looking forward to a restful nights sleep. we upgraded our room which included a bath. about 2am our very noisy neighbours in the adjoining room came home and from that point we didn’t sleep again. I knocked on their door and spoke to them once. we then called hotel reception/security another two times over the next few hours and they came and spoke to the offending guests. nothing changed. no offer to change rooms or eject the noisy neighbours. in the morning I spoke to the receptionist who checked us in. he was aware of the disruption. I asked about a refund and was told because we booked through a third party no refund was possible. he suggested we contact hotels.com. (we were offered free b/f which we declined as we had an early flight to get to). after contacting hotels.com who tried to get a refund on our behalf we were told the hotel had declined our request. Obviously the hotel is not responsible for the bad guest behaviour but they need a better policy to deal with situations like ours. We stayed at the hotel the night before our trek and the night after. rooms seem to vary according to the different buildings. It’s an ok hotel but certainly can’t recommend after our experience.

Mercure Alice Springs Resort management had zero compassion when we tried to cancel approx 14 days ago when our mum passed away and had to cancel our 7 week trip to Australia after 2 weeks in New Zealand and return home to Toronto. Just because it was a non refundable booking - They refused a refund nor a credit for a future stay. As info - Every single hotel and airline and tour we had booked in Australia showed great compassion and kindness at this difficult time except Mercure Alice Springs Resort. We were refunded and credited by every single one except them. We definitely will be returning for our dream vacation to Australia this time with additional family and will definitely NOT be booking with you and will never refer your chain of hotels nor book with you’ll ever again. Truly shameful not to even show some consideration - just any consideration.

Our room was adjacent an exterior doorway and the noise of people coming and going was a problem - door slammed constantly - would have been so easy to install a soft close mechanism. At night there were people sitting on the steps of this doorway playing music and talking loudly on phones - at 3 and 4 am. No answer from "24-hour" reception so had to go outside to ask them for some consideration. Water pressure, hot water available for 2 adults to have short showers, toiletries, and Wi-Fi need an upgrade. Restaurant service was slow, food was OK but expensive.

The room had bad urine smell. Complained to reception and he told me he can’t do anything since he is ONLY staff in the hotel managing. So basically there was no other staff in the whole hotel to look after guests. Called reception for 2 hours, no response. Also breakfast had very less option.

Very disappointed! Breakfast couldn’t eat… poor buffet breakfast with scrambled eggs or overcooked boiled eggs. Bathroom was equivalent to that of a 3 star max standard. Dinner was expensive with poor service, I sat for 30 minutes with a half full restaurant before being served… 15 minutes of attempted eye contact with staff was not successful. The meal however was tasty!
