Overall, a comfortable stay. The onsite restaurant however was mediocre with a very limited menu and some items were not available.

i had room with jet spa bath it was awesome.

Our stay was one of the quietest stays we have had anywhere considering it’s on a main road. Plenty of room to park for our Ute.

New Management and the restaurant is opened again which makes it convenient for Breakfast and Dinner options

Would have liked a toaster in our room and weren’t advised that we had a room with a spa instead of a shower.

Always a great place to stay..love the spa rooms and its always quiet here despite been on a main road..staff usually very accommodating to most requests and always helpful!

It is advertised as having a Bar/Restaurant which made it an easy option for my visit. However, upon arrival I find out that it only serves breakfast, no dinner/bar options, so the main reason I chose this was not available. Rooms are good enough and front desk lady was friendly and accommodating.

Bathroom full of mould and spar bath was not clean also very dusty main area very dusty not vacuumed no microwave plates or cutlery found chocolate coated peanuts beside bed n also found cobwebs hanging from the roof beds not made properly as didn’t fit the bed base on queen bed had a hole cut on the side of it, blue tac on fan gardens had rubbish in it and smells like pee.

I chose this place to stay because it was cheap and convenient. The reviews were good too. It was a very clean room,, quiet given its location and was exactly what I hoped for.

This stay exceeded my expectations. It could be a bit noisy in the mornings due to other people staying on the property, but it was quiet at night. The actual room was very spacious and was really well looked after by the cleaning staff. The bed was comfortable. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

Was pretty dusty and generally grotty needed a good clean the linen was clean and bed were comfy

I had ordered a non smoking room due to health reasons. The room smelt of cigarettes and we had people smoking right out front our window and talking loud late at night. Next morning I found the cigarette tray right below our window. I had ordered ease of access we were given room with spa that was difficult to step into to shower. We payed extra for breakfast booking as we had medical appointments that day over lunch. We arrived at 20 to 9 for breakfast the toast machine hot food and drinks were turned off the food in the buffet Luke warm, turned off well before we cane and people arrived to eat after us. The chef told us that he had turned it all off & finishes at 9. The night before I was told by front of house that he cooks till 9am and service ends at 9:30. On the website it says they service till 10am the breakfast was $37 each. For the quality & attitude of chef I was astounded they could charge that there was no fruit to go with cereal and the pastries were all gone he had put away the food already. I was crook all day due to poor food hygiene. We had an 11 am checkout. The front garden was full of weeds and the look of the place rough out front. The young people serving the front desk were so lovely & polite and I felt sorry for them. The bed was comfortable but smelt of cigarette smoke. The net curtain inside had a brown cigarette stain on it. The cups in the kitchenette were tea stained and the draw dirty. Had to wash before use. Room was otherwise ok.

It wasnt terrible but it was very average. We booked the king suite for the bath tub but when we arrived it was all scratched on the bottom and had stains. The phone in the room didnt work, nor did the kettle but they did replace that for us. Minibar wasn't stocked with anything but small milk. The carpet was torn and patchy. There was cob webs in every corner and the fake plants desperately need a dust. There was also no cutlery, plates or bowls in the rooms. There was no microwave. The toilet also ran continuously and didn't flush properly.

Cigarette butt piles up out side near steps, safe not working, holes in couch, not as clean and tidy as it used be.

Room spotless and spacious

For my own reasons, Gateway provided me a very comfortable stay. Room was spacious, wifi worked, temperature adjustable. Surrounding area was very minimal but the small convenient store provided enough for my breakfast or lunch.

this is basic accommodation, everything works and it is close to my workplace.

Nice place, large room, firm bed - a bit outdated though, cushions could do with a clean and no wifi or netflix etc.

The room was very nice. The noise when upstairs was filling the spa, or having a shower was very loud. After a while water started to drip from the ceiling and land in the channel for the built in wardrobe and made noise also, it was keeping us awake.

A good sized room with comfortable bed, as well as a sofa, dining table and work desk. Nice bathroom too. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It’s simple and dated, but everything is ok and you pay the right rate

Staff were very friendly, went out of their way for us. Short walk to the Victorian Heart Hospital. Even asked if results were ok.

Friendly and safe

Staff was polite but lacked social skills and could barely speak English. Though he was helpful when asked, the language barrier was tricky. Upon staying, I quickly noticed how unclean my room was. The room stank of body odour, there was some kind of brown coffee like splatter on the wall and the shower had mould in 2 different spots… only stay here if you are desperate and cheap.

It was a good comfortable stay I will be happy to stay there again if I’m in the area. The service by staff was excellent.

Big thankyou to the staff i had a lovely stsy

It was disappointing to find the office closed when I arrived. I needed to access the room key in a safety box. I requested a ground level room because my husband is disabled. Instead my room was up two flights of stairs and as far away from the stairs as possible facing a noisy road which meant that I could not open my window to get rid of the stale cigarette smoke smell.

Quiet and clean. Close to shopping centres.

Easy access. Clean and more than adequately supplied with amenties.

I stayed here as my daughter was having surgery nearby. It was convenient to the hospital. It was a comfortable stay and room facilities were all in working order. Value for money. It was not expensive. A convenient place to stay

Staff were lovely at check in and it was lovely to stay there again. Perfect stop out of Melbourne and near to Monash Uni

Good clean older style motel and comfortable. Wifi was good and good for business travellers. Menu was good, maybe could be a little more western food but the cheeseburger spring rolls were amazing!!!

Wow! What a surprise! Lovely people…very helpful. Great meal…beautifully cooked. Huge room…really well appointed! A spa bath! Big comfy bed…the entire stay for 1 night was too short! Wish this was the standard for all the hotels we stay in! Loved it…thank you!

It’s a nice motel, rooms are neat with large tv’s and the restaurant serves nice food. Oh and very comfortable beds.

Had an awesome shower, nice clean soft cosy bed, I dined in the restaurant and the food was great, very friendly and relaxing.

Our room was unique….the tv screen was covered is circles…..thought it was the tv station….it was the tv itself. The ceiling fan was dirty, the shower was unclean and the smoke detector was hanging out of the ceiling. Breakfast was poor. Had to find our own knife to butter our toast
