This is a great hotel in Ponta Delgada. The lobby area is beautifully appointed and its large windows look out onto the street. The room (ours was on the Executive floor) was very comfortable, clean and quiet. One drawback is that the lighting in the room itself is insufficient making the room too dark at night even when all of the lights are on. A more serious issue is that there isn't anywhere convenient to park when you are checking in and if you don't have a room on the Executive Floor (or better,) then you have to pay for parking on-site. And, parking in Ponta Delgada is difficult, at best, as it is a very busy city with limited space for parking and enforcement is strict. The breakfast buffet is outstanding especially if you are a fan of Azorean cheeses! Fresh food, fruit and cheeses so do not miss out on it. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Close to water front and city centre...10 min walk. Lots of parking around the hotel or underground paid parking. Large spacious clean room with view over the city and waterfront andvovercyp Sao Roque. Unbelievable breakfasts. They call it continental in the write ups and website, but it is a full english combined with a continental. Best breakfast variety that ive been offered. Hotel staff so polite and helpful. Facilities were excellent....indoor pool, sauna, wet sauna, hot tub ( could have been warmer, a little cool for me) but great after hiking thru the hills. Gym, billiards. Highly recommend.

The staff was extremely accommodating and attentive. Parking is on site in an underground secure garage. Street parking may be available also, but we opted to park in the garage. We had a room on the top floor which was very spacious and comfortable. The room was neat and the layout was perfect for our needs. We kept the window open, and there was no noticeable city noise that would have bothered us. The location is a bit further to the waterfront compared to other hotel options, but still easily walkable. Easy to drive around and get to the highway with minimal traffic. Hotel has many great amenities. We took advantage of the daily breakfast which had plenty of quality options. Always great to be able to start your day without having to plan where to eat first. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I return to Sao Miguel.

The hotel itself is really pretty. Its about a 12-15 minute walk to the popular city centre with all the shops and restaurants. Parking was free and we didn't have any issues finding a spot. The breakfast buffet was really nice and lots of delicious food including local cheeses and Mimosas. Overall a great stay here.

The Lince is in an excellent location, close to the sea, town centre, shops and pineapple plantantion! Despite being on a busy road, the room was very quiet with no significant outside noise. The hotel restauant and bar had a good selection of foods and drinks. The breakfast was particularly good. The hotel indoor pool was warm, open many hours and clean. The room itself was well equipped with a fridge, safe, reliable wi-fi etc. If you are looking for a good hotel, in a convenient location at a realistic price, then I would highly recommend this one after viewing its full details and guest comments etc.

The hotel was unimpressive. It was very basic for the price point. The hotel smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, the AC in our room didn’t work and the tub didn’t drain. Unlikely to stay here again. It was fine for one night near the airport but for a hotel trying to be upscale it was disappointing.

The hotel is beautiful and clean, daily breakfast buffet is available from 730 to 1030 with a nice variety of breakfast items and coffee from bacon, sausage, pancakes. Cereal, fresh fruits etc., having breakfast on location is a huge bonus. Staff are pleasant, friendly and helpful, and many speak English. There is free street parking on side of hotel but you take the gamble of coming home and no spots available, there is paid parking in lower level of hotel for I believe 6 euro a day which for me renting a car i want peace of mind knowing the car wont be sideswiped in those narrow streets. I have no complaints about the premises and would recommend it to family and friends.

Good location, more on the eastern side of Ponta Delgada but not a far walk to the main attractions and port area. Clean hotel, very comfortable bed, very good breakfast buffet, good WiFi. The staff was always helpful. Quiet area.

Não sou pessoa de escrever comentários, no entanto, este tenho mesmo que escrever. Passei um total de 6 noites neste hotel em família e, lamentavelmente, não posso dizer que fiquei satisfeito com a minha estadia. Desde o início, enfrentámos problemas que prejudicaram a nossa experiência. No nosso piso, apesar de ser proibido, havia um constante cheiro a tabaco nas áreas comuns. Isto é inaceitável, especialmente num ambiente que se diz livre de fumo. Além disso, a partir da segunda noite, e todas as noites seguintes, um alarme soava intermitentemente durante várias horas, deixando-nos em constante sobressalto. Reportámos o problema à recepção na segunda noite, mas não houve qualquer resolução ou feedback nos dias seguintes. Apenas no último dia, e após ameaçarmos escrever no livro de reclamações, recebemos uma resposta do director do hotel explicando o motivo do alarme e oferecendo um jantar como compensação, o qual declinámos. Outra situação decepcionante ocorreu na zona da piscina interior. Quando não havia ninguém do staff presente, tentámos usar o telefone disponível para contactar a recepção em caso de necessidade. No entanto, apesar de várias tentativas, ninguém atendeu, o que me obrigou a sair todo molhado até à recepção. Além disso, o banho turco esteve fora de serviço durante toda a semana. Em resumo, a experiência ficou muito aquém do esperado devido ao cheiro a tabaco, ao alarme perturbador, à má gestão do problema pela recepção e à falta de atendimento na área

The Lince is a very nice hotel. The staff was very helpful in letting us store our luggage since our flight came in early in the morning before 3:00 check-in. We were told we'd be called when our room was ready, but we never were. Ultimately, we came back to the hotel at 2:00 and the room was ready. It would have been nice to have received a call so we could have checked in sooner. Otherwise, the breakfast buffet was nice, the room was clean, the hotel had good amenities for our short {1 night} stay.

Vinduene manglet litt tetting, slik at når det blåste, ulte det i vinduet. Også en stor glipe i døren vår ut til gangen. Noe vi tror bidro til lyden i vinduet siden det muligens laget gjennomtrekk. This is a great hotel in Ponta Delgada. The lobby area is beautifully appointed and its large windows look out onto the street. The room (ours was on the Executive floor) was very comfortable, clean and quiet. One drawback is that the lighting in the room itself is insufficient making the room too dark at night even when all of the lights are on. A more serious issue is that there isn't anywhere convenient to park when you are checking in and if you don't have a room on the Executive Floor (or better,) then you have to pay for parking on-site. And, parking in Ponta Delgada is difficult, at best, as it is a very busy city with limited space for parking and enforcement is strict. The breakfast buffet is outstanding especially if you are a fan of Azorean cheeses! Fresh food, fruit and cheeses so do not miss out on it. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Large spacious clean room with view over the city and waterfront andvovercyp Sao Roque. Unbelievable breakfasts. They call it continental in the write ups and website, but it is a full english combined with a continental. Best breakfast variety that ive been offered. Hotel staff so polite and helpful. Facilities were excellent....indoor pool, sauna, wet sauna, hot tub ( could have been warmer, a little cool for me) but great after hiking thru the hills. Gym, billiards. Highly recommend.

The hotel was unimpressive. It was very basic for the price point. The hotel smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, the AC in our room didn’t work and the tub didn’t drain. Unlikely to stay here again. It was fine for one night near the airport but for a hotel trying to be upscale it was disappointing.

We had a room on the top floor which was very spacious and comfortable. The room was neat and the layout was perfect for our needs. We kept the window open, and there was no noticeable city noise that would have bothered us. The location is a bit further to the waterfront compared to other hotel options, but still easily walkable. Easy to drive around and get to the highway with minimal traffic. Hotel has many great amenities. We took advantage of the daily breakfast which had plenty of quality options. Always great to be able to start your day without having to plan where to eat first. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I return to Sao Miguel.

The Lince is in an excellent location, close to the sea, town centre, shops and pineapple plantantion! Despite being on a busy road, the room was very quiet with no significant outside noise. The hotel restauant and bar had a good selection of foods and drinks. The breakfast was particularly good. The hotel indoor pool was warm, open many hours and clean. The room itself was well equipped with a fridge, safe, reliable wi-fi etc. If you are looking for a good hotel, in a convenient location at a realistic price, then I would highly recommend this one after viewing its full details and guest comments etc.

Our stay at the Lince Azores was amazing! When we first got there, we had a few questions and things we were not familiar with in the staff helped us with everything they treated us so professionally and we’re so caring about our trip and making sure we were comfortable it felt like they really genuinely cared and that is very rare. The food there is amazing. The breakfasts are enjoyable, there is some thing for everyone and the staff is very caring and hospitable. The only thing that would be a negative is having to wait to get coffee from a machine. It was good coffee, however, waiting for it, and not knowing how to use it you might be in line for a little bit find someone who didn’t know how to use it. We were there for one dinner also and that was very very good. It was a Buffet and it was delicious. I would recommend this hotel and will definitely go back while visiting Sao Miguel. It is a beautiful hotel. The staff is very accommodating and they really want to make sure you have a good time. I wasn’t able to use the spa or the pool but we visited all and they looked lovely. The hotel was located centrally to everything as we had rented a car and for us it was a very convenient location. If I had to write this hotel out of five stars, I would rate it a five.

The hotel is beautiful and clean, daily breakfast buffet is available from 730 to 1030 with a nice variety of breakfast items and coffee from bacon, sausage, pancakes. Cereal, fresh fruits etc., having breakfast on location is a huge bonus. Staff are pleasant, friendly and helpful, and many speak English. There is free street parking on side of hotel but you take the gamble of coming home and no spots available, there is paid parking in lower level of hotel for I believe 6 euro a day which for me renting a car i want peace of mind knowing the car wont be sideswiped in those narrow streets. I have no complaints about the premises and would recommend it to family and friends.

Não sou pessoa de escrever comentários, no entanto, este tenho mesmo que escrever. Passei um total de 6 noites neste hotel em família e, lamentavelmente, não posso dizer que fiquei satisfeito com a minha estadia. Desde o início, enfrentámos problemas que prejudicaram a nossa experiência. No nosso piso, apesar de ser proibido, havia um constante cheiro a tabaco nas áreas comuns. Isto é inaceitável, especialmente num ambiente que se diz livre de fumo. Além disso, a partir da segunda noite, e todas as noites seguintes, um alarme soava intermitentemente durante várias horas, deixando-nos em constante sobressalto. Reportámos o problema à recepção na segunda noite, mas não houve qualquer resolução ou feedback nos dias seguintes. Apenas no último dia, e após ameaçarmos escrever no livro de reclamações, recebemos uma resposta do director do hotel explicando o motivo do alarme e oferecendo um jantar como compensação, o qual declinámos. Outra situação decepcionante ocorreu na zona da piscina interior. Quando não havia ninguém do staff presente, tentámos usar o telefone disponível para contactar a recepção em caso de necessidade. No entanto, apesar de várias tentativas, ninguém atendeu, o que me obrigou a sair todo molhado até à recepção. Além disso, o banho turco esteve fora de serviço durante toda a semana. The Lince is a very nice hotel. The staff was very helpful in letting us store our luggage since our flight came in early in the morning before 3:00 check-in. We were told we'd be called when our room was ready, but we never were. Ultimately, we came back to the hotel at 2:00 and the room was ready. It would have been nice to have received a call so we could have checked in sooner. Otherwise, the breakfast buffet was nice, the room was clean, the hotel had good amenities for our short {1 night} stay.

We arrived late, but early for us with the time zone change. After check in we had a drink at the lively bar, Saturday night and the crowd was fun. We were not able to use all of the hotel amenities offered. Breakfast buffet was substantial, fueling us for our first day on Sao Miguel. We walked to the Pineapple Plantation which is nearby. Would gladly stay again.

The hotel itself is really pretty. Its about a 12-15 minute walk to the popular city centre with all the shops and restaurants. Parking was free and we didn't have any issues finding a spot. The breakfast buffet was really nice and lots of delicious food including local cheeses and Mimosas. Overall a great stay here.

We arrived late, but early for us with the time zone change. After check in we had a drink at the lively bar, Saturday night and the crowd was fun. We were not able to use all of the hotel amenities offered. Breakfast buffet was substantial, fueling us for our first day on Sao Miguel. We walked to the Pineapple Plantation which is nearby. Would gladly stay again.

Our stay at the Lince Azores was amazing! When we first got there, we had a few questions and things we were not familiar with in the staff helped us with everything they treated us so professionally and we’re so caring about our trip and making sure we were comfortable it felt like they really genuinely cared and that is very rare. The food there is amazing. The breakfasts are enjoyable, there is some thing for everyone and the staff is very caring and hospitable. The only thing that would be a negative is having to wait to get coffee from a machine. It was good coffee, however, waiting for it, and not knowing how to use it you might be in line for a little bit find someone who didn’t know how to use it. We were there for one dinner also and that was very very good. It was a Buffet and it was delicious. I would recommend this hotel and will definitely go back while visiting Sao Miguel. It is a beautiful hotel. The staff is very accommodating and they really want to make sure you have a good time. I wasn’t able to use the spa or the pool but we visited all and they looked lovely. The hotel was located centrally to everything as we had rented a car and for us it was a very convenient location. If I had to write this hotel out of five stars, I would rate it a five.

The hotel itself is really pretty. Its about a 12-15 minute walk to the popular city centre with all the shops and restaurants. Parking was free and we didn't have any issues finding a spot. The breakfast buffet was really nice and lots of delicious food including local cheeses and Mimosas. Overall a great stay here.
