Ocean Block Oasis, 2-Bed Condo

Host and unit were what we needed and expected.

I’m not even sure where to start. We walked in and at first look it was nice little spot, but as we unpacked and got comfortable it was awful. My husband went to put a hand towel in the bathroom and the hook fell off the wall…showing the duct tape holding it. The fake tiles were coming off the wall to the shower and it was filthy. The shower curtain was moldy. The toilet had urine on it We had someone else’s sock in our room. My daughters bed frame was bent in and held together with duct tape. It says linens are provided, but it was nothing, but a stained bottom sheet and a small blanket There is a list of rules on the wall that aren’t spoken of before the booking. I got a text the morning we were leaving that we needed our own towels and toiletries…thank goodness we hadn’t left yet. Never saw the property owner or manager. People were smoking by our front door and smoke was coming in through the door as it wasn’t flush. The blinds were all broken and it was so hot in the main bedroom We had sand from the beach and I couldn’t find a broom to clean it up. Just a frustrating stay. I feel like we’re were totally mislead. Only good part was the location. Super close to the beach and boardwalk. There is also a CVS super close by when we needed toilet paper and paper towels. The pictures represent the place probably years ago when it was first renovated. My second daughters room had a cable coming out and duct tape over it. Pillows flat bed was loud table uneven.

Place needs updating. Minor bug issues fruit flys & black flys. There were sheets left in dryer & cleaning rags in washing machine Could have been cleaner

I gave the place 5 stars because of location and price, but if your looking for luxury go elsewhere. We are not high maintenance and was looking for a nice place close to the beach and boardwalk for our getaway. It satisfied our needs and we really had a great time! The neighborhood is safe and the place is clean.

The property is what you see in pictures. Met landlords nephew, very polite and definitely recommend this rental 👍🏾
