We love this condo resort! It’s so close to the beach, staff are friendly, clean, spacious, with kitchen, laundry mat on site, free coffee and hot coco in the lobby each morning, ping pong shuffle board and corn hole next to the pool and castaway cafe! Love it!

Such an amazing hidden gem! So beautiful, with great beach access and a super cute delish restaurant. There’s a free trolley that goes to whalers village and a super affordable beach hut that rents snorkel gear, cabanas, etc., Would stay again!!

While the decor is stuck in 70s Hawaii, our stay was comfortable and clean. Friendly staff and amazing beach access. Surrounding areas well maintained and clean. Quiet and relaxing. We did miss the housekeeping service though, even if for every other day during our stay. Fresh beach towels available at any time. We loved it here!

Front desk staff, Rain and Joe and all the rest were great. Handy coffee station in the morning, water bottle refill very very appreciated. Wonderful pool and great restaurant, the Castaway. Grounds were beautiful. Great central location walkable to so many places, free shuttle to whalers Village. This place was so great. Not as crazy and packed in as the neighboring hotels. Totally recommend! Ocean view studio, perfect!

We got a studio. There was plenty of storage space for the 3 of us. The room felt a lot more open than that of the Westin next door. The kitchen really was a full kitchen, equipped with pots, pans and plenty of kitchen wares. The pools were basic, but the location cannot be beat. Access to the beach was wonderful and as many pool towels as you might need. We'd definitely recommend and would love to return to this location.

We enjoyed staying at the Maui Kaanapali Villas, comfortable beds, everything was great, loved having the kitchen (though we at out for dinners). The pool was clean and access to the beach easy. Rentals on the beach were a bonus.

Absolutely amazing rooms, right next to the beach! Check in/out is easy in your phone. Very short walk to the beach and pool. They have an amazing restaurant right on the beach. They also have a trolley that takes you to different beaches and shops! 10/10 would recommend!!

Great location on the beach and close to shopping, dining and snorkeling. Our room was beautifully equipped with all the necessities of home. We made use of the outdoor grills to bbq dinner at night. The complimentary coffee in the lobby each morning was lovely. I made use of the fitness center each morning as well (open 24 hrs) and the equipment was clean and well cared for. The pool area was great, lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas and never over crowded. Pool towels were easy to exchange at the front desk. Would highly recommend and would definitely return if we are back in Maui!

Room was specious but not well maintained. Wiggling door stopper, no exhaust in kitchen or bathroom, no space at balcony and shabby sofa. They don’t have a smart TV, staffs don’t provide refill toilet supply too. Only one restaurant with not much choice for food. Swimming pool was also not very clean. Overall, not satisfied with the quality of service.

There was also a bug in the room, inside one of the frames. We didn’t appreciate that they don’t do any cleaning service. We also paid for an ocean view room and did not get that, we didn’t want to fight it because the room took long enough despite us getting there a bit early.

There was a terrible Ant problem in our room. We reported it the first night and they did nothing about it. The day we were leaving I filed a complaint and they seemed to disregard it. I spent $50 recleaning my families clothes, only to leave with ants still in our luggage. I would look elsewhere to stay for your trip.

We really were looking forward to this stay, unfortunately it was not great for us. I will start with the pros: The beach is beautiful & right outside of the resort, the restaurant on site has great food and service, the resort concierges & the staff were all very nice. Pools were good & with great hours. Now with the bad: No cleaning?! We stayed in the resort for 8 days & they only cleaned our room ONE time. I asked about it in reception & they said they only do it once in your stay. This was by far the biggest let down for me, I am booking a resort because the last thing I want to worry about is taking my trash out. I paid resort fees, & they only covered one day of cleaning? I am sorry but I could have booked an airb&b instead then. Only had 1 coffee and towel replacement. The room kitchen was full of bugs. Both small roaches & ants. They fumigated while we were on site, but that didn't kill the bugs, and without cleaning... well, it just makes it worst. Lack of clear evacuation processes. Unfortunately, we experienced both a tsunami & a fire warnings and I have to say, even though everyone was trying to help, they did not have a real process in place to guide the guests. Being so close to the beach & to the dry area, I feel like there should be signs all over & a quick guide upon check in, but instead we had to figure things out by ourselves, & that was alarming, thankfully none of those were major. Lastly, play music! It doesn't feel like hawaii bc it's so quiet

The staff were very nice but when we asked for new towels because the ones we had had bugs on them, they did not have staff to bring them upstairs. The place was great and they were able to accomodate a late check out. They have bathroom to use even after you check out and back to retrieve your luggage which I think was great. The major thing we have against the place is that there were roaches and bugs!

Solid 3 star hotel. We booked through Travelocity after a friend recommended this hotel for the location and value. We knew it would be dated based upon their stay so our expectations weren’t too high. We had a very spacious “1 bedroom” which wasn’t truly a 1 bedroom as there was an old school accordion screen dividing the rooms. I probably would have giving this place more stars if it weren’t for the absolutely awful mattresses. They had to have been over 20 years old each. One was as hard as a box spring and the other had 2 human sized indents that you’d fall into and couldn’t roll out of. The full kitchen was wonderful and came in handy for breakfast and packing lunches but there were some cleanliness issues there too. Nothing we couldn’t deal with though… All of that said we didn’t ask to change rooms as it was a booked week and we had our 2 little kids with us. changing rooms felt like more of a racket and a gamble than just staying put. the staff was incredibly kind. And the LOCATION was incredible. Just out front there’s a beautiful calm and sandy beach to float/ swim in and In front of the next resort over there’s great snorkeling. The restaurant at this hotel had friendly service and made a decent burger and fries and had a beautiful ocean view and pool view. I don’t know that I’d book this hotel again. I’d probably try something new. But we’re overall satisfied with our visit

Room was huge and has a fully equipped kitchen. I love that you can walk to the beach. Location is quiet and peaceful. Great for families. Closed to dining and shopping area. Staff are great! Highly recommended! We will definitely be back again.

I honestly wasn’t expecting much since we got such a fantastic deal, but I was extremely surprised by how beautiful and spacious this property is. Our villa was huge, with a full-size kitchen that allowed us to cook meals every night. Some of my favorite memories were gathering around the dining table with my adult kids—a rare treat given their busy schedules. The accommodations far exceeded my expectations. The villa came stocked with high-quality items—silverware, pots and pans, knives, dishes, and more. To top it off, they even provided extras like a cooler, umbrella, snorkeling gear, and beach chairs, which made our beach days so easy and enjoyable. This property truly offers so much value, comfort, and convenience. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing Maui getaway.

Room was set up with the Tv not in front of the bed. The rv could only be seen by sitting on the couch. Water pressure was barely enough to wash all of thr sand off of you. Staff was inconsistent. Several warm and welcoming people but orhers sucked and acted like we were wastinf their time.

When we arrived they said that they had upgraded our room from an ocean view studio to a room that had a partition that separated the bedroom from the living room but had no ocean view. When I inquired about a different room with an ocean view, they said they had no more and I'd have to wait at least one day to move into one. The rooms were dated so if you like that, this is a quaint place to stay. The bathroom door had an extra towel rack installed behind it for no reason so the door only opened half way. I dont know how many times I ran into it in the middle of the night trying to use the bathroom. The kitchen had some basic items that allowed us to cook food a couple of days. If the staff didn't address your needs promptly, they would forget about you. I never heard back about the tv not working and it took several calls to get our bed linen changed. One day we showed up to a random blanket sitting on the bar. The location, pool, and beach were very nice and easy to access. No one bothered us on the beach like at other resorts. The one thing I could never get past was the taste of the water at this resort. Its horrible. Even the supposed water filter stations located on the property tasted the same as the water in the rooms. We ended up buying bottled water the whole time we stayed here.

The rooms were dated so if you like that, this is a quaint place to stay. The bathroom door had an extra towel rack installed behind it for no reason so the door only opened half way. I dont know how many times I ran into it in the middle of the night trying to use the bathroom. The kitchen had some basic items that allowed us to cook food a couple of days. If the staff didn't address your needs promptly, they would forget about you. I never heard back about the tv not working and it took several calls to get our bed linen changed. One day we showed up to a random blanket sitting on the bar. The location, pool, and beach were very nice and easy to access. No one bothered us on the beach like at other resorts. The one thing I could never get past was the taste of the water at this resort. Its horrible. Even the supposed water filter stations located on the property tasted the same as the water in the rooms. We ended up buying bottled water the whole time we stayed here.

Solid 3 star hotel. We booked through Travelocity after a friend recommended this hotel for the location and value. We knew it would be dated based upon their stay so our expectations weren’t too high. We had a very spacious “1 bedroom” which wasn’t truly a 1 bedroom as there was an old school accordion screen dividing the rooms. I probably would have giving this place more stars if it weren’t for the absolutely awful mattresses. They had to have been over 20 years old each. One was as hard as a box spring and the other had 2 human sized indents that you’d fall into and couldn’t roll out of. The full kitchen was wonderful and came in handy for breakfast and packing lunches but there were some cleanliness issues there too. Nothing we couldn’t deal with though… All of that said we didn’t ask to change rooms as it was a booked week and we had our 2 little kids with us. changing rooms felt like more of a racket and a gamble than just staying put. the staff was incredibly kind. And the LOCATION was incredible. Just out front there’s a beautiful calm and sandy beach to float/ swim in and In front of the next resort over there’s great snorkeling. The restaurant at this hotel had friendly service and made a decent burger and fries and had a beautiful ocean view and pool view. I don’t know that I’d book this hotel again. I’d probably try something new. But we’re overall satisfied with our visit

While we enjoyed how close the property was to the beach, our room was about 15 minutes late and they didn’t let us know it was ready until we checked in with them again. There was also a bug in the room, inside one of the frames. We didn’t appreciate that they don’t do any cleaning service. We also paid for an ocean view room and did not get that, we didn’t want to fight it because the room took long enough despite us getting there a bit early.

There was a clear lack of staffing during our stay. The front desk was usually staffed by just one person who had to manage everything, which led to long wait times anytime we needed assistance. Housekeeping was also disappointing—our room wasn’t cleaned at all during the entire week, and the trash was only taken out once.

Hello this place was amazing when we initially got there the ac unit was out and it wouldn’t got past 84°inside the room,but when we told the hotel staff they switched our room immediately! That’s is the only reason I’m doing 4 instead of 5 stars everything else was perfect

Its a nice place. We had a kitchenette so was very convenient. Only thing was our check in started little rough so most of the first day was little off. The check in lady was little rude. Otherwise loved the place.

Staff was very helpful and prompt. Easy to trade beach towels and stocked me up on coffee for the stay. Great beach access, clean villa with all the necessities. No complaints. The castaway cafe in the complex was yummy and on the ocean. Parking was easy.

First unit was a nightmare but the wonderful ladies at the front desk fixed the situation and put us in a safe room . The location is nice the free trolley to whalers village is great . Castaway has good drinks ONLY .

Although a bit older property, it was still nice, and the location and closeness to a great beach definitely makes up for it. So easy to walk down for a quick swim or snorkel. I snorkeled with sea turtles after a quick walk from our room. Also we had a great view of the ocean from our room. We would definitely return to the property.

Quiet option near larger resorts. We usually stay at the Westin next door and found this a quiet option when not wanting to fight the crowds for pool chairs and beach space!

The room was dirty and the staff refused to clean it when asked. The bed had bugs that were biting me at night. Our room was in terrible condition. Our coffee maker and refrigerator was tucked into the closet with a rollaway bed (that wouldn't have fit in the room anyway and just took up the space we needed for the closet. I had stayed here previously and hadn't had this experience, but it really went downhill over the past 5 years. The location is nice and it has good access to the beach, but so do a million other places. I wouldn't recommend it.

Had a great time staying at Maui Ka'anapali. The room was nice and clean, but it is a small room with TV facing the couch, so no watching TV in bed. We had a nice ocean view and parking was included, with the resort fee.....They do serve coffee and snacks in a lobby area in the morning. No restaurant or gift/snack shop within the hotel. It's a nice beach walk and close to the golf course. The staff are all very pleasant and nice. Good location. They do have a fitness room offsite that's pretty empty but enough equipment.

We had an amazing time! The staff was so warm and welcoming! Our room was perfect and was located next to the smaller pool which made it nice to choose between the two offered at the resort. The restaurant at the resort was amazing and we had the best Ahi tuna and braised ribs. We loved that the location was right on the beach and we could easily go there and back to the pool throughout the day and it was close to all the restaurants that we wanted to try this time that we were in Maui.
