Use for business trip, very competitive prices, has an on site restaurant but wasn’t open when stayed so ate next door in Mitchell Hall, both are on the uni campus so a lot of students about.

I returned for graduation at the university campus and was recignised and given a very warm welcome. All my guests and i had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, clean rooms, well stocked tea and coffee with water fountains close by. Great to easily charge my EV, at a very reasonable cost. Breakfast catered for all of our various dietary requirements.

For the price, oustanding facilities. Nice environment, great artwork, good libby and lounge area. Loved the availability of self service hot drinks and water coolers on each floor. The lounges were comfortable and have good facilites to work if required. The fitness suite, pool and sauna were all clean and comfortable. Rooms had a hood size deak, appropriate lamps, powerful showers and comfortable pillows and beds.

Very pleasant one night stay in modern bright training centre located within a University campus. The room was modern, exceptionally clean and extremely comfortable. The centre itself is quiet and has an excellent bar area which serves a good selection of food. I sampled the burger and fries which was excellent. Priced around £15 as a guide. Overall an excellent choice for a one night stay on a reasonable budget. Please be aware that the location is a little isolated with no local shops. Highly recommended.

CMDC is consistantly good , the food , the staff and the facilities- as someone who does 40+ hotel stays a year this is definately in my top three hotels for business use.

The reception staff are really friendly, which is one of the only redeeming features. This is a budget hotel and I only paid around £50 to stay, I wouldn’t pay more. The swimming pool was closed for maintenance and the restaurant was closed for a private group. It’s in the middle of a uni campus, the only thing nearby is a co-op. The bed sheets had hair on them and I assume hadn’t been changed since the previous guest. After letting reception know they moved me to another room immediately which I appreciated. In the second room the towel rail in the bathroom didn’t work. Budget hotel which I understand but I do expect cleanliness, wouldn’t stay again

My only gripe was that the Building itself is not that well sign posted. I kind of knew where it was, but that was intuitive rather than directed. BUT good facilities, friendly staff, good parking-again signs could be better.

Just a 1 night business trip, used the other hotel next to it on the uni campus so would try this as a change. Only negative was the restaurant was shut so had to go next door to the other hotel for a meal.

The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was a good size and had a bath and shower over the bath. Staff were friendly and willing to help. Bar food - choice was good and very good. Breakfast was excellent. Buffett and a great selection from fresh fruit and yoghurt etc to cooked breakfast. Well worth considering staying here in comparison to a budget hotel. Would certainly stay there again whennext in the area.

It was a very stressful experience. Having checked in late in the day to find multiple insects in our room. When we asked the staff about it, they cleaned up the insects they could find and told us that there are no dangerous insects in the UK, so we should be fine to staying in the same room. The staff was reluctant to understand that two huge insects in a room is a display of negligence and a lack of proper cleaning within a room, whether the insects will harm us is besides the point. If the cleaning crew missed two massive insects, it begs the question as to what else was missed. It shouldn\'t come down to the customer to point out the issues in the first place. And to not even receive an apology for this was very shocking and disorienting. We understood that it was a busy night and took a smaller room, the receptionist seemed to challenge our request with statements like "it was our good will that we gave the bigger room to you...", when it the hotel seems to clearly misunderstand what a standard double room for 2 adults entails. Overall a stressful and disorienting experience.

Room was smallish but ok. My main gripe was that I had a sign on my door saying do not disturb but had housekeeping chatting away outside my door at 9am when I was hoping for a lie in. I also heard them banging on other doors and calling out “housekeeping.” Plus I could hear people shouting outside and it turned out there was a building site outside my window. Not relaxing at all.

I stay here most weeks irs always great - this week I was put in a room over the far side of property its ansaur walk from reception - the room was extremely cold and the bed was 2 singles pushed together they were so uncomfortable I had about 3 hours sleep it would have been equivalent to.sleeping on a wooden bench. I wont stay in these rooms again if I do book again. If they dont have the rooms closer to reception I wont bother.

The hotel is clean and staff friendly but unfortunately the beds are small not really a double bed and the room we had was on the front of the building and smokers congregated outside of our window so if you had the window open the room smelled of smoke and considering we requested a no smoking room it was not ideal also noisy with people talking until the small hours.

As a regular business traveler and attending business in and around Bedford I rely on consistent, comfortable and clean accommodation. My stay was booked with some special requirements and was extremely impressed upon checking in that they were noted down. The room was perfect for my long trip and just what I needed to come back to after a long day at work. My trip was longer then initially anticipated and my stay had to be extended and with making a separate booking, they ensured I stayed in the same room with no issues and nothing but politeness. The most impressive thing about my stay was my room was cleaned to perfection every morning without fail by the amazing housekeeping. I really appreciated the complimentary bottled water and hot chocolate and biscuits replenished every day again by the amazing housekeeping. Overall, with staying for here for over a week I felt very comfortable for my extended stay. I Highly recommend this to anyone and look forward to come return once again as and when I do my work in Bedford.

Excellent quiet relaxed location very friendly staff Victoria on reception was great really made us feel welcomed and has excellent customer service every time we visit she is smiling thank you ! Will be back very soon :)

Serviceable if you need to stay in the area. Rooms are fine if dated. Check in was be very slow as there was a lot of people trying to check in at the same time

When we asked the staff about it, they cleaned up the insects they could find and told us that there are no dangerous insects in the UK, so we should be fine to staying in the same room. The staff was reluctant to understand that two huge insects in a room is a display of negligence and a lack of proper cleaning within a room, whether the insects will harm us is besides the point. If the cleaning crew missed two massive insects, it begs the question as to what else was missed. It shouldn\'t come down to the customer to point out the issues in the first place. And to not even receive an apology for this was very shocking and disorienting. We understood that it was a busy night and took a smaller room, the receptionist seemed to challenge our request with statements like "it was our good will that we gave the bigger room to you...", when it the hotel seems to clearly misunderstand what a standard double room for 2 adults entails. Overall a stressful and disorienting experience.

I have not stayed in such a place before. As I did not have a printout of the booking email to hand (only jotted the post code for my sat nav) I was very anxious that there were no signs at all for 'hotel', 'accommodation' or the like. I drove around the campus for a considerable time until, luckily, I found someone who could help. I was fearful that I'd have to give up and seek known accommodation in Bedford. Please put up at the least, a little symbol of a hotel on the incoming sign board.

Room was spacious, location is perfect for visiting Cranfield University but also Milton Keynes. Breakfast was incredible - buffet style allowing from continental to Full English! Enjoyed a few pints in the bar as well!

Good hotel, breakfast was good too. Location is a tad out of the way from central MK but easily accessible and hotel provided a list of good taxi companies. Was £20 to MK Bowl. Staff all friendly. Would stay again.

Very pleasant one night stay in modern bright training centre located within a University campus. The room was modern, exceptionally clean and extremely comfortable. The centre itself is quiet and has an excellent bar area which serves a good selection of food. I sampled the burger and fries which was excellent. Priced around £15 as a guide. Overall an excellent choice for a one night stay on a reasonable budget. Please be aware that the location is a little isolated with no local shops. Highly recommended.

Lovely place to stay. Nice and quiet with plenty of parking. Room was clean comfortable, it was a little small but adequate. Friendly staff. I will definitely be back. Thank you.

My only gripe was that the Building itself is not that well sign posted. I kind of knew where it was, but that was intuitive rather than directed. BUT good facilities, friendly staff, good parking-again signs could be better.

Use for business trip, very competitive prices, has an on site restaurant but wasn’t open when stayed so ate next door in Mitchell Hall, both are on the uni campus so a lot of students about.

Breakfast was excellent. Buffett and a great selection from fresh fruit and yoghurt etc to cooked breakfast. Well worth considering staying here in comparison to a budget hotel. Would certainly stay there again whennext in the area.

The reception staff are really friendly, which is one of the only redeeming features. This is a budget hotel and I only paid around £50 to stay, I wouldn’t pay more. The swimming pool was closed for maintenance and the restaurant was closed for a private group. It’s in the middle of a uni campus, the only thing nearby is a co-op. The bed sheets had hair on them and I assume hadn’t been changed since the previous guest. After letting reception know they moved me to another room immediately which I appreciated. In the second room the towel rail in the bathroom didn’t work. Budget hotel which I understand but I do expect cleanliness, wouldn’t stay again

This was a last-minute booking as we ended up staying the night after this Diaspora Calling at the Super Bowl. From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing. Nothing was too much effort. It’s not a luxury luxury hotel but it certainly has all the amenities needed for a stay. Taxis varied from 10 pound to the coach station, to 15 pound to the train station and around 10 pound again to the Super Bowl. I managed to use the gym throughout my stay each time it was quiet. It’s not a big gym, but it’s enough with weights and some cardio machines. The pool and sauna were clean and easily accessible - with towels available. It had everything that was needed. Would definitely recommend somewhere for a stop over, festival stay or corporate on the university campus

Tremendous value for money. The rooms are well equipped, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the breakfast is excellent. My only observation is that the swimming pool and leisure facilities are a little bit tired, and they’re probably due for an upgrade in the next year or two.
