Restored Distillery, Sunroom + Sauna

There is no need to look any further.This house is a uniquely, perfect combination o f wood & stone which carries on throughout the entire house. In most every room the floors & even the ceilings are made of natural wood, with the walls being made from rock & stone. The furniture & fixtures are incredibly well placed to complement the structure. Even the artifacts and decorative pieces scattered around the house were interesting & well placed. For those of us who love interior design, just being in this house, trying to take it all in, is a continual visual experience for the eyes and mind. The combination is exquisite.Not only is the house perfectly decorated, it's immaculate. The mattresses were comfortable, sheets were crisp, even the pillows were perfect & it has everything you could possibly need. Every utensil & kitchen applicance you can think of is there. All you need to bring are your clothes & some food. I loved every single thing about this house, inside and out.Book this unique experience, you will not regret it!Deb V.

Rustic and refined . It has the charm of a lovely historic home but with all the comforts of modern living.Lots of restaurants and antique shops nearby. Not walkable but a very short drive.

This is the best VRBO we have stayed at. Beautiful home, and the host was honest, communicative, prepared for our stay, and ready for us. It was refreshing and delightful. We are soooooo coming back.

So much has already been written about this house, but it still does not prepare you for what you experience when you arrive. The inside and outside of the house are both gorgeous and the decorations are a beautiful. The hosts are super responsive, even for small questions. Everything you need is there, from high quality toiletries to kitchen equipment and a Weber BBQ. We stayed for 2 weeks and wish we could have stayed longer. The area is very tranquil, and at the same time Lancaster, with lots of restaurants and coffee shops, small theaters, concerts in the parks, is only 15 minutes away. A little longer drive brings you to Mt. Gretna beach for a nice swim, Strasburg rail, birds-in-hand to learn more about the Amish lifestyle or Sight & Sound for a visual theater spectacle. Highly recommended for anyone who likes a luxury home base while exploring the interesting area.

The property and the house was extremely well maintained and comfortable. Beautifully decorated. We all agreed it is well worth a return visit.
