Downtown Oasis: Poolside Condo, Patio & Gym

The pool and gym are the highlight of staying at the Strand. The happy hour at Wicked Cantina is awesome. We stayed almost two and a half months and loved Sarasota so much we bought a furnished Condo off of main street. The unit is very clean and had a very good kitchen. Being near the end it is a bit isolated but the privacy was nice. The pool had a few weeks where it was down for maintenance which was a drag and it took a while to get heated back up. Ample parking on site. Very close to downtown (cheap Uber ride). Host was quick to respond. Check in was easy.

We love the Strand in Sarasota. The condo has access to the pool and a great fitness facility. The balcony overlooks the pool yet feels secluded because of the palm trees close to it. The condo is nicely appointed and has all the amenities. Location is close to the airport and very close to downtown. We are avid walkers and enjoyed being able to walk to downtown. This was our second stay. We hope to be back next year.

We were in Sarasota to enjoy the pleasant temperatures and to visit our granddaughter. The condo offered us a lovely setting to relax. The location was great. We walked to town and drove to nearby beaches. The condo was comfortable, nicely furnished, well equipped and clean. We will definitely book again in the future.
