Modern Hocking Hills Cabin w Hot Tub near Winery

We booked a 3 night stay. The house was very clean and well appointed with newer appliances and a well-stocked kitchen. One of the sliding doors was unlocked at check-in. The beds were comfortable. The hot tub was great. It rained a considerable amount on our trip. We had a fairly major water leak at the bottom of the stairs in basement. This made the basement at the bottom of the stairs fairly wet, and my son actually fell.I don’t fault the owner, the situation was brought to his attention. It is an house and things can go wrong.In the middle of the day on the day before checkout, the power went out. This also is not the fault of the owner. The problem is that without power, there is no Wi-Fi, Internet, and nonexistent cell phone reception. There is also no refrigeration and no plumbing. We had no way of knowing when the power would return, if at all throughout the duration of our stay. We were traveling with young children, and the idea of staying overnight in the middle of nowhere with no electricity was not the vacation we had in mind. We decided to leave before the last night‘s stay after waiting numerous hours for return of power. Our biggest issue was the communication thereafter with the owner, who still has refused to address our situation and will not entertain the idea to compensate us even partially for the last night. Unfortunately we would not stay here again.

Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful view and very quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location, comfy beds, fun fire pit was great hot tub was just right definitely worth a trip back and very easily able to communicate during the whole process

The cabin was very clean and cozy! Very well equipped with anything you might need.

Everything was perfect! Cabin was adorable and very clean. Perfect for our family of 6. We would definitely recommend.
