Excellent place we enjoyed it very much super close to beach access and close to town would of love to used the bbq but was never cleaned and covered in mold besides that 5 star hot tub was excellent like i said great place to stay loved it very much

Perfect little two bedroom house steps away from Chesterman Beach! Kitchen was fully stocked with all your cooking essentials and some which we appreciated so much! Not only was the kitchen stocked but the bathroom was stocked too with plenty of towels, the best shampoo, conditioner and body wash from Saltspring Soapworks and even a hair dryer! The hot tub was the best welcome home after a windy, cool day at the beach. The hosts were so lovely and responded quickly to inquiries. No complaints here! Perfect long weekend away with our family!
Perfect little two bedroom house steps away from Chesterman Beach! Kitchen was fully stocked with all your cooking essentials and some which we appreciated so much! The house is perfect with a big fully stocked kitchen (cooking gear), three bedrooms and living area. Especially nice was the outdoor shower to keep the place clean after the beach and prior to the hot tub. the cost is relatively high but in line with other accommodations and from that perspective a good value. Equally nice was that it is dog friendly which saved the cost of boarding. We'll be back!

The place had everything we needed plus had a hot tub, fire pit and BBQ grill. It was close to Tofino townsite so it was easy to pick up anything needed for meals. The beach was a short walk away and was great for long walks.

Stayed here with my partner and two dogs for our anniversary and everything was perfect. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked, and all rooms were very spacious - more than enough for us! We enjoyed the hot tub nearly every day, which was a treat. Great location with a short walk to Chesterman. Though it’s right off the Pacific Rim Highway, the noise is nearly negligible. Also 10/10 communication with Tofino Rental Vacations, who checked in with us on day one and were always available if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great week in the Whitewater cabin! You are just a block from South Chesterman beach which made for beautiful daily walks. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms are a generous size + the hot tub was perfect as chillier nights set in.

This VRBO was ok. I’m very surprised at the amount of money this cost, to the poor maintenance of the property. I’m going to summarize my review into a plusses and minuses. Plus: - The kitchen was well stocked and had everything needed for 4 people. - The distance to Chesterman beach was a plus. Short walk, and interesting. - Bathroom Essentials were well stocked. - Enjoyed the two complimentary beers provided. - The beds, pillows and blankets were comfortable and well received. - It’s nice to have a hot tub in the back yard. - Internet worked well. Minus: - Kitchen faucet tap was broken and popped off immediately after use. - The provided bluetooth speakers were completely dead, and would not recharge. This is a common problem as per the internet, and was frustrating. - The bathroom door does not lock. - The rear door to the backyard would not stay closed without locking it. - For the amount that we paid, I would expect fully stocked wood in the backyard for fires. It’s frustrating to have to go buy $17 overpriced wood at CO-OP when the owner can spend $150 for a cord that lasts the summer. - No “Pokey Stick” for the fire. - The hot tub lid was broken and waterlogged. This owner has a whole list of rules regarding the hot tub, but because the lid was in such poor maintenance. They don’t seem to care at all. - Poor shower-head in the bathroom. Overall. This should have been better.

We stayed at Whitewater for 4 nights during our trip to Tofino on June and it was by far our best stay ever. The house was private, clean, well-equipped, and the perfect place for us, two kids and dogs to land at the end of every day. Everything we could have needed was already there and the proximity to the beach made our trips super fast and easy. After this, we will no longer be booking hotel rooms for our trips- we will definitely be back ☺️

We stayed for 4 nights for Spring Break with our teenage children, and had a great time. The location is prime, Chesterman is a wonderful place to stay and to hang out. The walk to the beach is maybe 2 min max. The house is nice, comfortable and cozy with great amenities. Hot tub, fire pit, big comfortable beds and high speed internet. Win First time using VRBO and had a great experience. Will leverage this service again.

We had a great stay for 4 days. The home is like a 2 minute walk to the beach which is amazing. They were kind enough to send us some firewood and the home also had many little hidden touches that most other rentals wouldn’t have. The main bedroom mattress could use a bit of flipping and/or fluffing as it’s a bit ‘dippy’ but that’s probably my only negetive comment. Great stay and we would come back for sure.

We couldn't fault our stay at Whitewater. The property is beautiful - so spacious, stylish and well-equipped. It's only a couple of minutes walk to South Chesterman Beach or a walk/cycle to some great local spots (hotel/bar, food truck, local ice creams, small grocery store etc) in the other direction. Danielle the host and Matt the owner were both really helpful and friendly. We'd book again in a heartbeat if we're lucky enough to come back to Tofino!

We had a great stay for 4 days. The home is like a 2 minute walk to the beach which is amazing. They were kind enough to send us some firewood and the home also had many little hidden touches that most other rentals wouldn’t have. The main bedroom mattress could use a bit of flipping and/or fluffing as it’s a bit ‘dippy’ but that’s probably my only negetive comment. Great stay and we would come back for sure.

I have stayed here a few times now and find the location and accommodation to be excellent. A short walk to south Chesterman and a quick drive to Cox. TVR is attentive and responsive. Highly recommend this rental.

Spacious, clean and perfect location. This place had everything we needed for a cozy night in all while being in a great location to get into town and visit all the beaches. Seamless check in and out, and super dog friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

We couldn't fault our stay at Whitewater. The property is beautiful - so spacious, stylish and well-equipped. It's only a couple of minutes walk to South Chesterman Beach or a walk/cycle to some great local spots (hotel/bar, food truck, local ice creams, small grocery store etc) in the other direction. Danielle the host and Matt the owner were both really helpful and friendly. We'd book again in a heartbeat if we're lucky enough to come back to Tofino!

Stayed here with my partner and two dogs for our anniversary and everything was perfect. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked, and all rooms were very spacious - more than enough for us! We enjoyed the hot tub nearly every day, which was a treat. Great location with a short walk to Chesterman. Though it’s right off the Pacific Rim Highway, the noise is nearly negligible. Also 10/10 communication with Tofino Rental Vacations, who checked in with us on day one and were always available if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again!

The place had everything we needed plus had a hot tub, fire pit and BBQ grill. It was close to Tofino townsite so it was easy to pick up anything needed for meals. The beach was a short walk away and was great for long walks.

We had a great week in the Whitewater cabin! You are just a block from South Chesterman beach which made for beautiful daily walks. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms are a generous size + the hot tub was perfect as chillier nights set in.

Overall we were disappointed with our stay, which is hard to write as we met the owner and he was lovely. The listing said the place was family friendly , yet there was no travel cot, highchair, bed guard, nappy bin or plastic kitchen were other than glasses to use for the young children. The place was clean in general but we found bitten finger nails under the sofa, the sofa & all of the soft furnishings like cushions & throws all smelt dirty and there was a general smell in the house of old & dirt which we couldn’t get rid of even with the windows open. The towels were grey and old & the pillows and sheets were old and faded. There are a couple of broken suitcase stands in the wardrobes & a couple of broken bits like wooden frames and coathangers in the wardrobes which for such a high price, should really be tidied up for guests. The previous reviews are great & we don’t like to hold high expectations but when the luxury hotels locally were a similar price we were really disappointed. The fully stocked kitchen and washer/dryer were great. Location was good too, 20-30 min walk from lots of places and right near Chesterman beach. We actually left a day early as we just didn’t really enjoy our stay with our 2 young children. I think some work needs to be done to the place or a more realistic listing & price. We won’t be using VRBO or Tofino rentals again.

Great access to the beach. Host was accessible and very helpful. If I had a single complaint, it was that the folding baggage holder that we chose was missing a nut. There was another one in the closet that was not broken.

We had an awesome time at Whitewater. The house is fantastic and has all the amenities. The location is wonderful, right next to Chesterman’s south. The owner was really helpful. The pièce de résistance was the heated outdoor shower - perfect for after a surf!
