Very nice accommodations. We enjoyed the privacy in a country setting.

Grandby Cottage was charming, the main house magnificant and the grounds were beautiful. The wisteria was in full bloom. I felt like I was taken back in time, expecting a carriage to pull up at any moment.Amanda is a great host and answered all our questions. Our itinerary the day after we arrived was:Day 1 -- Bath. We did the free walking tour (fantastic) and toured the Roman baths.Day 2 -- Stonehenge (We walked instead of taking the bus, which was so much better.) Avebury (one pub in town) and Castle Combe (dinner)Day 3 -- Glastonbury and Wells. I highly recommend going to the evensong at the Wells cathedral. A Sainsbury's was just down the road from the cottage, which was great. Bath wasn't a quick drive -- or maybe we just got twisted around a lot -- so we didn't buzz in for dinner after a day out as we thought we would. But we found plenty of restaurants wherever we went, including Bradford on Avon.

4 of us stayed at Granby Cottage over the weekend. The location and setting was beautiful, the cottage was inviting, warm and cosy. If we required help the Host would have been easily available, however everything was in place.. We thoroughly recommend staying there.

Such a beautifully appointed cottage in the grounds of an amazing country manor. So close to Bradford on Avon, literally 3 minutes to the local pub by car, we timed it! About 20 minutes to Bath, traffic pending. Cottage is spacious and homely too. Decorated with taste; high end furniture, bedding, crockery etc. Lots of doggy goodies available too which was nice.Whilst our stay was excellent and we would love to return and recommend, we did have a few issues with the tv on the first day. Managed to get Prime on the 2nd day so that was ok. When we returned after dark it was a dark walk through the gate/door to the front door. Perhaps a low level solar light might help.Neither point had a detrimental impact on our stay. Oh, fresh bread, butter and milk was much appreciated.
