The Hangout Okaloosa Island Beach Cottage

Check in was easy but when we got there we notice it was not very clean. The carpets were so dirt. They clearly hadn’t been vacuumed. The floors had dog hair and sand on them. All the towel had hair one them, we had to wash them before we could use them. Overall the cleaning people did not do there jobs. The back yard was nice other than the smell of dog poop.and that the gate didn’t latch close so it would just open and close when the wind blow. I would recommend bringing your own pillow as there was only 2 on each bed and they were very stiff. Once we were able to get ahold of the host after 3 days of trying she said the cleaning people could come clean but we only had one more day left and didn’t want random people having access to our stuff. The location was great though. Only took maybe 10 minute to walk to the beach. Also have food and putt putt in walking distance.

The place was super cute and in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!Will rent again!!!

Place was as pictured, location was great! 2 minute walk to the beach and access was super easy. Easy access to the Destin area. The house did smell strongly of smoke when we arrived though, otherwise was clean.
