This cabin was perfect for us! *I saw in one review where a smaller vehicle made it up the driveway just fine...we had to put it in 4wd in our Tundra a couple of times. I'm sure front-wheel cars have an easier time than our heavy truck. *This place is SUPER CLEAN! We were very impressed. *The views were incredible - from inside the house (with all the windows) and outside on the upper deck, and from the hot tub on the lower deck. *The hot tub was super clean also. The jets were perfectly strong for us. Please note there is about a short, 25-step walk to the hot tub on the lower deck. There is no direct access, from the house directly onto to the lower deck. This wasn't a problem for us, just a note for anybody that needed to know that. *The kitchen was very well stocked. The online photos make the bathroom and kitchen look a bit cluttered-this was not the case at all. Very clean without clutter. *The upstairs bed was very comfortable to us and we are super picky about our mattress. *We watched the sunset each night! *There were plenty of towels for the bathroom and hot tub. *We love the Blowing Rock area and hope to return to the Round Cabin again. We packed in a lot during our 3-night stay. Beech Mountain, a couple of breweries, a vineyard, The Speckled Trout, Mast General Store, Fred's Mercantile Store up on Beech, Banner Elk lunch, The Blowing Rock... *The owner's communication was perfect and we just loved the house! This is an excellent mountain top cabin with gorgeous views, room for six overnighters, and is without a doubt, the cleanest property I have ever rented. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. The round cabin is high up the mountain, just south of blowing rock, and it is both quiet, with sounds of songbirds and a lovely place for short or long-term stay. The drive up to the cabin is winding and very steep, and folks should be aware that in winter time it might be a real challenge to get up there. There is a lovely hot tub on one of the two porches, giving you a fantastic view of the Blue Ridge mountains. For those that enjoy a relaxed inside vacation, there were 1 million fantastic books on the bookshelf, a lovely fireplace, and the flatscreen was more than sufficient. Wi-Fi is rather limited, but the renters are great communicators and make that clear in there description of the cabin. Overall, this is a beautiful location and place to spend time, especially if you love the blowing rock area.

The booking and check in process was seamless, there was great communication between owner and us. The house was perfectly located and was very secluded which we loved. The inner decor was quaint and appropriate for this house. The beds were comfortable and the house was spacious. We loved the views and enjoyed grilling on the deck. We used the hot tub which was really nice after a long day of walking. I would highly recommend this unique round home.

Absolutely flawless cabin nestled in the mountains, the place was impeccably clean and had everything you could ever need. We loved the large wraparound porch to watch sunsets in the evening and the jacuzzi for unwinding! We are already planning to return. Wonderful experience!

My family of 5 (3 teenagers) had a great stay at this quiet property. We had the feeling of being in a very secluded spot, but Blowing Rock and its attractions are only a short drive away. We hiked along the Blue Ridge Parkway and spent a day at the Cumberland Gap. We concluded each day in the hot tub, watching the clouds form over the mountains. The provided games kept the kids off their phones, which was a big plus. It was all very relaxing. The cabin was very well equipped, and communication with the owners was seamless. They gave us excellent directions to the cabin. The driveway is a bit steep, but our fully loaded minivan made it with no problem once we put it in low gear.

This is a beautiful, well maintained cabin at the top of a long mountain driveway (the driveway does wind around and is steep but it is in the mountains lol so nothing crazy that you shouldn't expect with a mountain top cabin) with great views at the top. Perfect weather even with a little rain, great porches with seating, a grill and hot tub! The inside has 3 bedrooms, all very spacious, plenty of room in all areas, two full bathrooms (one with a great jacuzzi tub!) and a half bath with laundry. The owner provides all necessities of toiletries, detergent, dishes, towels, linens, etc. It was an easy drive to Blowing Rock and surrounding areas like Boone, the Blue Ridge Parkway and not that far from Linville Cavers and hiking trails. It was so peaceful and relaxing. A smooth process from start to finish making an even more relaxing stay. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in a great mountain getaway.

We did not use the hot tub, however; the fireplace made it so warm and comfortable. The road up to the cabin was not at all like the other reviews. Just go slow and pull over when another vehicle approaches! No problem at all. The cabin was very clean and welcoming. The area was convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock. Lots of great eating places. We went to The Local and Speckled Trout and Bottle to name a few. We love antique shopping. This is the spot for that. We loved our stay and so did our pup M.J. Thank you, Matt! We will come again.

Cabin was super clean. That has always been a question with a vacation rental but the cabin was spotless. Pictures of the views are accurate. We loved the quiet and the long views. It was a wonderful experience.

We had a lovely stay at the Big Round Cabin. Very clean and beautiful sunsets each night. The hot tub was very clean, and added bonus after a long day sightseeing. We hope to be back soon!

We loved this round house especially the views and the location is very close to the shops and restaurants in Blowing Rock . The house was exceptionally clean which is very important to us ! We will definitely be looking to book this round house again next year !

This is a beautiful, well maintained cabin at the top of a long mountain driveway (the driveway does wind around and is steep but it is in the mountains lol so nothing crazy that you shouldn't expect with a mountain top cabin) with great views at the top. Perfect weather even with a little rain, great porches with seating, a grill and hot tub! The inside has 3 bedrooms, all very spacious, plenty of room in all areas, two full bathrooms (one with a great jacuzzi tub!) and a half bath with laundry. The owner provides all necessities of toiletries, detergent, dishes, towels, linens, etc. It was an easy drive to Blowing Rock and surrounding areas like Boone, the Blue Ridge Parkway and not that far from Linville Cavers and hiking trails. It was so peaceful and relaxing. A smooth process from start to finish making an even more relaxing stay. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in a great mountain getaway.

We had a lovely stay at The Big Round Cabin. We were there just a couple of nights and wished we could’ve stayed longer. Good communication, easy check in and out, comfortable furniture(sofas, chairs, and beds), gorgeousspotless cabin throughout, and breath-taking views.

This is an excellent mountain top cabin with gorgeous views, room for six overnighters, and is without a doubt, the cleanest property I have ever rented. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. The round cabin is high up the mountain, just south of blowing rock, and it is both quiet, with sounds of songbirds and a lovely place for short or long-term stay. The drive up to the cabin is winding and very steep, and folks should be aware that in winter time it might be a real challenge to get up there. There is a lovely hot tub on one of the two porches, giving you a fantastic view of the Blue Ridge mountains. For those that enjoy a relaxed inside vacation, there were 1 million fantastic books on the bookshelf, a lovely fireplace, and the flatscreen was more than sufficient. Wi-Fi is rather limited, but the renters are great communicators and make that clear in there description of the cabin. Overall, this is a beautiful location and place to spend time, especially if you love the blowing rock area.

Matt & staff were absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.The house was also great. The views were spectacular and house was super clean and cozy. Will definitely stay here again.

My mom, brother and I stayed here for my brother’s graduation. Beautiful views and very comfortable. The main floor master bedroom worked great for my mom, who struggles with steps. The host was responsive, friendly and provided very clear directions to the property. Once you leave hwy 321 the roads get very steep and narrow so just a heads up. Even still we had no problems in a Honda Civic.

We have been using VRBO for decades now and the Round Cabin is one of the Best stays ever. It was even more beautiful than described. Comfortable and welcoming. Everything essential was provided. The house was clean and nicely decorated. And the windows! They were large and everywhere so everywhere we looked there was a stunning view of the mountains. And the deck was well positioned to accommodate the views. Chris was helpful throughout our rental process. Quick replies and. And a very well laid out manual on how to be in this house. The is definitely a keeper!

Impressed by Chris' attentiveness...with Winter Storm Ember approaching, he called before we arrived and was at the property when we drove up to make us feel absolutely safe. He succeeded; we never worried and had an amazing time. The everychanging view (cloudless or clouds in sunshine/snow every part of the day) was magnificent and breathtaking from the gorgeous living area with the many, big windows (with fireplace in the middle) without even going out to the deck. However, on the round deck, the view seemed unreal..even saw our first snowbow. The entire house was amazingly cozy and spacious, everything we could need was there and more. We enjoyed the jet tub with the heat lamps above and of course the hot tub:D Thank you for such a memorable stay!!!

We had the perfect time here in this beautiful home! We started out staying 1 night, had such an amazing time that we stayed for two more nights! The communication with the owners was excellent! The home is absolutely beautiful . The beds were so comfortable and the view from the home was incredible! We are so thankful to have stayed here. We WILL be back!!

The cabin was nice and road access to it was just as described, we were lucky to have good, dry weather but even with 4 wheeled drive Jeep would not want or recommend to drive on the 2mi stretch from main road to the cabin. Matt and Christopher were nice answering promptly any questions or concerns we had.

The booking and check in process was seamless, there was great communication between owner and us. The house was perfectly located and was very secluded which we loved. The inner decor was quaint and appropriate for this house. The beds were comfortable and the house was spacious. We loved the views and enjoyed grilling on the deck. We used the hot tub which was really nice after a long day of walking. I would highly recommend this unique round home.

My family of 5 (3 teenagers) had a great stay at this quiet property. We had the feeling of being in a very secluded spot, but Blowing Rock and its attractions are only a short drive away. We hiked along the Blue Ridge Parkway and spent a day at the Cumberland Gap. We concluded each day in the hot tub, watching the clouds form over the mountains. The provided games kept the kids off their phones, which was a big plus. It was all very relaxing. The cabin was very well equipped, and communication with the owners was seamless. They gave us excellent directions to the cabin. The driveway is a bit steep, but our fully loaded minivan made it with no problem once we put it in low gear.

Could not recommend this house enough for a vacation. The house itself is in great condition, was very clean and came with more items than a majority of VRBO houses we’ve stayed in (I.e. didn’t have to spend money on trash bag, PT, Etc.). The views of the mountain are incredible and it feels very secluded while also being close to plenty of restaurants/shopping/etc. Hot tub was a nice amenity and it was well maintained and clean, house included listing of things to do in the area that was helpful, etc. The hosts are direct and responsive communicators, very helpful. 10/10 hosts. The road up to the house is pretty intense, would recommend a car made for the mountains. After we got used to the drive up to the house it wasn’t bad and I enjoyed the ride.

We did not use the hot tub, however; the fireplace made it so warm and comfortable. The road up to the cabin was not at all like the other reviews. Just go slow and pull over when another vehicle approaches! No problem at all. The cabin was very clean and welcoming. The area was convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock. Lots of great eating places. We went to The Local and Speckled Trout and Bottle to name a few. We love antique shopping. This is the spot for that. We loved our stay and so did our pup M.J. Thank you, Matt! We will come again.

Loved our stay at your property, beautiful home, very clean, and tastefully decorated, beds was comfortable, the view was amazing, we spent a lot of time on the deck listening to the birds, taking in the views of the mountains and enjoying the hot tub. You felt like you were far away from a town, but actually you are only about 5 minutes away. Would recommend this property.
