Hawthorn Cottage - sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms

Booked Hawthorn Cottage for the weekend of my 50th birthday. We were 4 adults and 2 dogs. House was beautiful, clean, modern and welcoming. Secure garden was perfect for the dogs, and would be beautiful with the bi fold doors in the summer. Bathrooms and bedrooms were all clean and modern. The kitchen was very well equipped and stocked well. We loved the dining table and chairs, very large and comfortable. A couple of negative points were that we did find the beds a bit hard, but that’s just personal choice. The sofa in the lounge area wasn’t great. For 4 of us it was big enough to relax on, but any more and it would have been very squashed. If the house was fully occupied with 8 people there definitely isn’t enough sofa space. We found it to be very low and quite uncomfortable. Overall a lovely well located house.

A really lovely place to stay with a perfect space for entertaining. Our only niggle was that the pillows were pretty uncomfortable.

Well equipped for 8 people and a great location to access the Cotswolds Beds and pillows were very firm Showers towels etc were great
