Beach studio w/patio- AC - Free parking & laundry!

First, when I booked this VRBO, the owner messaged me asking if I was having cosmetic surgery. When I replied yes, she acted as if she didnt want to host me. She then sent me a list of items I need to bring of my own (towels, wash clothes, mattress cover, pillow covers, etc) so I wouldn't dirty hers. I assured her, I am a nurse and I wouldn't damage her items. I also informed her if she wanted me to book somewhere else, I would!When we arrived, we had no issues with check-in. The door and gate codes were sent to us prior to check-in. The VRBO looked clean upon arriving. However, we had an abundance of roaches in the kitchen. I messaged the owner, they stated they would send someone out to spray, we never seen anyone come spray! My husband had to buy roach spray and spray himself! We had to buy storage bags to keep all of food in and we could leave anything in the kitchen. I took pictures, however I cant upload them to this review, or I would! Also, the air unit mounted to the wall leaked water the entire stay! We had to place a mop bucket under the unit to catch the water and we still had to clean water up from the floor the entire stay. So at night, we had to hear water dropping in the mop bucket all night! Plus, we were emptying the mop bucket often. I will not stay here for my next surgery, and I'm very disappointed to spend the money I did, to stay here!
