My stay at Comfort Inn & Suites was okay, to say the least. The room itself was decent, but there were a few issues that made the stay inconvenient. The phone in my room didn’t work, so when I needed assistance, I had to go all the way back downstairs to speak with someone. On top of that, the elevator button was broken. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible stay, but there is definitely room for improvement with maintenance and making sure everything in the rooms is working properly.

I admit that the reservation was a late booking. However I would have preferred to not be given a room over getting a room with issues. The room I was in on night one of my stay had an odor as soon as I walked in. I took it upon myself to use an air freshener that I had. It was ok for a while but not long. After a while I noticed that the carpet near the ac unit was damp. I concluded that this was the source of the mildew smell. In addition the unit was not cooling to my liking and the quality of the tv display was poor. I did remain in the room for the night as it was late, although I was quite uncomfortable. The next morning I brought these issues to the attention of the staff. The staff was understanding about the situation and I was given a different room for night two which I greatly appreciated. Issue here is that in listening to their conversation amongst each other and with a gentleman who walked in later, the problems in the room were known and had occurred previously. I’m not certain on how recent. The second night of my stay was better.

First of all, do not listen to all the negative reviews!!! The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and perfect for our stay. We have stayed all over the world and this is definitely NOT a bad place by any stretch at all. The beds were super comfortable and the sheets and cover very clean. There is literally NO reason not to stay here. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet as well.

The staff was very friendly, informative, and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The entire establishment was very clean. I truly enjoyed staying here! Highly recommend it to anyone needing a hotel stay in the Clinton/Jackson area.
