This was a beautiful hotel, rooms were large and very clean and quiet. pool and spa were wonderful. If you choose, they have a gold course as well. Attached restaurant and gift shop were awesome. The people are the best, very friendly and helpful. Just around the corner from Zion national park.

Completely updated rooms. Retro style restaurant was very good. The 24 hour hot tub and pool were awesome. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel. Nice laundry room. The 9 hole Golf course on the property was a nice surprise! Very nice restaurant. The home made pies were fantastic, especially the apple pie with rum sauce! Only issue was that the breakfast was not included in our stay, and we wanted to go into Zion NP earlier than the restaurant opened. We made do by buying sausage biscuits and orange juice at the convenience store at the location. This served our needs.

Great experience. Great location between Zion and Bryce Canyon. Restaurants are far apart in this area, and having a restaurant on site was great. Pool and hot tub were great after a long day of hiking, and are open 24-hours! Service was great, and I think the person assisting me was a member of the family that owns the place. He was very proud of the place, invested in our experience, and had a sense of humor. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that our final morning the started doing some kind of construction/remodeling in the unit above us at 8am, which really frustrated a few members of my family.

This was the best hotel of our National Park tour. Parking was easy and right by our door. Really nice and updated room and bathroom. The most comfortable bed and pillows. Coffee like home. Attention to detail and friendly. Vaulted ceiling was a nice feature and made the room seem very large. Plantation shutters topped it off. Restaurant had the best food and pies! Surrounded by a golf course and mountain range.

Had a beautiful setting. Jacuzzi pool felt amazing after hiking all day. Beds and pillows were super comfortable. Owner was very helpful and friendly. Food at the Thunderbird was excellent. Our waiter was great too!

Almost everything about this stay was great. Almost. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub, I liked the mountain-style decor in the room (lots of carved wood), I was grateful to have a fridge in the room, there was a nice big table to work at, and the argon-oil lotion and shampoo were great. The staff I met were professional, kind, and helpful. The on-site restaurant and gift shop are impressive. Thunderbird let me know before my arrival that its on-site restaurant would be closed that day, which helped me come prepared to feed myself. After snacking on popcorn, I was picking up a few pieces I had dropped and noticed a couple of what looked like pieces of popcorn underneath the other side of the table. "Wow--I didn't think I had dropped that much--and how did they get over there?" I wondered. Alas, it was not popcorn--it was potato chips, left by some prior guest. It worries me that something so basic as vacuuming was not done after (how many?) prior guests had departed. That's my only complaint.

Well located just east of Zion and about an hour south of Bryce. Rooms are spacious, well updated, and the log furniture really fits the feel of the area. The onsite restaurant is nice and convenient and has a nice 50s western diner feel. Staff were super friendly and the room was clean.

They nailed it. This is not a five star hotel, but for what it is, it is perfect. The room is rustic in style, but not overdone. Materials are quality and newer. As a remodel contractor I notice the workmanship that went into the construction and this was done by workers with attention to detail. It was the nicest room I have seen in a roadside motel. The only disappointment was the soft water, of which I am not a fan, but to each his own. The following night I stayed in a BW in San Diego and there was no comparison.

Quiet, beds were very comfortable, guy at the check-in was friendly and had lots of info, shower was fantastic. Wish I would have stayed there more nights and driven into Zion each morning instead of enduring the rip-off that is Springdale.

Overall it was a good stay. The only complaint was everything around the hotel was dead after 9pm. Also the radiant heater kept repeatedly popping when cooling off and heating up. Woke me up at 3 am.

We checked in after spending the day at Bryce Canyon National Park. Nick, at the front desk, checked us in and offered us a plethora of information. He answered questions we didn’t know we had! Upon our arrival in our room, we were pleasantly surprised. It was spacious and very well appointed! There was a Keurig coffee maker, microwave and a stylish mini fridge. The bathroom had a large shower with a rain shower head and handheld sprayer! It was just what we needed after a long day of hiking. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We slept great! I wish we could have stayed longer!

No one at desk until 3pm. Left a day early, went to office the night before at 9pm and was greeted with a no vacancy sign. No one there. Parking lot had 10 vehicles in it. I guess they never knew we left a whole day early.

Check-in was easy and quick. The gentleman that checked me in gave me options for dining since the restaurant was going to be closed the next morning and was very nice. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was clean and the property itself was well-maintained. I would definitely recommend this to anybody needing a place to stay in the area.

Great experience. Great location between Zion and Bryce Canyon. Restaurants are far apart in this area, and having a restaurant on site was great. Pool and hot tub were great after a long day of hiking, and are open 24-hours! Service was great, and I think the person assisting me was a member of the family that owns the place. He was very proud of the place, invested in our experience, and had a sense of humor. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that our final morning the started doing some kind of construction/remodeling in the unit above us at 8am, which really frustrated a few members of my family.

This is a great hotel if you are visiting Zion National Park the following day. It has great access to East Rim trails and East Park entrance.

The property is quiet, pretty much one of the only places in the area besides the gas station and subway. Staff was nice. Restaurant was not open during our stay. Room was clean.

Restaurant is terrible! Overpfor mediocre food! Service was great , food terrible! French fries came out cold! No one asked, why didn't you eat them... they must've sat there for an hour before served:( Second time I tried this place, never again:(

This was a nice hotel and I would recommend it. The room was spacious and clean.the restaurant for breakfast was really good. Dinner got really busy and the wait was an hour. The meal was just ok as the beef was tough.the history of the place is fascinating and the Ho Made Pies are a piece of this history. I’m not a dessert person but they looked good.

The staff was super friendly and the location was great. A week before our trip, we were messaged that the restaurant would be closed for portions if our stay. Limited food options otherwise. They use those awful "daylight" bulbs everywhere which is cold and unwelcoming. The bed was really springy, and had two divets where previous vacationers slept...

The room was clean and comfortable. The place seems more updated than the actual pictures. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We arrived at 1:40 am and still accommodated us at that hour. The pool and Jacuzzi's open 24 hours, which is unheard off compared to anywhere else. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place. It's next to a golf course which provided such a beautiful back patio view. It was beyond my expectations.

The room was clean and cozy, but the best part of our stay was the friendly and helpful staff! We arrived at the hotel late and the front desk clerk was so kind in helping us find food before everything was closed. He went above and beyond!

I’ve always stayed on the west side of Zion but from now on I will stay on the east side at this hotel. The grounds were beautiful with a lovely outdoor pool & hot tub. It has its own golf course! Each room has a private deck so I could sit outside & enjoy it. They also had a restaurant & store. It was wonderful!
