THE TREVONE, Llandudno

Having asked to stay an extra night we were told yes but we have to change you to another room,a better room with a king size bed and still a sea view. Well the bed was NOT king-size , we had booked single beds because we sleep better in single beds. We had 4 nights of interrupted sleep because the bed was too small and even though it was sea view you had to stand to see it. The en suite was really small and the door couldn't be fully open before it hit the basin.The owners were very friendly and cheerful and we had the small breakfast with tea and orange squash for £8.50 which we thought was reasonable. No toiletries were provided so I'm glad we had our own. A hairdryer was provided as was an iron and ironing board.The shower cubicle had a rubber mat in it. No housekeeping i.e. bed making and cleaning was provided in the 4 days we stayed due to 'covid' even though other hotels did provide this.we were able to ask for clean towels when we needed them. No noise from the guests next room. We had to pay cash for our stay due to unforeseen circumstances. No parking except for street parking and a back street which was for whoever got there first but not legal parking.

Good, clean property that is convenient for the shops, pier and Great Orme. I was in single room which was compact, though it did have all the amenities one would expect. The hotel is not manned all the time, which meant that if you wanted a night cap or just a quiet drink in the evening, you had to go out. I was only there for three nights and the hotel suited my needs. I cannot comment on the food as I ate out with family who were attending the same function and have a static caravan nearby.

Very good, just the lift not Very good a bit out dated, only takes one person. Food was very good.

Okay. Lots of rules. Nobody there to greet us. Key to the room was left in an envelope outside the front door with our name on it. Bathroom could have been bigger. Beds were not very comfortable. Need some drawers in the room as nowhere to put clothes apart from hanging. Lift was dodgy, had to go up one at a time. Sea view was great.

No Chef, no bar, lift not working, leaking toilet, very cold lounge, no staff overnight and very little during day. No other residents seen or heard, sign on door saying “Closed”

We had the below ground floor Room 2 and was very pleasantly suprised how clean everything was with fresh towels and bedding and tea and coffee facilities. The room was small with its own shower bath and toilet, perfect for two people and the manager was around the hotel alot. We will definetly go again and hopefully book here. There is even a lift that is very easy to use for all floors so access isnt a problem for anyone. Recommended. Small tv with freeview in the room and kettle and two single beds very comfy.

Good position. Near beach,shops& cafes. Not too far from the theatre. Breakfast available as an extra. Lovely hosts. Free parking on street for blue badge holders.

Beautiful views of the bay, pier and prom. Very clean and comfortable twin room. Friendly owners there to help.

Did not want card payment, did not want to provide receipt. Bathroom was internal room, no ventilation and smelt very stale, beginning of mould on ceiling and paint flaking. Only shower was over bath and very lukewarm water. Charged £75 for this. No recommended.

Clean and tidy. Staff friendly.

My son put his coat in the wardrobe and it came out dusty room was tired, but the staff were friendly

Very friendly. Very clean . being over critical the plumbing/fixtures in the bathroom were poorly done. A couple of loose screws on the shower head bracket etc.tile grouting poor standard. But that's me being very picky. Over all nice and pleasant and clean. Definitely value for money.

Staff were friendly and stay was quiet at night. Few niggles, I’m afraid . Sliding door to bathroom, inoperative, wallpaper, peeling And very loud Creek in centre of shower room, which must annoy people below

Not comfortable our room was on the ground floor just off the hallway- desperately needs improvement feels very old - property looks nice from outside but disappointing inside- seemed clean enough and bathroom seemed clean but just feels grubby because it’s so old. It was £120 for one night (a Monday!) your paying just for location! I won’t go back.

I loved that my room overlooked the sea (as I'd asked for) and that I drifted off to sleep to the sound of the waves. Unfortunately wooden floors, very creeky beds and other reside ta klunking around kept waking me up. Owners friendly and helpful but looked rather tired, bit like the decor!

Check in was quick but unpleasant, greeted by someone who did want to be there. Bed was uncomfortable, it was noisy, & the shower was ridiculous, water barely warm & positioned too high up so it didn’t work properly.

Booking in was ok, my room was ok with a view of the Great Orme plus a fan for very hot weekend.

Excellent location on the seafront, Philip and Felicity the owners are very welcoming and friendly we had a fantastic stay with them and will definitely be retiring

Location was very nice on the sea front very near the town centre and about 10 minutes away from railway station.

Great hotel, right in the sea front.

The property is clean and just in front of the sea and the view is fantastic. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Brilliant and very convenient place to stay, great for walking and running activities.

Was close to everything we needed enjoyed our stay.

Greated with a warm welcome & a friendly smile. Asked every morning if i needed anything. Breakfast was delicious & very filling. My room was spotlessly clean & nice & warm. Nothing was too much for the lovely couple who run the Trevone. Will definitely return
