Citadines Central Shinjuku Tokyo

The location was excellent, but the amenities were very subpar for the price we paid for two beds ($400USD/night). Moreover, the air conditioning did not work and the outlets were extremely limited. They did bring up fans and extension cords, but the value was lost for what it was. 3/5.

All the staff were very kind and supportive throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated. However, the rooms are showing clear signs of age. Of the two rooms we booked, one had a strong cigarette smell despite our request for a non-smoking room. The other had quite worn furniture, a TV that was not working, and wallpaper peeling off the walls. Overall, considering the price, the condition of the rooms did not meet expectations.

Shinjuku was a good location for access to 🌸 cherry blossoms but it’s a little too gritty for me. If you’re a younger couple,or single it’s probably more for you.
