The staff was very friendly & helped accommodate an early check in so that I could make it to a wedding on time. The room & property were clean & welcoming. I felt safe in the area it was located. Parking was out in front of my room. It was a short distance from wedding venue, stores, food, bars, shops, and Frog Jumping Jubilee! Only downer...our room had coffee & tea but for children who don't drink either option it would be nice for hot chocolate to be a choice. It would also be great if they offered a simple free breakfast.

Satisfactory, clean, easy to check in. Hotel is not right near the downtown area and pool didn't look overly welcoming... but we had no complaints. For the price we didn't expect much more.

Was just a place to sleep. Tv only has one channel. Internet was bad. Clean room. Nice pool. Friendly staff, didn’t even ask for ID or credit card on check in. No coffee pot in room.

The sheets on one of the beds were not changed from the last guest, and there are hairs on the tub and in the sink. Cleaning crew needs to do better. Other than those important things, it’s fine. Just glad I’m traveling alone.

Had to pay an extra cleaning deposit for our dog which would be fine if our room was clean. Someone else’s clothes, chip crumbs and wrappers in drawers, and hair in the shower were all left for us. Disgusting!

Very dirty, rundown. Our sheets were dirty, the room smelled like smoke even though it was a non smoking room? our sink was leaking and they were unable to move us to another room.

The booking confirmation said to call ahead if we’re checking in late than 8. I called 3 times and never got ahold of anyone until the 4th call. 3 times on hold the entire time. Then when we checked in the room was completely dirty and had clearly not been cleaned after use which was super weird I’ve never had that happened ever. We went to the front desk to let the host know and he had left, like literally drove away from the hotel. So we waiting for a while for him and then he finally comes back and gives us a new room. We walk to the new room and the keys didn’t work for the room. So we walked back and the dude had driven away again??? So we waite again and then finally got into a clean room. Crazy service

It was convenient to check in online as it saved me a lot of desk time. Room was clean and quiet as they put us in the back away from the roadway. Two pillows each, plenty of towels, signs of recent remodeling.

Overnight stay for a concert in Murphys at the Ironstone Amphitheater. Only about a 15 mile drive to and from. Room was perfectly adequate, clean, quiet with comfortable bed. Motel has no food services and dining in the area is very limited.

First they checked me into an already-occupied room. And the second day my keys stopped working, despite it being a 2-night stay, and I had to get new ones made. And the WiFi didn't work for the entire duration of the stay. This was a terrible hotel experience.

Thin walls and understaffed. Only about half the electrical outlets in my room were working. Lightbulbs were missing and previous guest's food was left in the fridge. However, staff was responsive when I mentioned it. I think they are doing their best but they are way understaffed.

Property and room were clean! Check-in was quick and easy. When I went to checkout a worker named MIke offered some freshly brewed coffee in a very kind manor. Made for a great start to the day. I felt he really enjoyed his job and cared about making guest happy. It is not like that everywhere so Thank you to Travel Lodge and employees!

The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are spacious and clean. However, the front desk service was not great. I called per the recommendation on the website to let the staff know I was coming. Said I would be there in a few minutes. Got to hotel in 10 minutes from phone call and staff was at lunch. I waited for 40 minutes to check in and then I was given a room far away from parking when the hotel was not busy. Will not stay again for these reasons.

Although this says it’s a “Wyndham property” this property sucks… They have no breakfast, not even an option to purchase breakfast. There’s no coffee there’s no amenities, no water, customer service is virtually nonexistent… the front office closes by 11pm so if you have an issue with your key or getting in your room after 11 PM you’re screwed. We paid over $300 for this place, it is subpar, the service is next to none. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone else. The staff said that Windham does no longer support the individual owner operators, but the owner operator needs to get their stuff together, or this place will wither away in the dust.

Staff is incredibly rude it’s very inconvenient to stay here no one is on site literally after 9 PM so say your key gets demagnetized or lost or left somewhere you can’t get back in your room after 9pm. Say you miss the window of office hours and you’re coming from out of state and you run into some unexpected weather which causes you to arrive later than 9pm. you literally have no one to check you in AND they won’t refund your money. The staff is incredibly rude. Man from front desk banging on my door because I had a dog but Expedia said it was dog friendly no one asked me if I had a dog the Hilton the Hampton Inn motel six among others you just walk in with your dog and it’s fine so I didn’t think anything of it then they wanted to charge me $200 for having a dog there for one night because of cleaning fees when my dog was cleaner than the employees who worked there guaranteed and smelt better too. Rudest stuff I’ve ever encountered don’t know why people have to be so goddamn awful

The staff was very friendly & helped accommodate an early check in so that I could make it to a wedding on time. The room & property were clean & welcoming. I felt safe in the area it was located. Parking was out in front of my room. It was a short distance from wedding venue, stores, food, bars, shops, and Frog Jumping Jubilee! Only downer...our room had coffee & tea but for children who don't drink either option it would be nice for hot chocolate to be a choice. It would also be great if they offered a simple free breakfast.

Satisfactory, clean, easy to check in. Hotel is not right near the downtown area and pool didn't look overly welcoming... but we had no complaints. For the price we didn't expect much more.

Travelodge in Angels Camp was just what we needed while attending a wedding in the area. Extremely clean, comfortable and convenient location in town; everything you need is available within a short distance, including several places to eat, shop, fuel stations, the fairgrounds, etc. I would stay here again if I needed to and recommend this place to anyone.

Overnight stay for a concert in Murphys at the Ironstone Amphitheater. Only about a 15 mile drive to and from. Room was perfectly adequate, clean, quiet with comfortable bed. Motel has no food services and dining in the area is very limited.

Although this says it’s a “Wyndham property” this property sucks… They have no breakfast, not even an option to purchase breakfast. There’s no coffee there’s no amenities, no water, customer service is virtually nonexistent… the front office closes by 11pm so if you have an issue with your key or getting in your room after 11 PM you’re screwed. We paid over $300 for this place, it is subpar, the service is next to none. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone else. The staff said that Windham does no longer support the individual owner operators, but the owner operator needs to get their stuff together, or this place will wither away in the dust.

We have stayed here before. however, property is deteriorating, office was closed at 8am when you need to check out. no breakfast though we signed up for it and paid, no trash receptacles near sink or in bath as were before. other than handyman who tried to help, no other employees were visible in 2 days we stayed there.

Was just a place to sleep. Tv only has one channel. Internet was bad. Clean room. Nice pool. Friendly staff, didn’t even ask for ID or credit card on check in. No coffee pot in room.

Wasn’t walkable to anything…properties clean and inviting, parking was horrible as they put us in a handicap room without being handicapped therefore parking wasn’t clear. Room was clean however coffee supplied was decaffeinated and not restocked or room cleaned for the next night stay.

In the hundreds of hotels I've stayed in, I've never had to pay a charge for early check-in. This was a first, so I chose to wait until 3 to check in. There were no wash cloths in the room. The phone was not hooked up and it had some weird cords I could not figure out how to hook it up. I had to go downstairs to the office to ask for washcloths. I'm sure the description said they had free breakfast, but when asked they said they no longer serve breakfast. Stayed 2 nights and we had to take our wet towels to the office to request fresh towels. The room was very spacious. The bed was comfortable. Only 2 cups for coffee and they were not replaced the second day.

The furniture and interior appear to all have been updated from past years when we were here. Very nice, quiet, good lighting. my ONLY complaint is that this is the first time there wasn't tea bags in the room and I was so looking forward to a cup of tea Saturday night! Everything else was just great!

Our plane was 2 hours late so we didn't get to the hotel until 3am. Figured we'd get at least some sleep. We showed up to the hotel and the doors were locked. We called probably 30 times and knocked on the door. No one ever answered. We tried for an hour and a half. Called the number in the door and the number hotels.com has for them. Left many messages. Never received a reply at all. Not even the next day. Ended up paying for a hotel down the street. Where there was actually someone at the desk. C. Good luck if you try this place.

Hotel is under renovation. Rooms were done already and are very nice. Staff was very helpful. We had the same guy, Michael Jackson, checking in and out. He moved us to a ground floor accessible room at our request. Would stay again.

The whole place had a smell, especially in the lobby. The shower was backed up and icky. There was no staff in the lobby when trying to check out in the morning. It was around 10 AM and stood there for a good 10 mins but nobody came in to assist. They sent a link for checking out online but link was broken so had to go to the office..

Michael Jackson was amazing. Very helpful and quick to assist. I will say that I didn’t have hot water in the shower, and my toilet would not flush-but they fixed the toilet immediately. Michael had fresh coffee and donuts in the office which I thought was very nice. Overall it was a great stay and I would definitely visit again.
