The picnic area and pond befind it was nice. The room had candy and trash on the floor. There was people's hair all over the bathroom.

There was no one at the front desk. I had to call the hotel to see if anyone could come to the desk. The room was not ready at check-in time. Overall, the staff was pleasant, engaging and very interested in sharing information about the city and what activities were available. They just seemed very disorganized. The room was large and seemed clean. However, we found a single immature cockroach walking around in the sink. The internet was painfully slow. A luggage cart would have been a great amenity, as the distance from the lobby to many of the rooms is significant.

As previous stays, it's a nice place enjoy watching the ducks at the pond.

No elevator, I’m 65 and on 3rd floor. Too far and too many steps to carry luggage.

Front desk guys were very nice. Beds were comfortable and it was a great value for the price. The fresh coffee and waffles were a nice perk too! And we loved our little duck visitors too!

Far from the highway. Area seems unsafe. Parking was pretty tight, not suitable for big suvs with trailers or RVs.

My first night there I was attacked by bedbugs. The next day, management accommodated my request for a different room. The rest of my time there was fine.

The bathroom shower mat was dirty, the filter in the AC was dirty. Under the dresser there was old candy and dirt overall the room was not very clean the carpet felt dirty

The room definitely needed upgrading. Black grout in tub tile, one sink all cracked, tissue box badly rusted, one sink held together with caulking, back of bathroom door veneer missing, burned out light bulb, no USB outlets, no clock, noisy plumbing, seat didn'tmatch toilet size and was at an odd angle. Bed and pillows were comfy. Would have been nice to have a second chair.

Dirty and smelly

The room was very clean and smelled good. The office staff was friendly and the breakfast waffles were really good. th bathroom door needs to be replaced and the caulking had mold on it. Other than that it was very good

Shower curtain was moldy. Bathroom mat was moldy. There has not been money spent to maintain the room in a very long time.

The staff was very pleasant. However, the suite was dirty. The furniture was dusty. The tub had black mold around the edges. It seemed to be the forgotten room that needed cleaning again. Thank goodness our linen was clean on the beds.

Needed to be updated. The back of the toilet had cigarette burns and stained and anything silver colored was rusted and dirty looking

The rooms inside are very nice, clean and updated with a huge TV. Skimpy on the toilet paper (one small roll and no tissues). A bit odd to check in standing outside in the cold. Kind of like going up to a DQ from long ago. Disappointing to have to check out by 10:00 even when a Gold Hotels.com member. It was a Sunday and everything around is closed until 12:00 or so. So we feel like we missed out on experiencing the charming city.

The bed was comfortable and the AC worked great. No protein included in the breakfast though and the room smelled a little bit like smoke/mold/musty.

Had few issues with room key reader taking more than 2 attempts to unlock.

The central air unit did not cool the room down Besides this hiccup it was a good stay

It’s good enough for a place to sleep. Inexpensive. Old, but seemed clean

Stayed at this location at the beginning and the end of a faĺl break trip. First stay was great, no problems. Excellent service. Day host told us about a beautiful waterfall just a short drive away. Second stay we had issues with the A/C in 2 different rooms but staff was great and got it all straightened out. Beds super comfortable. Breakfast basic. Coffee good.

Close to the interstate and a great location to restaurants and shopping. Staff was friendly and helpful! Rooms were very clean. However, the Air conditioner didn't work very well. It was very warm and to uncomfortable to get a good night sleep.

We checked in approximately 9 p.m. and were given a room with an adjoining room door. We were just passing through and only stayed the 1 night. Around 2 a.m. a couple else checked into the adjoining room. They were arguing VERY loudly and tried to open the adjoining door. I called the front office and nobody did anything at all. I ended up getting out of bed and knocking on the door. Nobody answered, so I just said "it\'s very late, and you are being very loud". A woman answered through the door that "we just got here". I would highly recommend avoiding this motel as it seemed to be full of drug users and illegal immigrant workers. In the morning, when we were checking out, the woman working the front desk had her very young child (kindergarten or 1st grade) in the office and seemed to be getting her ready for school, they were obviously living at the property. The evening staff at check in were no different. Very very poor experience.

We booked a room at the Rodeway Inn, which is the closest hotel to an ill relative we were visiting. 5/17. -5/23 It was a horrible experience all around. First, our door lock would not open with the key card. The first day we had to call the front desk twice to be let in. The first time I almost felt bad for the guy because we were on the second floor up a horrible staircase. The second time, not so much. Other things wrong with the room (and I have pictures): Knob to turn on one of the lights was missing. You had to try turning a thin metal stick to turn it on and off. Mold in the shower. The hair dryer in the bathroom was broken, had chips out of the plastic, had burned plastic on it as well as being so dirty and disgusting, I felt the need to use hand sanitizer. Rust on the metal tissue box holder. A very “not up to electrical code” three way electrical plug running the coffee maker, the refrigerator, and the microwave. The door chain to our room is missing. It’s not that it doesn’t work or is falling apart. It is MISSING! When I asked if we could be moved to another room with a working door lock I was told it would be $10 more a night if he could but since we booked through Expedia he couldn’t make the change. After telling our TN family members where we were staying, they were shocked and appalled because it is a well known location for drugs. I want to warn people to NOT stay here and I think Expedia should not include the Rodeway Inn on their list of hotels.

Great place to stay for stop off the I-75. About 4 minutes from the hi-way and lots of dining options around. Try the Lazy Beagle 2 minutes down the road. Circle K across the street has the cheapest gas around. King room we had was spacious and clean. Friendly counter staff was accommodating and served a basic breakfast with a waffle maker. Great overnight stay for the price.

Outstanding customer service at check-in.

It says on the website you have to be 18 to book. I went there and the front desk woman said that the website I booked from "doesn\'t know hotel policies" that I had to be 21 to book. It was around 9pm and they told me the hotel room was non refundable. I spent 45 minutes trying to get my room refunded through a customer service agent. Then ended up having to drive to Athens to book another hotel that didn\'t lie on their website about being able to book at 18.

The rooms were clean but dated. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

This was an excellent location close to the interstate and food and fuel. My stay was quiet and refreshing.

The area has a lot around and some fun places close by to go so..

The first room they gave us smelled nasty (like mothballs). The next room was not great but didn’t smell as bad. The carpet was nasty (would've dare walk on it barefoot). Across the street was a burnt up mobile home with other mobile homes that were falling apart.

The price is good and the place is near the stores.

Wonderful for the cost. Comfortable, old but clean, and very friendly staff. Convenient to a cvs and multiple fast food but not a super busy area.

This is our favorite place to stay!!! There is a good variety to breakfast, including waffles, bagels & Philly cream cheese, cereal, etc.... The staff is always polite & helpful.... The rooms are always neat & extremely clean! VERY close to eating, gas, & shopping - walking distance!!

This is a nice motel, especially for the price. It is an older facility, which is why I didn't rate it higher, however the room was very clean as was the common area. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was a couple of miles off of I-75 but easy to find. There are some restaurants near the motel too.

The bed was comfortable and the AC worked great. No protein included in the breakfast though and the room smelled a little bit like smoke/mold/musty.

Well at 3am i had to switch rooms cause the toilet broke. Then the room they put me in had mildew in the shower, the toilet seat was dirty(lucky i carry cleaning wipes with me), and the bed sheet was dirty. I bring my own blankets. The walls had messes in them that could have be easily wiped up if the cleaning people would clean correctly. Definitely wasnt impress. The breakfast was ok.

This is our MOST FAVORITE place of ANYWHERE to stay!!! Everyone is ALWAYS SOOOOOO helpful & polite, the rooms are ALWAYS PERFECT & SUPER CLEAN & NEAT, and the breakfast is AWESOMELY DELICIOUS!!!!
