The room was bright and clean when I walked in. Microwave and refrigerator both worked. I was conveniently located next to the pool which allowed for a relaxing sit in the Jacuzzi after visiting family. The dog walk was beautiful. I will definitely book here again.

Issues with the hotel: •The shower had ants crawling on the shower head and cracks in the wall. •The door was getting stuck when trying to close it. •My coworker, who was supposed to be staying in another room, was not able to check in, and ended up having to stay at a different hotel entirely. These conplaints aren't necessarily the hotel's fault, but still a nuisance: •Kids running up and down stairs, screaming. Also of mention was the kid's use of the hot tub, which, at that age, I doubt had the mental or physical capacity to refrain from " doing their business" in the water. It would have been nice to have enjoyed that amenity. •People who appaeared to be on some sort of drugs, smoking cigarettes outside my door to the corridor, so every time the A/C unit came on, it sucked the smoke into my room. Fortunately, this is a slight step above the worst hotel stay of my life, where i was physically assaulted in an unprovoked attack by a clearly-disturbed homeless man. So you get 2 stars instead of one.

Bed bugs! Did my usual check around the mattress and found bed bugs.... immediately went to the desk where a nice lady went and got a manager or possibly an owner for him not to offer an apology.... in fact he sent don't r to look and claimed it to be a stain and asked if we put it there. He offered another room... no thank you... I have included a picture of the bed bugs. The motel is also very run down and dirty.

Do not know what happened! Usually I stayed here for top ratings but this time did not meet my expectaions. Dirty floor, pubic hairs in the tub, television not working, dust on counters, not a coffee service or microwave. I sleep on top of covers doubting cleanliness .

I wrote ahead and also spoke with the front desk for a quiet section, which was the back of the motel. Upon arrival I was told that there were no rooms available in the back. In addition to the freeway noise in the front, the walls are paper thin and one night my wife and I could hear a couple having loud sex for hours, including hollering from whipping her behind. The room was designed with the bed pushed up against the a/c so if you had to get up at night, it was difficult to climb out. They advertise free coffee, and it was my mistake thinking there was a coffee maker in the room. Free coffee was in the lobby every morning from 6-10 am. It is a convenient location and a cheap price; a good deal if you don't mind people partying outside your door.

The room was clean but was in need of some maintenance. The a/c unit was very loud and could not be controlled by the control panel. I ended up unplugging the unit as I could not sleep. Fortunately, I travel with a small fan so I at least had air circulation in the room. Also, the bathtub and sink were rusted and deteriorated. The drains definitely need to be replaced. The entry door was also in very bad shape including a lot of rust around the metallic areas. I'm not familiar with the area, but it definitely looks as though moisture and humidity are causing the metal to break down inside the room. Having said that, the hotel staff were very pleasant. The location was very convenient to many areas of interest during my visit. The cost of the room was a fraction of those around the area. I would stay there again, even knowing the short-comings.

This place has the ABSOLUTE best customer service!! Janet and Jeff went out of their way to make sure we were accommodated and were comfortable. We came out for Ventura Nationals with the classic cars and they made sure we had good parking and we were happy. We can’t wait to visit again!

Haley was outstanding. In fact She was the reason we stayed! I incorrectly chose the wrong room and had no clue until i went to check-in. When asked if they had other options to for me, And someone in the back, said "no" quickly. I went outside to look for other hotels when Haley waived me back inside. She let me know that she had double checked to confirm other options and in-fact, one was left . She saved the day, got me a room. And I made to an important business conference with much less stress going into it thanks to her!

I waited 1hour and 45 minutes to be checked in. I forgot my headphones went back to see if i could go back in the room and they told nothing was in there. I ask if the room was already clean she said no. But that they couldn't let me check. They ask me to call back which i did.. they told me a manager was going to call me back. I haven't received no call from no one.

Staff is always so nice. This was our 3rd stay. I asked for a downstairs room because of a disability, (however I never request a ADA room since im not wheelchair dependent.) When i checked in they didnt have one, and staff was so appoligetic and offered to move me as soon as one was avaliable. We will stay there again.

Well priced, the building is newish and well maintained. The check in staff were friendly and professional. There was debris left in the landing outside my room. The place was nearly full and the staff may of had a hard time keeping up with some of the inconsiderate guests.

Check in was with a man on a kiosk screen. Not very personable. The area didn't seem safe. The woman at the front desk went out and checked for a vagrant on a bicycle that was riding around in the parking lot scoping out the parked cars. The room was ok. It would have been nice to have USB ports in the room. The pillows were uncomfortable.

Drug dealings going on in the parking lot and rooms. People up all night making noise. Someone, not from the office, called me on the room phone at 2 am two times! Looking for their cell phone. The drug dealers were taking up parking spaces for guests. It was my worst experience ever. I heard from someone who lives in Ventura this Hotel is used for homeless people and there were homeless hanging out there.

I had no idea that this was somewhat of a homeless shelter and very sketchy. Ppl were up all hours of the night knocking on doors, hanging out on the stairway. I wanted to leave but it was late and didn’t know where else to go so I did my best to try and sleep. The freeway is super close so you can hear the motorists all night. The room was clean and I was relieved. Wear earplugs if you decide to stay here.

I had no idea that this was somewhat of a homeless shelter and very sketchy. Ppl were up all hours of the night knocking on doors, hanging out on the stairway. We enjoyed our stay because the location was perfect and the room was basic but clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The vending machines were a lifesaver after a long day of travel.

For the money this motel was great for a one night stop off whilst road tripping. Very close to the freeway which means easy access but also some noise. Nearby gas station and fast food outlets were helpful. Bed was comfortable and we both slept well, room was clean but a little tired, service was friendly and helpful at both check in and check out. Thanks!

We were in town for the strawberry festival, so the jacuzzi was a god send. we enjoyed our stay very much. The beds were comfortable, and room was clean. Everything worked and refrigerator and microwave were very handy. If I had to offer suggestions the only additions that would have made it even better would have been a coffee service and blow dryer. We understood beforehand and came prepared, so it was no inconvenience for us. Were very happy and will be back!

The check-in Staff and others were very helpful and professional, found a good substitute 1st floor room for me. Room was clean, good towels. It is a Motel 6, but too bad coffee is no longer avail. in the room. My only disappointment was that it was very noisy due to the proximity of the Freeway. I am a light sleeper, so it was difficult for me.

The room was clean but was in need of some maintenance. The a/c unit was very loud and could not be controlled by the control panel. I ended up unplugging the unit as I could not sleep. Fortunately, I travel with a small fan so I at least had air circulation in the room. Also, the bathtub and sink were rusted and deteriorated. The drains definitely need to be replaced. The entry door was also in very bad shape including a lot of rust around the metallic areas. I'm not familiar with the area, but it definitely looks as though moisture and humidity are causing the metal to break down inside the room. Having said that, the hotel staff were very pleasant. The location was very convenient to many areas of interest during my visit. The cost of the room was a fraction of those around the area. I would stay there again, even knowing the short-comings.

OK, I stated a Motel 6, because Southern California is so blazing hot these days and I have no air-conditioning. I set my expectations accordingly, because it is a Motel 6. However, to my amazement, even Motel 6 couldn’t live up to their low standards. As I was checking in, there was no human being in the lobby to check us in. There is only a kiosk with a person from another country, assisting people and checking in. I’m not thrilled with this concept because it takes human touch out of everything. It was absolutely distressing and frustrating. The poor person in front of me was trying to check in for clearly several nights or clearly several rooms because his bill was over $1300. But apparently the amount paid differ from the amount that Motel 6 had received by six cents six pennies! This took them more than 15 minutes to sort out. In the meantime, me and another customer just stood there waiting, waiting, waiting. I can honestly tell you I will never ever ever stay at this Motel 6 again. It is awful.

First, we went to go check into our room and they told you to come back later since a room wasn’t ready yet. When we came back a few hours later they told you that our room was canceled. We told them that we didn’t cancel it so the guy that was checking us in on there monitor must’ve cancelled it when we came in to check in. The girl was helpful and called her manager to get us a room at the rate that we booked for but didn’t have anymore 1 beds so we were forced to take a 2 TINY bed, room. Once we finally were able to get into the room the AC didn’t work. I called down to the front desk at least 5 times and no one ever answered. We went back out to venture and stopped in the lobby and no one was in there. We won’t be staying here again.
