Motel 6-Bradenton, FL

Overall good for the price. The only thing is that the building needs a renovation.

Hotel staff canceled my reservation because my friend helped carry my bags inside and they thought he was staying. Which he was in fact not. Just being a good friend. But the woman didn't care and canceled my room and I had to walk with all my bags in the heat to find another hotel and I got charged twice for the booking.

My husband I I stayed there from June 24 till July 4th of 2026, tub was dirty ,I cleaned it myself with disinfectant wipes , door to bathroom was broken on bottom, large gap on top and dor wouldnt shut, told front office about it they sent maintamce office and he couldn't fix it he was going to come back next day at 10am to sand door down but never showed up we were on vacation and were going to spend our whole time waiting around , used washer you had to pay for with app that was fine but used dryer and after 1hour clothes still aren't dry and put the. In for another cycle of 1hour and still weren't dry so we told clothes to dry to laundry mat, I notified company gave me refund but don't know if they fixed the issue. Motel 6 was suppose to have free wifi my husband tried to use it on second day we were there and didnt work so he went to office and told them and they said it wasn't working we were still there for 10day and still wasn't working when we went home. Also look said out of order the whole 10 days we were there and you didn't get any kind of maid service you had to bring your dirty towel and liens to the office in order to get any new ones, they had no trash bags I was told they were locked up and the only one that had access was the manager and it was on the weekend. I called Motel 6 customer service to file a complaint and I was told property would call me back within 5 days and get an email and it's been over a week and have not gotten either.

Just a place to sleep thats it. Property is old room is old and parking lot is a mess
