Cons: The property is a bit beat, showing signs of wear. The elevator wasn't working when we were there. The bed was very hard (platform bed, no box springs). The wifi was terrible, including the ability to make phone calls on our cellphones. Pros: The staff members are very nice. The room is clean and has plenty of towels. There are plenty of places to eat in the area making them easy to find. The view from the room and the pool area is beautiful!

View from 3rd floor was awesome, no exterior lights around pool, at least 4-5 exterior lights in and around parking lot not working, underwater pool light never worked properly (always flickering like strobe light), cleaning ladies were awesome, coffee machine for free continental breakfast was broken for 2 mornings, no handle on foot clean off after coming from the beach( shower head only).trash and construction debris stuffed in corner on parking lot.(been there for a while, not recent).

Absolutely horrible. The first room that we went into had a cockroach in it, a big hole in the door, a hole in the wall that was patched up poorly , The hanger is in the closet as well as the rack recovered and rust. There was a breaker box in the room covered in rust as well. The breakfast is horrible, it consisted of a carton of orange juice, some horrible muffins and some yogurt. The rooms had a moldy smell. The desk that the TV was on top of was rotting and the bed sheets have stains on them. We were then moved into a second room which was a little better except for the bed was wet and when we lifted up the sheets the mattress had disgusting mold on it. We were then taken into a third room which was a little better but had rust all over the lamp, and the door hinges, the bathtub was not completely clean. It also had a moldy smell. We will not be returning. The only good thing was the beach was super close. By the way the jacuzzi was also broken and nobody was getting into the pool because it looked filthy. Horrible experience!

Good value. Room was clean, comfortable, great view of the ocean. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was extremely minimal and parking on site was minimal. There was free overflow parking across the street for registered guests. I’d recommend it for the price i paid, but don’t assume you’re really getting even a typical continental breakfast. Dining options are nearby.

Beds were very hard, pillows were yellowed and caused allergic reaction, bathroom door was water damaged, shower drained poorly, bathroom fan didn't work, water was lukewarm in the morning, saw three roaches in the bathroom. Proximity to the beach was nice.

I have to say the room was clean. That is all I can say. The smell was musty and stuffy. This is probably the worst hotel I've stayed in. The breakfast was an absolute joke. No water no OJ...just coffee packaged muffins and yogurt. They said it was continental. OMG I've had better continental breakfasts in 1star hotels. Do not stay here. You will be very disappointed. It's appalling.

The Staff was very friendly. Our room was musty smelling, which is typical for an ocean view. The headboards were very dusty. We stayed for 6 days, and the first 3 days, we got full service of clean towels, trash pick up, etc... The last 3 day, we did not receive the full service. The in-room safety box did not work. The manger said that none of the in in-room safety deposit boxes worked in the entire hotel.

From online it didnt look too bad. Go to check in and the lobby smelled mustier than my basement. Clerk was rude when I called after waiting 20 mins in this hot,smelly lobby to check in. Thought hey, maybe the room isnt too bad. NAH. "Kitchenette" was nothing at all. Couldnt make food if we wanted cause no dishes. The whole room was a shoe box. Room looked dirty. All the furniture needed some kind of love. Bed frame had scratches everywhere. Base of the kitchen table was completely peeled of paint. The shower head had a film on it that we had to clean off before use. The DOOR TO THE ROOM WAS SHOT!! Looked like someone tried to smash it in recently and had to jimmy it to lock it. Only nice thing was the one cleaning lady who spoke english. She said good morning everyday and asked if we needed anything.

It was very clean. The room had a great shower. The fridge worked but had a broken bottom door shelf and we had to prop one leg up. Water damage on the door in the bathroom as well. Front door looked like it didn't latch all the way , but did lock fine. The pool and hot tub seemed nice. ( we didn't go in though) The beach there is super. Breakfast was next to none. But, all in all, a fine place for beach access

The hotel is quiet. The rooms are clean but stay damp even with dehumidifiers. Have stayed here several times through the years. Is a nice place to relax and unwind. The salt air is taking its toll on the property.

The inside of the room was decent. Looks nothing like the one in the photo. There was a giant dent/hole the shape and size of someone's head in the wall. Beautiful view and went right out onto the beach. However the property is in terrible shape. There were no lights to see where we were going on our way to our room, the building is falling apart and there are bugs running around on the floor outside. There is not enough parking on site for guests so you have to park across the street. At one point we needed the front desk and no one was any where to be found. We rang the buzzer and waited for about 10 mins before giving up and leaving.

Mold in corners , deteriorating baseboards and furniture. Mattress was similar to sleeping on a sheet of plywood. The sink bowl lifted right off of the sink top. Exterior door continually shook as the wind blew outside. Overall super cheap for the beach but I’d never consider coming back especially with a family.

Checked in ok but when I went to my room, noticed that the door didn’t lock. Went to the front desk to explain the situation and ask to get it fixed. The front desk personnel responded with,”You’re on the 3 floor and not to worry about it.”

When I went to check in I was told my room would be in the corner with no balcony. I told her I booked the room shown on the Expedia website but she said those are not the rooms we rent out for the price I was paying if I wanted a room with a balcony I had to pay her $40.00 more in cash. So I had no choice but settle for the small room in the corner. When I enter the room the safe deposit box wasn’t working. So I had a lot of personal jewelry and cash that needed to be put in a safe deposit box. I went downstairs and told the woman that I needed a room with a safety deposit box. She replied that no room had any safe deposit box that works. I was shock to hear such a statement. No safety deposit box and she said no it’s safe for me to leave it in the room. I was upset and had to carry my stuff everywhere. Then I called Expedia who was very courteous and she called the hotel. The woman said no safety deposit box and hung up the phone on the Expedia representative. Wow we both were shocked . This place is not maintained the walls are dirty as you walk the halls. The bathroom in the lobby had a small sample soap for all guests to use for washing hands. I would not recommend this place at all.

We drove from Cincinnati ohio and arrived in the middle of the night around 1230am and no one was at the front desk to check us in. We waited about 20 minutes and rang the bell that says ring for help and no one came. There was a list of rooms that need cleaned with a key card so luckily we were able to use the key card to get in. They didn't notice we were there until almost 830am when the front desk called asking how we got into the room. They never explained where their employee was and we were up until 430am and our room was right by the front desk so we checked one last time before we went to bed and no one was at the desk still. We had access to keys, the money, and everything. Lucky for you we aren't raggedy people. We were offered no explanation and given no apology.

What a little piece of paradise! This is a hidden jem of a place! For the price you get clean rooms, pool and hot tub fun, and cam even enjoy a fire in the evening! Then there is the amazing beach that is with in a few feet from all rooms! We will definitely be coming back! Its a perfect place for the family! My kids love it! Not to mention we feel really safe! The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is amazing!

We’ve stayed at this hotel every year since 2020 because we loved the vibe, the facilities, and the atmosphere. Sadly, this visit was a complete disappointment. We arrived at midnight after an 8-hour drive with our kids and were given a room that smelled strongly of mold — it even had a dehumidifier running. I kindly asked to be moved, but the owner refused and told me to find another hotel if I wasn’t happy, which was shocking at 2 a.m. She even hung up on me when I declined her offer to move to another of her hotels, which had terrible reviews. Only after I mentioned calling the police did she agree to give us another room. Unfortunately, the entire property was in poor condition — no lights in the hallways or the pool area, everything felt neglected and worn down. It’s heartbreaking to see how much this place has declined. We won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The owner lacks professionalism and basic respect for her guests (This is a shortened version because there’s not enough space here to describe the full nightmare I went through)

Was on time for check-in and was told room with kitchenette was not ready. Was asked if I needed kitchenette or if I wanted to wait past check-in time. With a long line behind me, I accepted a room without kitchenette which I'm being charged the same price. While signing in, I noticed my original room number was the one that the gentleman ahead of me was given – so it was not that it wasn't ready -It was that it was given away. Not cool.

The room had been redone recently and it’s super cute with a rainfall shower head. I have never received such wonderful customer service as I did at this hotel. We came back from the beach in the morning and our key card did not work. The two front desk workers were outside and they saw it didn’t work. They went and got the card and brought it to our room! Amazing!!!! Highly recommend and we will stay here again for sure!

My wife and I were impressed to find a smaller beach front resort type hotel. Pool, hot tub, deck, beach access were great. The rooms were quiet, clean, and very comfortable. Much prefer smaller places like this because at larger hotels, these areas or amenities are almost always in use and often crowded. The hotel was full each night we were there and we never even met anyone on the elevator. Would definitely stay again if in the Ormond beach area.

Quaint, Friendly and Relaxing! Small and simple inn on the beach. The staff was welcoming and helpful at every turn. The pool area overlooking the beach is a great place to relax. The beach does have 4 wheeling trucks driving by and parking for a picnic.

Breakfast consisted of yogurt, clementines, dried stale mini muffins & coffee…not what we expected. The water pressure in the shower was not good, the rooms are somewhat updated. I have to say the room was clean. That is all I can say. The smell was musty and stuffy. This is probably the worst hotel I've stayed in. The breakfast was an absolute joke. No water no OJ...just coffee packaged muffins and yogurt. They said it was continental. OMG I've had better continental breakfasts in 1star hotels. Do not stay here. You will be very disappointed. It's appalling.

Not bad, had to hunt down someone for clean towels. Free breakfast should not be advertised when all is offered is bananas, mini muffins and yogurt. Coffee machine was broken the morning we left. Good part was out hotel was right on the beach, view was good.

Good value. Room was clean, comfortable, great view of the ocean. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was extremely minimal and parking on site was minimal. There was free overflow parking across the street for registered guests. I’d recommend it for the price i paid, but don’t assume you’re really getting even a typical continental breakfast. Dining options are nearby.

The room pictures on Hotels.com are very misleading and flat out wrong. They have pictures of a beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean on the standard room and that is false… The standard room does not come with a balcony. 30 minutes after getting checked into our room we had someone trying to open the door to our room. They were given our same room and had to go back to the lobby to get switched.

Also the bed was extremely uncomfortable. When it was mentioned to the front desk they did come quickly to have a look at it but all they did was put some screws into the platform under the mattress. It helped very slightly not enough to make any kind of difference.
