Motel 6-Linthicum Heights, MD - BWI Airport

We liked that the staff was friendly at check in and check out time.. room prices on Expedia were far better than any other site and a room was always available of some kind, overallly good experience and lay down full what's the ice maker not functioning on several occasions or stays

Wish it had a microwave and fridge.

I had a reservation for 1 Queen size bed and I got two double beds. When I went down to talk to Kim the lady at the front desk she pretty much said to bad I can give you a refund and you can go somewhere else. I made this reservation a week ahead of time for memorial day weekend for me and my girlfriend to get away for a little bit together. There wasn't going to be a room to be found anywhere else. The satellite TV or whatever they have only works half the time.The rooms are small. They advertise coffee machine, refrigerator and microwave in the rooms. Well no they don't have refrigerators microwaves or coffee machines in the rooms. The rooms were dirty. They advertise that they have a pool. Well no they don't have a pool.

They told me I was on the second floor facing the pool, but there was only an area where a pool used to be

Cover up with sheets no blankets hard bed thin pillow loud music all night and banging no pool like was posted got no rest

Check-In: Friday, Check-Out: Sunday. However, the hotel's staff and faulty systems would make this a problem for me. On check-in, the key would not open my room, no matter how I used it. I went back to the front desk. Instead of fixing the malfunction, they gave me a different room. Saturday, I stepped out of my room. 21-27F outside (weather.com says "Feels Like 12F"). When I went back, the key did not open my door. Staff member said, that the previous day, when she assigned me a new room, she did not enter the correct check-out date. Saying it politely is good, but being polite doesn't correct the problem or assure me it won't happen again. Nearly the entire parking lot was covered in snow and no staff trying to shovel any of it. I guessed where a parking spot was, then moved snow out of the way on my own. No grip or friction under the mattress, so it was constantly slipping out of position. The door viewer looked fine on the outside, but on the inside, it was plugged up, making it worthless. In the shower, hot and cold water were inverted. Front door was leaking. Big gaps. In lieu of weather stripping, there was duct take around several surfaces. TV was not plugged in. AC/Heater vent was covered in crud that probably hadn't been washed in a year. Hair around the mattress and elsewhere. Dirt still in the shower. Sink too small to pour water into my drinking bottle and couldn't do it in the shower. Not prepared for cold snap, or key troubles.

My room lacked a microwave oven

Some of the amenities I thought were included in the property wasn’t and they didn’t have something that was really needed enough ice for the customers.

It was nice but the pool needs to be open

The first room we got had millions of gnats just flying around. They were all over the walls the ceiling the curtains everything!!!! The bathroom had roaches crawling all over and the gnats were in there too. The second room we received after requesting a room Change was ok at first glance but then the roaches started coming out my boyfriend had one crawling on him when we woke up in the morning. I had been to this location lots of times in the past and it was never Like this. It’s beyond disgusting and I was uncomfortable the whole time. I will not be back the place needs to be condemned at this point and an exterminator needs to get in there ASAP!!! Will not be going back EVER AGAIN!!!! I want my money back for real.

Roches in Room! They were crawling on my foot while i was sleeping. The heat didnt work. The heat had a burning smell and it kept setting off the smoke detectors. The TV was dark, couldnt even see the screen. The outside of hotel was dirty, roaches crawling in hallway, dirty condom on stairs, trash bags on stairs and bees

The room smelled like cigarettes, roaches crawling all over . Shower and walls tore up . Bad experience over all.

That place is infested with roaches. I stayed there 4 nights and killed about 35 roaches. The sink and toilet were clogged up. You are better off sleeping in your car than wasting your money on this place.

Cigarette burns and holes on the sheets, dead bugs in the bathroom, mold in the shower.

We booked a hadicap accessible room was given one with a broken tv then we switched rooms to one that had black mold under the beds there were roaches and bed bugs we have been loyal customers for months now but we wont be anymore

My room door wouldn’t close all the way, I had to leave early due to not feeling safe. My door looked like it had been kicked in before. There was a hole on the bathroom door. I also found a roach in the bathroom. Price was decent for what it was .

There were bugs in the room, paint peeling in the bathroom, rust in the shower, moldy stain on the wall the list could go on 😢won’t be staying there again.

Literal roach motel, lol. Our neighbors must have been residents but they were up all night making noise, drinking and yelling at each other. Didn’t really bother me too much but my partner barely got any sleep so might be an issue for some.

Overall, it was ok. It's a Motel 6. Can't have really high standards. There was rodent feces on the headboard and the room door had evidence of being kicked in before. It didn't close all the way at the bottom causing a crack and letting anything that crawls have access. Due to the location of the room (close to the office), there was quite a bit of traffic which made it a bit noisy. People there were friendly.

During the night, the occupants of the room next to ours let their dogs out, and the dogs were barking and scratching at our door. Additionally, there were people fighting outside and making loud noises. As a result, we were unable to sleep the entire night.

Very noisy, junk vehicles in the parking lot, roaches, room smells like smoke, and you have to ask for towels.

I was looking for a reasonably-priced place to stay with my kids after the Orioles game, and I picked this motel. We arrived late - probably 11pm or so, and I waited for about 20 minutes while two men in front of me checked in. The guys kept insisting they have ground floor rooms, and that got me wondering (they didn’t have kids or elderly people with them), so my imagination started going right away, and things didn’t go up from there. The woman at the desk was nice (although be prepared, all interactions are done behind glass). When we got to the room, there was an overwhelmingly odor of stale smoke (and I don’t consider myself sensitive to smells). The room is much much smaller than pictured. There was a red stain on the wall above one bed, and there were dead bugs on each of the covers — actually, we realized they weren’t both dead, one was alive. And while the door closed and could be locked, there were still gaps where you could see/hear outside. And there were some people hanging around out there. Ultimately, my kids were scared, and I was a little, too, and I decided that while I really couldn’t afford it, I was going to have to find somewhere else to stay. I got my kids back into the car and left to find somewhere else.

We needed a cheap place to stay before a cruise and this was perfect. The room was low in floor space and smelled like cigarettes, but my expectations were very low for the price. Lots of food within walking distance.

The pictures looked great! We couldn't sleep more than 3 hours. People around laughing, talking, smoking. We couldn't take a shower, everything was looking unclean and smelly. Toilet seat was broken.

Late check-in (2am) was a breeze. The clerk was friendly enough. The room was very basic and run down (old furniture, holes in the walls the size of fist marks). The bed sheets were clean and the bed itself (and pillows) were comfortable enough. The floor was absolutely disgusting. I didn't realize just how dirty the laminate flooring was until I walked around barefoot and then went to crawl into bed and noticed my feet were jet black with fur stuck to it. Looked like dog hairs. I had to wash my feet in the tub and then leap frog from towel to towel that i placed on the floor making a pathway to the bed. The shower in the morning was HORRIBLE. I get more water pressure from a garden hose than i did in that shower. Plenty of hot water, but just trickling out of the shower head. The location was convenient , with a Taco Bell and McDonalds literally next door. Would I stay here again? ABSOLUTELY NOT. The price was higher than the other hotels in the area but since I needed late check in and I knew Motel 6 was 24/7 front desk, I decided to book it.

First room was filthy moved me to another room that wasn't much better leaking ceiling and roaches in room Neighbors in the courtyard were screaming and making noise until 3:00 in the morning

Room was tiny. Facility has roaches. Shower was extremely small

Has to wait for an hour for the night clerk to arrive to the office. Went into room and found cockroaches everywhere, literally, along with what looked like either water damage or recent spills on the carpet. Returned key back to office I. Less than 30 minutes and was told that I would have to contact Hotels.com to complain.

Worst motel I've ever stayed in. With constant business guest actual living there. So its revenue pouring in. Its dirty, bugs, no chairs, i stayed for over 7 days and not once was I visited by house keeping. Front desk agents rude from beginning to the end. Dog dropping on every level.

Accidentally booked the wrong weekend and didnt catch it, which is my fault. I wanted to re book and they even agreed to give a refund, but they lied and still charged me and issued no refund. Safe to say i wont be booking agian with them for my trip.

Improve the check-in system

Room was very nice for the price I paid, front desk attendant was polite and patient with a very angry person in line ahead of me. If your looking for a place just to stay for a night or 2 its perfect. My advice is to just keep to yourself around the motel.

Miss Ellie is super nice and professional. Only negative thing was annoying kids banging on my door all night. Not in the employees control, just bad parenting.

The whole service is terrible. They put only one towel for double bed

The check in system is not appropriate. I had to go to the reception. I extended and paid however, they were knocking my door again and again asking me to go to the reception to pay. Finally they realized of their mistakes and did not disturb me anymore.

The ladies who work the front desk were very kind and accommodating, they’re arguably the only good thing about this place besides the price. The tv in our room was broken and they offered to move us into another room but that wasn’t a priority for us personally so we declined, but it ended up flashing like a soft strobe the entire time and wouldn’t turn off. the buttons on the ac in our room were broken as well, not a large concern for us but if you have kids who stick their hands in things maybe that would be an issue for you. I do not have high expectations when I stay at cheaper hotels like this, I can handle the floors being a little dirty and small stains as long as everything's been washed but we did end up leaving a day early due to bugs.

The hotel is very outdated, outside of the motel random people loitering in the parking lot. It’s sitting outside the motel rooms. Makes the appearance even worse. Smoking detector in room was broken wires hanging from the ceiling. No blanket on the bed just plain dirty, white sheets. Bathroom is very small shower was grimy. TV remote was broken. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

The room was clean, the AC was cold, the staff was helpful and courteous. Overall, this was a superior budget motel. It is close to my favorite restaurant in Baltimore, G&M. It is also within walking distance to several fast food eateries and a Dunkin Donuts... very convenient.

Location next to parkway and very noisy at night. Folks playing music outside their room.

Unsafe, drug dealers hanging out outside, people playing loud music throughout the entire night.

Was fine if just needing to spend the night somewhere.a few fast food restaurants next door . . I used them for the overnight . Watched a ball game at Camden yards . Used an Uber to transport me to and from . Did not want to drive in the traffic in the city. 10 to 15 minute drive with Uber

Convenient location to highway, room condition could have been better.

I felt the property is non safe to stay so I ended up booking another stay and Expedia could not refund me the amount back. Very unsatisfying experience with Expedia and the Hotel
