TV remote needed batteries but overall everything was okay.

Room was good , could have been a bit cleaner

⭐ 1/5 — Extremely Disappointing and Unsanitary I would absolutely not recommend staying at Extended Stay in Overland Park. From the moment we arrived, the cleanliness of this property was unacceptable. As soon as we walked through the entrance, there was a horrible odor. Unfortunately, things only got worse when we entered our room. The room smelled disgusting and had a strong odor that smelled as though someone had been smoking in it. The bathroom was especially disturbing. There was what appeared to be someone else’s pubic hair on the sink and in the bathtub. The shower curtain was filthy, and there was visible rust around the bathtub faucet that appeared to have simply been painted over rather than properly repaired. The rest of the room was no better. There were ants crawling all over the nightstand, and they even got onto my husband’s cup. The kitchen/island area was covered in grease and clearly had not been properly cleaned. To make matters worse, when my husband went back downstairs to get items from our vehicle, there was a puddle next to the elevator that appeared and smelled like urine. We have no idea whether it was from a person or an animal, but either way, it was disgusting and added to the overall unsanitary condition of the property. The combination of the odors, insects, visible dirt and grease, hair left in the bathroom, filthy shower curtain, and questionable cleanliness throughout the property made this an extremely unpleasant experience. No one came to clean the room nor bring new towels

This was a fair hotel. I would probably try somewhere else next time just a lot of stuff going on indoor slam in the middle of the night on the light sleeper but for a quick stay like we had I was perfect.
