Cleaning staff was friendly. It looks like a hotel that houses homeless people. There was an altercation before 6am and the cops came twice. Pool was dirty. Front staff was rude.

The only thing i had a problem with was the parking at night i could find an open spot so i had to park on the dennys parking spot, and my cable kept on cutting out

The property is clean but worn. The room is missing common conveniences such as complimentary shampoo. There is a closet bar in the room but no hangers. There is no hair dryer and no in room coffee maker. The in room refrigerator is anemic. There is a giant flat screen TV. The staff were confused when I asked for a receipt! Parking is cramped.

Excellent place to stay for vacations. The only problem I see is the area surrounding the motel. It's very easy for any burglar to jump over the fence and rob anything from the parking lot or break a room window. Notwithstanding, the place has good safety measures such as cameras all over the place and very secured doors.

For the price and a quiet stay that was the good part, they have no maintenance people or housekeeping if you needed clean towels or toilet paper, ladies up front had attitude when you asked for something you needed, you actually had to go up front yourself to ask what for what you needed Lastly, pool was dirty , snelt dirty , not like chlorine,

I had a horrible experience when checking into another Motel 6 (Old North Sacramento location) and at 11:30pm, this location had a vacancy and I was able to get a room w/o making prior reservation. Lisa, the front desk lady, was very professional and pleasant (unlike what I dealt with at the first location!). The location was safe enough, room was clean. I ended up extending my stay. There are 2 things Ibthink mgmt should look into: 1. the AC unit in the room smells really bad. You get used to it after being the room but now and then,still smell how bad it smells. Smells like urine is in the air, not a good thing to deal with. It is dusty too so on top of smelling like urine, it’s full of dust …sanitation issue… 2. The bathroom vents are filthy. Really should clean them cuz it’s not sanitary 3. They only clean every 3 days and do not have shampoo/conditions or body wash for you. Just 2 small bars of soap and towels. Things that make this place better than the Old North Sac location: 1. security makes rounds in the parking lot by circling it every 3 hours 2. Propert is well lit and parking lot is big with plenty of spaces 3. Staff is pleasantly and courteous

What I didn't like was I slept in a room to only find the next morning a bed bug in my bathroom which I took a picture of and killed it and took it to the office and I was only refunded for the night I didn't sleep in the room with the bed bugs and was told that they would have someone check there room and if they found anything they would refund the night I spent with my son and fiancé and dogs.

Room had a hole in the floor- like someone had dropped a bowling ball on it. Every time the air conditioner came on it smelled like urine - obviously someone has peed on that. The shower was very hot no matter where you turned the nob.

Bathroom smelled like urine, the tiles (including the floor) in the shower had red mold in the grout and all under the folding chair (handicap accessible room) which one side was pulling away from the wall and there was still pieces of bar soap in the corner under the chair. There was urine around the base of the toilet. I poured bleach and scrubbed everything then sprayed with Lysol disinfectant. Always wore shower shoes anywhere in the bathroom!

Surprisingly good for a Motel 6. Usually Motel 6's suck, but this one, the room looked and smelled clean, the shower didn't have any plumbing issues, and there were no stains on the sheets. The only bad thing was that the sound proofing to the outside is not great, I had to listen to excessive-testosterone-filled dudes revving their motorcycle and backfiring their cars at 2 AM, but other than that, it was great.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to Cal State Sacramento as it’s just minutes away which is great. However the rooms weren’t great. The mattresses were very firm, the blankets thin, and the comforter was basically a sheet. Two thin pillows per queen sized bed and when we asked for more they said they didn’t have any. Nothing on the walls and the main light gives “penitentiary” feel. Super bright light outside the window, which was almost blocked by the blackout curtain (that was partially falling off the rod). A/C is super loud. Worst of all however was the condition of the floor. I walked barefoot when we arrived and the bottoms of my feet were BLACK. Won’t be staying there again.

Tv almost always has issues. No signal weak connection it states. And they shower hot and cold do not engage properly in some units and I have had and had to take a LUKE WARM SHOWER AGAIN this morning. Plus housekeeping NEVER MAKES UP THE ROOM DAILY, UNLESS YOU ASK?

Overall, the property was OK but I must admit it is very loud such as lawnmowers being turned on at 6 or 7 AM and you can hear a lot of traffic. That is the only down falls but other then that it’s ok place for the price.

Lucy was great! The two dayshift personnel were nice at first but became very mean. Things they said they would do they didn't. I waited 30 minutes to check. I was given a chair to sit outside and wait until 3:00 pm to check in. I had a stroke which affects my metal & walking abilities. The young got me the chair and said he would come and get me at 3. Never did that happen. I walked with my cane to the office and asked them why I wasn't given chance to check & I was told they were busy. If no one can check in until 3 why did I wait 37 minutes & had to go to the office to find out why. I was attending my brother's Memorial Service to to him dying of cancer.

Have never before paid in advance for a room and then had the reservation refused when I arrived. Was called halfway through the day I was to check in apparently to confirm that I was coming. Thought this was odd since I had already paid for the room. Check-in, at 9pm, was like checking into the county jail. They wanted my email and I declined and gave me phone number instead. They asked for an additional deposit of $50 and after questioning that gave my cc to cover it. After signing and initialing a document regarding the rules of the motel, the manager then begins to go over them one by one starting with No Smoking. Felt distinctly as if I were being scolded by the nuns. When I dared to cut her off by saying that I didn’t smoke, she then decided she ‘did not like my attitude’ and refused to give me a room. This is a very entitled little crew that runs the joint as if it were their kingdom. And that’s fine. But the problem is, having paid in advance, trying to get a refund out of Hotels.com. All the website will give you is there are no refunds after 6pm on day of check-in. Will never stay in a Motel Six again and will never pay in advance for a room.

Thought this was odd since I had already paid for the room. Check-in, at 9pm, was like checking into the county jail. They wanted my email and I declined and gave me phone number instead. They asked for an additional deposit of $50 and after questioning that gave my cc to cover it. After signing and initialing a document regarding the rules of the motel, the manager then begins to go over them one by one starting with No Smoking. Felt distinctly as if I were being scolded by the nuns. When I dared to cut her off by saying that I didn’t smoke, she then decided she ‘did not like my attitude’ and refused to give me a room. This is a very entitled little crew that runs the joint as if it were their kingdom. And that’s fine. But the problem is, having paid in advance, trying to get a refund out of Hotels.com. All the website will give you is there are no refunds after 6pm on day of check-in. Will never stay in a Motel Six again and will never pay in advance for a room.

Staff is Extremely Rude. Upon check in room was dirty with a cup on counter , trash in can, brown spit in sink, hairs in tub, and the room smelled like wet dog . After letting them know they said they didn't have any other rooms to take it or leave it. It was storming out luckily I had Clorox wipes& pine sol in my car so I cleaned the room myself. TV in & out of service. Bed lumpy with a serious sink hole on one side. Housekeeping started knocking on door 3 hours before checkout with a very unpleasant attitude. Everyone who I spoke to wether it was the front desk or housekeeping they all are very abrasive and extremely rude. No sense of hospitality whatsoever. I have stayed at many motel 6 and never this treatment.

Almost every time I have stayed at this property in 2024, the staff has been nice and tried to be helpful. However, the microwaves were dirty, ac didn't blow cold in some rooms, and recently yesterday I had no hot water AGAIN in room 217 after maintenance fixed it the last time I stayed in that room. i was moved to room 225 and the water was luke warm and adjusted to the furthest setting on hot. the manager and some staffs first responses are ALWAYS do you want a refund so you can leave or go elsewhere. I think they ALL need to remember the reason they are in business is due to the customers that stay at their facility NO MATTER who they are. Homeless, working class, etc. Again, every time I have stayed I have had to move rooms because of some issue. On top of that the listings for them on the booking sites state daily housekeeping yet I have to ALWAYS ask to have my room made up, and go down for fresh towels daily and toilet paper.

Overall, the property was OK but I must admit it is very loud such as lawnmowers being turned on at 6 or 7 AM and you can hear a lot of traffic. That is the only down falls but other then that it’s ok place for the price.

I wanted to give 5 stars because it is a well maintained, clean motel with comfy beds, but some shady activities in the evening prevented me from this. Cars would park in the back of the motel, thats where my door was facing, and people would be just sitting in their cars, they did not stay at the motel, they would just walk to each other occasionally, talk, and then come back to the cars. I felt uncomfortable because of that. I think those people were pimps and clients, but front desk said they know nothing. I have no proof of course, but as a customer paying a hundred a night, i did not like it.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to Cal State Sacramento as it’s just minutes away which is great. However the rooms weren’t great. The mattresses were very firm, the blankets thin, and the comforter was basically a sheet. Two thin pillows per queen sized bed and when we asked for more they said they didn’t have any. Nothing on the walls and the main light gives “penitentiary” feel. Super bright light outside the window, which was almost blocked by the blackout curtain (that was partially falling off the rod). A/C is super loud. Worst of all however was the condition of the floor. I walked barefoot when we arrived and the bottoms of my feet were BLACK. Won’t be staying there again.

Smell bad bed was ok worthless pillows. No extra blanket. No promised morning coffee. No eye contact or smile from staff or even a thank you. Being inexpensive does not mean you can leave out the stuff that costs nothing to give. Only good thing was location.

Don’t stay here. We stayed 2 nights. Motel had shady people hanging around, sheets had hair on it like it wasn’t changed, the heat/ air system was vey loud, no hangers provided. No coffee and wi fi.

Got in at night - when I was parking to check-in there was 3 police cars already there- police activity at a Motel 6 usually is not a great sign. But, staff was friendly, one of the police cars was actually security- the others were looking for a missing person. Place is well lit- my room 105 was recently renovated- bed was nice, water was hot, AC worked I would ding it for being slightly noisy - right in front of 24/7 Denny's parking lot ( ate breakfast- not bad)- road noise/couldn't really hear neighbors walking above etc. or TV so that was good. Could hear door closing above-This Motel 6 was the most economical that did not get drug haven/homeless reviews in the Sacramento area. Really easy access to highway and got downtown & back really easy.

Clean, but lacking in many standard amenities even the lower cost hotels have: no ironing board/iron, no in room-coffee-makes, no tissue or spare toilet paper, no little rack or table to put your suitcase on. Also, room was non-smoking, but smelled very strongly of cigarettes. Had to have the room sprayed, but scent still lingered. Must be a high crime area as police officers visited the site regularly. Very close to a Denny's and McDonalds though, so that what convenient, otherwise would avoid in future. Also, was given a handicapped room, even though they had plenty of other rooms available.

The grounds were clean, the room was comfortable and check in was.quick and professional..the room and bed were not as large and a king bed room, but for.one person it was great, nice shower table/desk, Tav, fridge and microwave. Definitely will stay again for business. Just aboit every other hotel in this price range is a dump and in a sketchy area.

The property is clean but worn. The room is missing common conveniences such as complimentary shampoo. There is a closet bar in the room but no hangers. There is no hair dryer and no in room coffee maker. The in room refrigerator is anemic. There is a giant flat screen TV. The staff were confused when I asked for a receipt! Parking is cramped.

No coffee maker in the room or coffee offered in the office. We killed a cockroach that came out from under the cupboard with the fridge in it. No carpet on the floors. The direct tv did not work properly it said 49 channels we barely got 10 channels to work There were drug deals going on in the parking lot where our car was. My husband went out to our car for something and witnessed it going on. We let the office know about it. All they said was sorry about that. When we left at 5 am a van was driving around looking around. I was glad to Leave. Where we parked their is one way in and one way out. We were in the back of the motel We were going to stay an extra night but we canceled our reservation.

First of all, when I booked, I clicked "pay at property", and when I got there, not only was I informed that they tried charging the card I put down for the reservation (which wasn't the card I ended up using) but when it go rejected, they cancelled my reservation. So I had to pay almost 350 dollars more than originally quoted. I didn't get an email or anything about that. And the front desk lady was rude to me because I was obviously upset about that. I was frustrated at the situation I was in, not her and she kinda took it personally on me by being cold and rude. I am disabled and the front office didn't have anywhere to sit so I was also in pain. There just were a lot of factors that were piling up, but never did I once be cold or rude to her. This was a horrible experience. I will not be using this website or motel again. Ultimately, the place was clean. parking kinda sucks.
