The place smells like bleach, weed, and cigarettes. It requires a cash deposit on the room. None of the outside doors to the hotel lock and you need the room card reactivated daily. If you need fresh towels, you must wait till housekeeping comes in at 8am to give them to you. The night clerk wont do so. If you loose your cash reciept then you will not get your deposit back. The rooms are freezing cold and theres cigarette burns all over the place, including the elevator walls. The staff is rude. Terrible place to stay.

Did not feel safe. Condition of the hotel is terrible, felt the building should be remodeled. The elevator did not feel safe, as if it could drop any moment.

I spent two nights there. The hotel lacks cleanliness and is out of date. Since the pool is so tiny and right close to the parking lot, we didn't even consider trying it. Walking is a waste of time when elevators are so inaccurate. Advice: Avoid it if you can

No coffee pot, no closet for what I paid it was ok but more of a truckers stop maybe they were upgrading the place but needed lots of repairs

The OyO in Irvine, Texas was a nightmare I found a cockroach in the bathroom on the toilet very unsettling wouldn’t give us towel for the pool which was crappie little and unsafe I will never stay at one of these hotels again it’s been a nightmare for my granddaughter and myself

Everything was satisfactory and need to fix the ice machine in each floor

I rode my bike ( motorcycle) over 100 miles away. Go to check in,big sign on the door. No bikes allowed. Now what was i suppose to do? I was told to just park it next door. Next door has towing signs up. I locked my bike up and hoped for the best.

Photos in the app do not match the rooms you're given to stay in at all. Elevator broken, whole building smells of mold, chlorine and weed, several lights in the hallways/stairways not operational. The room we were given has cigarette burn holes in the blankets, mold on the floors, lamp fixture about to fall off the wall, and signs of previous water damage to the floor. The front desk has no sympathy.

Dirty, smelly, humid, & had roaches

Hotel was run down and we found roaches in our room front desk did Nate minimum...

This hotel is very dirty we had specks of blood on the white blankets on the bed we were coming in from California for a funeral luckily we only had to stay over night it was disgusting

If I could share pictures I would. The property was not up to par of the pictures seen online. After 1st night asked for the room to be cleaned, they only emptied the trash and replaced towels, but never replaced the sheets. Didn't ask for the room to be cleaned after 2nd night and they did the same thing, emptied the trash and replaced the towels, but didn't replace the sheets. Never again will I stay at this hotel.

Several bugs in the room. Room smelled. Locks on inside broken. Toilet seat broken. Bedbugs. Stains on bed. Noisy. A big sign from Irving Police warning customers of theft, drugs etc. at this property. We did not feel safe.

The staff are not particularly friendly or welcoming but they get the job done efficiently. Lots of noise from the people upstairs well into the night on my first night, sounded like a kid up way too late but that's not the hotel's fault. The room was good, parking was convenient, would stay there again and I travel to Dallas around 6 times a year so a return is likely. I do wish more businesses in Dallas had heard of and implemented recycling though.

I booked a king sized bed with mini fridge and microwave. 1st room had two twin beds. I went and explained that I had reserved a king sized bed. I was given another room. This one with a king sized bed. And a busted door lock, no fridge, and no microwave.

Out of 20 years of traveling this would literally the worst ever hotel. The carpet was dirty and nasty. The runs at laminate wood flooring that was water damaged and blowing up and peeling. We stayed for two nights and the Wi-Fi was never working it would come up and go down and come up and go down it was useless. The telephones in the room were dead so you could not call for help you had to walk down to the front desk just to be told they're addressing the issue.

No Microwave. Electrical outlets weren't working for phone charge

I don't have a ice box my food spoil thay said thay had them but went i got there thay didn't have a one bed room put in a double room no ice box

The bed was comfortable. Everything else was terrible.

I take my key. I am not given directions to my room. They just say, "It's up the stairs." They fail to mention that the stairs I'll first see only go to the second floor, and my room is on the third floor. When I get into the room, after going through a disgusting and dank hallway and 2 separate staircases, I check the bathroom, the closet, and under the bed. They gave me a connected room. And there's a TV blaring through that door. It's after midnight, and I am traveling alone (as a woman, if it matters). The latch to lock the doors have clearly been smashed off and not replaced. This includes the door to the room, and that connected room. So my bag never hits the ground or the bed. I immediately head back to the front desk. I tell them I cannot stay there. I do not get a refund. Would not recommend. I think the owners of these places (both the north and the south locations) know that they are running crack dens, and they are in on it.

While the rooms and bathrooms were acceptable quality, the check-in staff and service were horrible. Terrible service while checking in as if we were inconveniencing the staff by even being there, we were given a 1 bed room although we pajd for a 2 bed room however this was fixed quickly by front desk staff. Also had to go to the front desk staff several times during the 2 days we were there as the room keys kept deactivating

When I checkout out of OYO, I brought my receipt for the deposit. The staff never reminded about getting back my deposit. I had to ask them about it for them to give it back to me

Everything was great. The girl in the reception was very kind with me. Thanks For the experience in my first trip to Texas.

Service was slow and lacked customer service. Place looked very rundown and nothing like the pictures

They ask you to pay 50 dollar cash for a "DEPOSIT" if you don't have it they do not let you cancel ir get a refund do not booking this hotel is a waste of time

The night shift front desk people are rude as hell. You go ask for another towel as there are only 2 in the room & the room is booked for 3 people. They go on to tell me that they only give everyone 2 towels, you just have to share. Even if there is 4 people booked to a room you get 2 towels. My husband walks up behind me, and they oh sorry sir and give him a towel. Otherwise the hotel isn't all grand, it's an okay place. Decently clean, half ass updated/janky work. But a cheap, decent place to stay a night or two.

They ask for a $50 cash deposit which I've never been asked before anywhere else.. I wanted to check out at 7:45 AM, but no one was there to help me check out until 8:00 AM. I'm glad I wasn't in a hurry..

Shady part of town, dirty outside and inside of room. Reeked of marijuana. A lot of questionable “guest” walking around, loud. SLOW check in.

My bedding was nasty, and the whole place had a musty odor. It was hard to get to as well coming off the interstate. The staff was somewhat amicable.

All we needed was a place to sleep at night, so that’s all I was looking for. Very little amenities.

It was less than I had expected. There is no coffee or tea in the reception area and they didn't clean the room every day. Now I know why it didn't cost so much. I also didn't know that there is a local ordinance prohibiting outdoor pools from operating before May.

If I can say DO NOT in a million different languages I would it’s BELOW the worst encounter I’ve ever experienced. The staff is rude point blank period. This is a long stay hotel so if you’re just vacationing don’t even look at this hotel. The guests are questionable everyone is barefoot and questionable looking they want you to pay cash and I paid through Expedia so they refused to honor my reservation anymore because they weren’t making and money long term . And they want to evade taxes they don’t have a soda machine they sell everything requires CASH so evade taxes. I have no idea HOW Expedia does business with them. Even though you’re long stay housekeeping knocks loudly on your door every single day so if you’re looking for rest don’t look for it here. They demand $100 deposits cash and finds a way to keep it when you check out. Roaches infestation do not leave out any food my son found a roach on his burger the next day. I complained my remote didn’t work the guy came 4pm the next day. Their system don’t auto link to Expedia so I double booked after being harassed my reservation didn’t show up when it did they refused to apply the booking to another day . Just run the manager pretend to be nice she’s lucifer in human form. Just avoid this place. It’s only in business because people have no other options before homelessness. But it’s nasty and they won’t move your AC below 75 even though Texas is hot as hell!!! You’ll thank me later I promise you. I sent my son to stay
