Check in was quick and simple. The room clean and we had room service every day. Clean towels every day. The breakfast. Well you had the choice of cereal, toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, hash brown, fresh fruit or muffin. The motel has an electric gate that makes it very secure, entry being by your room key. The room we had was a disabled room which meant we had a walk in shower which was great for my wife who has bad knees, however, it blocked the first time we used it. The motel had that sorted in ten minutes. The hair dryer didn't work...we had a new one with ten to fifteen minutes. I can't recommend this hotel enough. It was a great place to stay. Thank you to the people who run it, you are a credit to the industry

Gated parking. TV worked right away and had Showtime which is very very nice as I was resting from hospital visit. No commercials-movies are a must in a hotel! Welcoming staff. Clean rooms and sheets. Showers worked. Access to microwave, fridge, wide kitchen counter. Could use some utensils and a few plates though. Will go back. Thanks for putting the time to make sure everything worked.

Any time go to slc I see if I can stay here first. I like how it’s gated and it fieels safer to leave your car there. The staff is nice. The pricing is great and the rooms are cleao and breakfast in the morning is incredible. This is my favorite place to stay

Only motel I’ve ever stayed at with fence around it — liked that. Many homeless people around — local said after 20 years here, he’s never had an incident. Great burger joint a short walk away. Very nice breakfast and clean room. Recommend.

The employees were nice but the room smelled like cigarettes even though it was labeled as a non-smoker. The pool wasn’t open and the parking lot is behind a gate that you need a room key to open so it causes congestion with people parked going into the lobby. The room was fairly clean but I did notice that there were burn holes in the bedding and the towels had makeup stains.

This hotel everything I needed as a solo male traveler. It had a frig, a microwave, free gated parking, decent internet, an outside pool and a free breakfast at a really low rate. After all the taxes and surcharges I think I only paid $95 so it was very affordable. The location is not great as it’s maybe a mile from the busier parts of downtown and yes I did see some homeless people in the area but it worked well for me.

Very dirty, VERY dirty Hair in tub hair on floor. very loud guests (not in their control) but when I asked for it to be corrected they never acted on it. said they would call and did not. I ended up leaving early and did not get a refund for the days I was not there. first night basically did not sleep because of the noise. Tough part is they just do not follow-up to make it better.

The room was really filthy. The ground looked like it had never been mopped. The walls had chipped paint and the tile in the bathroom was dirty along with a stained bath tub

The room was so disgusting and clearly unclean when I arrived. Went to complain, and they moved me to a different room. T.v. Didn’t work. There was BLOOD in the bathroom. Hair in the shower. And this was the 2nd room I moved to. Repulsive. Will never be back.

There was what looked like urine stains on the chair, mold in the bathroom, the room wasn’t cleaned even after I had checked in, when asked to vacuum the room and sweeping the sink area housekeeping person was very angry then took the towels, bath mat and washcloth and didn’t replace them. The so called continental breakfast was very slim and once gone was not refilled. Had I had my own vehicle I would have left and found another place.

Do not stay here. The room was filthy, falling apart, and moldy. The mattresses were covered in stains, the carpets were full of debris and it was evident it had not been vacuumed in a long time and there was a winter glove just laying in the middle of floor, the corner of the wall was falling apart and shards of metal were sticking out, the shower had mold growing in the corners, there is no security chain on the door or anyway to prevent a toddler from opening the room door from the inside because even when you use the “lock” it automatically unlocks as soon as you pull on the door handle. The area was not the greatest. There was “free cell phone” tents set up at the entrance to the property and homeless people laying in the grass near the tents. You do need a room key to get into the parking area which provided some level of security, but I wouldn’t really consider that a “plus”. We won’t be staying here again.

It was a good model for the money we paid. The bed was a bit bouncy and the heater was hard to get an accurate temperature. Was clean place and the parking lot was gated.

This motel is well maintained for an older property. The best parts were the friendly staff and the hot, full breakfast! The worst parts were the 'too soft' bed and the part of downtown you would not want to go for a morning walk.

Fabulous, clean hotel i had just 2 issues, 1-the noise from outside, totally not your fault but im not sure i will stay here again because of the noise. 2- please.have the AC on and running before guests arrive. I checked in around 9pm and my room was so hot that it did not cool off all night.

Obviously this is a low cost facility so it won't get Marriott level ranking. I needed a low cost trip so this was what I planned for and could do it again in similar circumstances. Negatives - not much money put into keeping up with wear and tear so it is old and worn. SO COLD - heating not working so especially the second 40 degree night was freezing and I had to put on extra clothing. The control panel has clearly been broken a long time. Location 10 blocks from center and no convenient food nearby. Ok if you don't mind a short walk. Positives - staff was good and so was the free breakfast.

The room looked like it was under construction. Paint peeling off the door and baseboards. Aesthetically not very pleasing. But everything appeared pretty clean. The tv was so outdated and the picture was wavy. And only had like 4 channels all which were terrible quality.

TV didn’t work. Tile grout was moldy and tub fixtures were loose and sloppy. Smoke detector had plastic cover over it. Neighbors were loud and can hear cars come in and out of parking lot all night.

I made a HUGE mistake booking this hotel. I arrived at midnight tired from a day of travel to find they wouldn’t honor the booking. I had the misfortune of meeting “Carl” who repetitively lied to my face making statements that Hotel.com cancelled the booking (they hadn’t), that my credit card was declined (it wasn’t - btw my credit score is 848), among other just blatantly false statements. It was lie after lie with “Carl”. Sure I arrived at midnight but that’s WHY I had a booking. They could have said we oversold the rooms, they could have helped find other accommodations, they could have taken some responsibility for their actions — but dealing with “Carl” was like dealing with a 4 year old preschooler. I travel extensively and I can tell you that there are lots of hotels in SLC and you can do better. MUCH BETTER anyplace else.

Booked the room for My dad and his room didn’t have warm water he’s old and can be hard to deal with but they accused him trying to go in and out of everyone’s hotel rooms and were mean when asked to switch rooms and refused the deposit back the next morning saying it’s up to the manager for your deposit and he’s not here so tough luck I tried to inquire about the experience but never got a return call from anyone and never received the deposit back

Went back to get another room and walked into that room and it smelled like a mildewed ashtray when it was supposed to be non smoking. It was dirty on the floor and bathroom. People working on cars outside felt unsafe. HORRIBLE isn’t the word. Checked out asap and if course received no money back. Most awful experience!!

The hotel was convenient, not too far from public transportation, and secure with locked access and someone at the front desk every time I passed. The room was very clean, but the chemical smell from the cleaner was so overwhelming I put a "do not disturb" on the door for the length of my stay to avoid more of it. Also, pillows were impossible for me to use - too lofty and firm.

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The area around the hotel was a bit rough with a homeless person sleeping in front of the hotel, but I appreciated the gated parking

This hotel everything I needed as a solo male traveler. It had a frig, a microwave, free gated parking, decent internet, an outside pool and a free breakfast at a really low rate. After all the taxes and surcharges I think I only paid $95 so it was very affordable. The location is not great as it’s maybe a mile from the busier parts of downtown and yes I did see some homeless people in the area but it worked well for me.

Check in was quick and simple. The room clean and we had room service every day. Clean towels every day. The breakfast. Well you had the choice of cereal, toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, hash brown, fresh fruit or muffin. The motel has an electric gate that makes it very secure, entry being by your room key. The room we had was a disabled room which meant we had a walk in shower which was great for my wife who has bad knees, however, it blocked the first time we used it. The motel had that sorted in ten minutes. The hair dryer didn't work...we had a new one with ten to fifteen minutes. I can't recommend this hotel enough. It was a great place to stay. Thank you to the people who run it, you are a credit to the industry

Very, very nice staff. Great breakfast, gated parking and smells and looks clean We actually stayed a second night and took in the sights so we wouldn't have look for an equally nice hotel for the same price.

Mold in the shower, loose toilet seat and lid that would not stay up, no fruit or protein in the “hot” breakfast, cheap plastic folding chair at the desk which collapsed and no elevator to my second floor room.

Very comfortable clean room. Very good hot breakfast. And all at an affordable price. Ideal overnight in SLC for someone on the road . The gated parking gave an extra feeling of safety.

Staff was pleasant but breakfast area was a mess. The waffle maker was disgusting. In our room the carpet was stained and the tub chipped and dirty.

I made a HUGE mistake booking this hotel. I arrived at midnight tired from a day of travel to find they wouldn’t honor the booking. I had the misfortune of meeting “Carl” who repetitively lied to my face making statements that Hotel.com cancelled the booking (they hadn’t), that my credit card was declined (it wasn’t - btw my credit score is 848), among other just blatantly false statements. It was lie after lie with “Carl”. Sure I arrived at midnight but that’s WHY I had a booking. They could have said we oversold the rooms, they could have helped find other accommodations, they could have taken some responsibility for their actions — but dealing with “Carl” was like dealing with a 4 year old preschooler. I travel extensively and I can tell you that there are lots of hotels in SLC and you can do better. MUCH BETTER anyplace else.
